PMDG 777

Hi, Not expecting an official response since this is related to DX10. So, just departed out of EGNX enroute to OBBI. VC shadows look amazing except for one thing, they vanish if you are looking directly forward. Just want to confirm others are seeing this behavior? Not a massive problem, when looking around with TrackIR the shadows come back. Have tried other aircraft and they all work as expected. Anyone have a solution? Cheers

just had a few easy questions i hope that maybe someone could answer for me, i put the heading into the knob and click the HDG button hoping it will follow what i input but the aircraft wants to follow the LNAV route and i have to turn off auto pilot to fly to the heading ATC is giving me on vatsim. :unsure: Also when i input my route on my FMC from simroutes.com the FMC doesn't calculate the decending path at all is it because i have to get my ARV runway information when i get closer?

help! i used the map to take me to 30,000 ft then my altimeter went crazy and so did my heading indicator can anyone help whats wrong?! :mad:

Hello all, I was loading up a EGLL-KEWR flight plan from simroute.com into the 777's fmc, and then I received a message saying that my imported plan was aborted. Any help?

Hey Guy's Have a little problem. Anyone here flown into UK2000 EGNX with the 777? It is a major UK cargo hub. For some reason the 777 will bounce up & down on the runway. Have checked the UK2000 forum but nobody has reported an issue. Also checked the AFCAD to see the runway surface used, everything looks normal. (I could be looking at the default AFCAD not the UK2000 one) I have every Aerologic destination installed, this is the only airport that has an issue. Hoping another freight dog out there has a solution? Cheers

I bought the saitek cessna yoke and notice it's hard to accurate to control throttle with saitek throttle, does anyone had same problem ? Also i didn't found same situation with PMDG 737NGX and MJC dash8.

Today I was preparing to install a new dowload from avsim.com and the ops center will not let me get in the livery installation. All it shows is to purchase the aircraft. Im all ready have the aircrafts.I need some help, to get the ops center back on line. For me to be able to install more downloads. Thanks

when i load my pmdg 777 liverie the aircraft doesent work but with normal house liverie it works help! and nothing can be touched oh wait its working i think its because it never installezsted adaf what ever no need to replay to this topic :lol:

I have tried many times to download liveries in the control center, When I hit "Download", it just goes to "Starting" than right back to "Download" and it doesn't download it! I am ran as admin, what I am I supposed to do?? Can someone HELP???

Hi I have a question to the approach route. I now flown by EDDV after EGLL. Have made ​​2 Pictures. Hi all I've put in a lot of time in the PMDG777 as I do mostly pacific crossings from Tokyo to wherever. At the moment I'm wrapping up a flight from Toronto to Tokyo with auto time compression set to 8x. Something strange has been happening on this flight though. When the aircraft reached its first step climb point from 30,000 to 32,000 feet, the aircraft commanded a height of 40,000 feet by itself and attempted to climb there despite being unable to even achieve that altitude due to being over weight. I know I read in a post about issues with the throttles, but I can't find it. I cannot move the T7 unless I take the AT switches off. This is not how it's done in tut 1. Also while on the runway, I can't set the throttles to 55%, I have to have the AT switches off, which means I can't set TOGA. I have a Goflight TQ6 and can not set it thru FSUIPC nor thru the FSX options. The Goflight issue is not important right now, but the AT issue is. Gnacino

I recently purchased the PMDG B77 200 and love it. I used FS Build to create a couple flight plans, brought up the B777 via normal FSX procedures, set all of the flight parameters including all FMC parameters and then saved the flight situation. Opened the saved flight situation later and flew both saved flights and everything was fine. I created a third (and then fourth) flight plan via FSB, went thru same procedure as before, and then saved the flight in FSX. When I opened I didn't get the normal 14 or so seconds of B777 simulation load time, all of the overhead panel showed normal conditions but all of the cockpit displays (MCP, ND, PFD, EICAS, etc.) were blank. Hi, I'm not sure if this is a VNAV problem or really an auto-throttle problem, but several times now VNAV has bust the vertical profile whilst on descent. The required descent angle to maintain profile has been shallower than the aircraft has been flying, putting it below path. When it has done this, the thrust has been in HOLD mode. The AT system does not appear to want to engage to maintain sufficient thrust once it enters this mode. If I manually add thrust (mode still HOLD) then the aircraft will level off and capture the path, but I'm basically in manual thrust at this point, which is not what I would expect. With my system running 32bit Vista OS, one of the things I do to reduce VAS usage is to manually load my startup dll's in the dll.xml fil (By setting ManalLoad to True) On one occasion running theT7, I inadvertently said no to loading the PMDG_INTERFACE.dll fle., but the 777 loaded fine, and everything went as expected. all functions worked, RAAS, Terrain, ECL, etc... No problems whatsoever. I've run other flights the same way, with no issue. So my question is what does this DLL do, and is it really needed, as I could sure use the extra VAS? Thanks Tom Cain

Hi, I'm a 777 pilot and thought it would be a handy training/revision tool to add the FSX software and PMDG 777 to my new iMac. I'm running VMWARE fusion with windows 7, but haven't been able get anywhere near the level of graphics I'd hoped. The cockpit graphics are blurred and I can only operate switches because I know what should be there. I've tried altering the visual settings, but have not seen any improvement. If anyone has experience enough to advise me I'd be most grateful. It's easier flying the real thing!

The PMDG 777LF/F comes with an amazing range and depth of sounds that immerses me. I noticed that each click of a korry switch, rotation of a knob or spring loaded switch may sound different at times. But I have a few question regarding the engines that had me curious, and a few other questions 1. What is the humming you hear after fuel is introduced at engine start? 2. The engine scream at high RPM - is it caused by the fan or the compressor stages? 3. Are there any audio additions/tweaks in SP1? -Beta folks only- 4. Where's that chemtrail switch... :ph34r:
