How's it going everyone. A quick question, please. I've been searching this in the T7 documentation but could not find the answer to my curiosity. So, I've been noticing that at every normal engine start, the EGT seems to always peak at 556-557 in the EGT reading. And this doesn't seem to be affected by Outside air temperature at all. Now, I am unaware if the EEC has anything to do with limiting the EGT to a certain point at every start, but I wonder if this is either just a pre-determined EGT animation or a realistic implementation. Firstly I promise I wont post here every time the aircraft glitches Am on climb out on a short hop from Dubai to Doha (OMDB -OTBD) Admittedly despite studying the FCOM/QRH my experience on the T7 is coming from the 744. Just had a status msg 'OVERHEAT CIRCUIT L1) So, no ECL actions to follow? This is a beautiful aircraft & simulation,but sometimes I feel like a passenger. Could someone quickly fill me in on what has failed? Thanks

So, like most of you I love the service based failures, it gives each aircraft it's own individual character in our virtual fleet, just like the real world (some tail numbers are way more troublesome than others) I have no real understanding of the true logic behind these failures except PMDG coded the likeliness of a failure based on real world data. My question is this - I constantly get bleed valve failures. I had 15mins to pushback from SBKP - SEQM, once again my APU bleed valve is stuck shut & the PRSOV R is stuck open. Hi, I haven't purchased the 777 yet, but I have the 737 NGX and one thing that (is) was not correct is the tail strike simulation: when during takeoff rotation I pull the yoke too much, the tail penetrates the ground like a knife in butter. I modified some contact points in the aircraft.cfg and now I have a better behaviour, with the tail skid that hits the ground and doesn't sink into it. Is the tail strike correctly modelled in the 777? Thanks!

Finding so many little gems on this plane, it's almost like looking for easter eggs! Anyone who's watched the 21st Century Jet series will probably recall a design issue they discovered on the 777 in flight testing when they retracted the landing gear. There was a significant flutter in the nose gear doors when they were in transit coming up. Turned out there was a lot of turbulence generated in the gear well that shook those puppies pretty bad. Just a simple question, Yes or No. If Yes maybe a short list of hardware and settings in general. No long details . After the silly little tweak, setting sound quality to 1 FSX have never been this smooth like it is now. T7 flyes like a real queen now. Smooth and nice to hand fly. Even could raise the scenery settings a lot to levels that was impossible before. Airports full of AIs too. So I just wonder if there are more out there with FSX on WinXP 32 that just runs fine with the T7?? Hey guys, Normally I can fly the 777 without any crashes, except for the following: I'm in the middle of a longer flight (today it was KIAD-KSFO), using the Auto Time Compression feature (enabled all the time) and start to plan my approach. In order to do that I pull up the NAV page on the lower EICAS and want to look at certain waypoints around my destination, so I go to the EFIS panel and turn this knob (normally on NAV) to PLAN. Hi Guy's so after 200+ hours of happy flying I finally received my first ever OOM (OMDB - EGLL) it actually happened on roll out so I still managed to enjoy the trip. The only difference between this flight and all the others is I enabled the external model so VC shadows could work in DX10. I can appreciate many love to look at the external view during flight, it is a very good model but personally I have no need for it. My time is 100% on the flight deck My question is how hard would it be for PMDG to have a basic external model for those that don't care for wing views, in flight fly by's etc? Hi all, So this has happened several time on me now. I finished my engine start-up process and though was ready to taxi. I advanced my Saitek throttles forward and saw the throttles in the VC advanced along. Yet the engines did not spool up/follow to where the throttle were, as if the engines were 'disconnected' to the throttle position. I looked up the overhead panel and saw, under the C2 Primary button, was a "fault" light. Same light goes for L Main and R Main. Panel state: both 777 short/long has this issue. This is weird. I have a fresh install here, fresh everything (Win7 + FSX + PMDG777 + OPUS) Nothing else installed into FSX or into Win7! I am trying to see what produces 777 freezes and what not. I had freezes before but now I have done 4 flights and I dont get any more freezes. (same flights that produced freezes before under the same conditions) And I am trying to produce a freeze here! All I did is update the Ops Center from the one that shipped with the PMDG777 download, to todays version. I saw a 777.dll was updated in the process.
