When you do the fire test, the EICAS will display "FIRE TEST IN PROGRES" warning message. However, on FCOM 8.30.4, it is said that "FIRE TEST IN PROG" is what should be showing. I assume this is fixed in SP1? Cheers.

Hello guys, I am very interested in this good add on wich is PMDG 777. But before buying it, i want to know 2 things: _ First, I saw that it is a product that we download on PMDG official website. Hi, In the flight tutorial 1, one can read: I created a KIAD-CYUL flight and you can see in the PFD that the waypoint LONNA has a restriction 3000A. Can you explain why the green deceleration circle is not displayed? Mind you, the tutorial says "can", so I understand it's not all the time? The green circle I am talking about:

Hi there, according to some forum tips I tried to fail the pfc into secondary mode inside the failure menu. Unfortunately I get the "no autoland" EICAS warning and more important I am unable to enable the autopilot. It disconnects within 1second after enabling. The aircraft is trimmed out of course. Is it normal or am I doing something wrong? Because other's are using secondary mode I think the failure is on my side.

Hi, I recently upgraded my hardware (New Mobo and CPU) and it seems since then I have been having issues with the 777 regarding the left engine. It seems that it is unable to get any power output from it what so ever. I believe I've read all the documentation correctly for the start up (Tried Cold and Dark Panel State, Short and Long) But I always seem to get the same issue. After looking into the planes systems I found out why my Left Engine wasn't working properly and it seems that its just not getting the power it needs, unlike the right, which is running fine. A while back, Royal Jordanian was set to order T7's, but went with A340-200's and later A330-200's. I was hoping to get a "What could have been" T7 repaint, as I believe they would have gone for the ER which is close enough to the LR. I cannot believe I am requesting this repaint, as I am quite happy with EK, but it would be nice if possible. Feel free to give it a tail number as follows: JY-HBW. Hey 777 experts out there, I was just wondering about the procedure for rejected takeoffs, with regard to the speedbrakes. Found this video of an RTO in a 777 Sim on youtube. At 1:11 an engine failure occurs and the captain does the following: 1. pull the thrust levers back to idle 2. deploy the speedbrakes 3. set reverse thrust. That's also how it's written in the QRH. But now I coincidentally found that on the PMDG 777, as soon as you pull the reverser levers, the speedbrake will automatically open. I've run about a dozen sessions to test this, just to make sure its repeatable. I'm not sure it helps anything but it might reduce a variable or two. I run a sequence where I start at the same gate at the same airport KLAX, same time of day (historic weather for ASN), I load the same flight plan, run thru the startup procedure and taxi to the active. Ultimate Traffic 2 is set to 75% traffic. First with the 737-800 NGX and then with the T777. I run an Intel I7-980x extreme overclocked to 4.5 Mhz with 12gig of DDR1600 and it is stable for countless hours running Prime. Hi all, I made a flight UUDD - EGLL (UK2000 light version) with a Speedbird and when landing to EGLL a bell began piip in the background every, say, 5 seconds. My VAS was only about 5.8 Gb and I despite the sound managed to taxi a long way to the gate, but then I got a message about c++ runtime error and fsx closed down. This morning found be flying the latest 777 Beta from EGSS-LGKR. A last minute parts shortage at the desalination plant close by called for an AeroLogic charter. Looking at our load sheet we saw a ZFW of 230T indicating our desalination machinery weighed about 88.6T- a very comfortable load for this incredible cargo transporter. Weather at both ends was perfectly acceptable and so we took on the suggested 23,633 kgs of best British kerosene and while it was pumping on-board, busied ourselves with the addictive banality of pre-flight. Forgive me for posting an off topic post, but I posted this in the FSX forum three days ago and did not even get one view let alone any responses so I am posting here since more people in this forum would use SimRoutes. Since February 9th, 2014 I have sent numerous emails to the admin at SimRoutes. In the past they have always responded, I may have had to resend the email, but someone always responded. After reinstall I no longer can see any flightplans in the FMC to load - not even the tutorial flight. NOTHING! Previously I made a flightplan through FSCommander with SID's - EKCHLOWW - which turned up perfectly in the FMC. Along with this was also the tutorial flight ready to be executed. So what happened during the reinstall? - or rather not happened maybe - when this obstacle now occurs? In order to possibly help out the halting process...from where exactly do PMDG actually pickup the flightplans for import?! None of my relevant folders or subfolders are restricted - they all have read/write rights for 'ALL'..!

Hi Chaps, Was doing an EGLL - LLBG run this afternoon and was happy to have online ATC, and happier that they told me to expect the RNAV GNSS approach for runway 30! Have yet to do an NPA in this thing so was looking forward to it. Anyway they cleared me for the approach just before the downwind and I was at clean speed, LNAV and VNAV PTH. I cross checked all the FMC altitude and speed constraints with the charts and all were in there. I put the MDA in the MCP on the downwind, which I know I would get into trouble for on a line check but hey, no one was watching! Some of you may remember me as a painter from way back (back in the SGA days to be exact). I still do occasionally throw some paint on a plane I'm fond of and want to fly around, but mostly have retired from that facet of the hobby. Anyway, I've tweaked a few 777s by request of simmer's in this forum (you know who you are), and some for myself. Hey guys, I have just re-installed Windows and FSX with PMDG 737 NGX and 777 and tried installing my add-ons which consists of 1. EZCA EZDok camera 2. REX 4 Direct Texture 3. ENB series 24hr v 1.1 (uninstalled it) 4. Active Sky Next (uninstalled it) 5. Radar Contact 4.3 (unistalled it) I reinstalled win7 and fsx because I had issues like: 1. Cannot TOGA 2. Good afternoon I know the OOM issue is beaten to death. I was still having the OOM tones (very close to OOM) using the 777. I have made sure that all of the steps have been followed in the manual to ensure this isnt an issue, but the beeps still persist (usually only with payware airports, not in general usage). I have been running UT2 for the aircraft displays on VATSIM. Is there an amount of VAS that UTservices use while FS is running? Would disabling it help? I am just trying to smooth everything out.
