Yesterday I flew KIAD to OMDB, and it was a delight flying the whole flight minute to minute. I did everything a real crew will do during this flight. I even simulated position reporting as well as taking a break a couple of times. I took a quick nap and watched a quick movie and even took a shower, maybe showering is meant for an A380. It was lots of fun watching scenery change. I will surely do it again especially with the upcoming update. The real flight arrived twenty minutes before me due to taking a more of a southern track across the Atlantic.

I've notice this for some time now. It seems to be some part of a texture or something on the bottom unused standby plate. Anyone else seeing this?

Greetings all. I recently bought a new laptop and it comes with two graphics cards. An Intel HD integrated card and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M that uses Optimus. Will I be able to run the 777?. My other specs: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Intel i5-2410M 2.30 Ghz 4GB RAM Thanks.

During takeoff with the 777-200LRF I hear no announcements about V1, Rotate and V2, I have RAAS all checks are on, I'd like to hear. During the landing there are communications, there might be something to do ?

Will this option be simulated on the new update as it is already showing on the CDU?

This is a question to Flight simmers who are not REAL world pilots. Based on your experience on simulators and hours of flying on your PC, do you think you have got enough knowledge to save an actual plane in distress and save the day if need arises ? (with a couple of failure alerts on EICAS :ph34r:) I for myself, NO ! because I never practiced failures on any aircraft in my Sim.

Hi, For all of you that have Opencockpits (OC) hardware modules and would like to control the B777 with OC's MCP, EFIS, FMC/CDU etc. I just wanted to tell you that a new Home Cockpit interface is in the final development stage. Just waiting for PMDG to release the SDK, so I can legally start delivering. Hope the SDK comes out with the 300 and the SP. It will work hand in hand with the OCP4NGX interface for B737, so switching between airplanes to be hardware controlled will be just a few mouse clicks.

Hi all, Just done my first flight after downloading her tonight an I must say she is a very addictive aircraft to fly. My first thought's are that she is a little sloppy in the turns but hey I soon adjusted to her. The only thing I have is that the WIng flex seem's to be a bit over the top on certain views but to be fair I don't care I just love this plane well worth the cost. PS I know it's off topic but does anyone have the bmp wing files for the NGX as I have the dreaded blocky wings.

Are 200LR pilots rated to fly the 300ER, say, after a few hours of differences training? It would be a similar scenario to the 757/767 rating. What about between the 200ER and 200LR?

Another strange thing and it has happened many time when I fly 777 these days, in normal situation, 777 will start initializing when we get into FSX, but in my case, my 777 won't start initializing, so there is no Flight instruments available、no buttons available、turbofans and Landing gears are disappeared.... And when I try to close FSX and restart it, I always got "Fatal Error" message when I try to exit FSX with 777 and NGX, Hasegawa Kobato

Good evening to all. I purchased the PMDG T7 few months ago, but I found my screen somewhat blurry. I have to zoom, then loose 1/2 of the screen.The indications are so small. Does the fact that I have a 15'' laptop matter ? Would a 17'' make a difference or it is the graphic card ? Please let me know so I can consider or not getting a new laptop. Thank you in advance.

I have Specific info on a B777-200ER like EOW MZFW, MTOW, MLW equip etc. If I change the the Empty Weight in the CFG file to match the info i have, I will be lowering the weight. Will that screw up the FMC calculations and fuel flow parameters. what about changing the MZFW, MTOW, MLW MRMP? Im guessing that it will mess things up so Im asking before i do it. Hi everyone! With the release of this awesome addon so close at hand I thought I might ask a question that I have wondered about for a while now. Perhaps any one of the developers, testers (or anyone in the know really) can help me out here. I know the GE90s for the longer range 777s come in 2 thrust variants the -110 and 115. However I have observed that many operators list their engine type with an extra suffix like GE90-115BL, GE90-115BL2, GE90-110B1L. What do these suffices mean? For instance I noticed the PMDG model has its engine listed as the GE90-110B1L2. I would also to know if PMDG plan on making the -115B option available for the LR/LRF on a later da…

Fellow captains, I rarely post but I'm having an issue with my 777.i have searched this issue but can't find anything. I have been flying the 777 since release day without issue. In the last few days I have been having an issue with some panels of 777 with some panels not working, i load the aircraft, start ground power, load flight plan and start the APU. Push back and now either the overhead or the mcp won't work. I have used different livery and different airports. The only way to fix it is re-start fsx all over and begin again which is a pain. Just now I was planning to fly WSSS-WIII after I (in real life ) flew wiii-yssy. I did just install a new WIII scener…

In the FMC I put in 180,000 lbs of fuel, but it would not change from 358,000. It was installed using admin rights so was FSX. Any suggestions? PS, everything else in the FMC appears to be working fine except load fuel

Hello flight simmers! A bit of a pre-story, Recently I deleted my fsx.cfg and then started up fsx to receive a fresh default fsx.cfg. After that, I tweaked the fsx.cfg and replaced it with the fresh one. So now, I have a perfectly working fsx.cfg with, no problems. Ok, so then I look into my aircraft directory (in fsx) and see that all aircraft are there, however with no liveries. I deleted and reinstalled the liveries of the PMDG 777 in the operations center. However this did not work either. Now I don't know what to do! As I don not want to fly with the standard PMDG 777 paint which is the only one existing at the moment. Hello Everyone, I just noticed today that the even on the ground speedbrake lever would engage itself and move like it has that 'jitter' of a bad controller, except I deleted the assignment on my x52. It is mapped to the default keyboard mapping yet it still moves and arms. I've tried restarting fsx, disconnecting the x52 and restarting my computer. All have had no effect, I'm stumped.

Hello fellow simmers. I am planning to buy the PMDG 777 but I have a question regarding whether my system meets the minimum requirements for it. I can run the NGX quite well as I have set all my sliders to medium and traffic is set to 15%. I also use only the default scenery and airports and no weather addons. My laptop specs are: Windows 7 32 bit AMD M340 Dual Core 2.2 GHz 4GB RAM 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4300 Any advice is greatly appreciated.
