PMDG 777

My im installing my pmdg 777 it says before it goes to the installer unable to locate fsx.exe

Hi, Before posting questions or asking for support I wanted to say thank you to PMDG for the 777. I am back to FSX after many years of absence. I started flightsimming with FS2002, learnt to fly G/A mostly on Dreamfleet and RealAir planes, then moved to rotary wings (Dodosim). After that I had a pause on MS Flightsim and learnt to fly gliders on Condor The Competition Soaring Simulator. Recently I tried to catch up with what was going on in the FS World and WOW! Prepar3D, a new training platform/sim and... the 777 (my favourite airliner) by PMDG! Plus I got a new PC last Christmas... So it is the right time to learn to fly heavies! Hey guys, I am using FSBuild to create flights for my PMDG aircrafts. For the 737NGX I have no problems but for the 777 now it gives me an aiport not found when I try to import a CO ROUTE into the FMS. Strange... Any of you having the same issue? I want to use the PMDG CO ROUTE since most routes are long to program into the FMS. Any suggestions on what could be happening? Regards, Teo

Every time I start up the plane for a flight, after the engines are started the engine generators wont ever kick in. The overhead switch lights remain illuminated off and I have the eicas messages to go with it. Is there something I'm missing here or is this part of the simulation? Help please!!!

Hi, Under what conditions does the data at the bottom of the engine display appear? If I pull up the AIR page for example, I get the data, but I largely disable the lower DU in flight. Is there a particular page I'm supposed to switch to before switching off the display? Best regards, Robin.

Hello Folks, I'm a bit confused having an issue with a flightplan upload into 777 FMC. I created this plan with PFPX and placed it into the specific Folders. When trying to upload it into FMC I got an error message (Invalid entry) and FSX message in the green banner that Destination Airport is not existing. First of all I thought it was an issue with PFPX Flightplan and maybe with the new AIRAC cycle I installed this morning. I created some other Plans and they worked fine. I have no idea why the FMC don't accept this particular FP. Any ideas?? Thank you in advance Best Regards Andreas Hövel

I did a search but apparently no one has got my small issue. Sometimes, even if I disconnect GPU, ASU, ACU within the CDU, I have the GPU which stays attached to the aircraft, visually speaking. What was my surprise, after takeoff, switching to external view and see this little cart floating in the air near the aircraft !!!! I will try to take a picture next time. Is it a known issue ? Will it be corrected in the coming SP1 ? Anyone tell me how/why I've lost the capability to select the FMC from the FO FMC. Is it restorable without a restart?

Someone please help. I have tried a re install of PMDG 777-200LR, but I cannot climb above FL220 without getting stick shaker and low airspeed warnings, which do not terminate . The acft will never exceed 230 KIAS. This problem is limiting me to destinations up to 7 to 8 hrs form T/O. This is happening on all liveries and all ULH flights such as KLAX, YSSY (this one is UAE414 to YSSY). Hello I know that the SP will take time- due to the WX radar. I don't care about the radar- I want to enjoy the 90$ I spent on this aircraft finally. My simulator freezes occasionally and return every few moments only with the 777. Honestly I prefer a working plane for my money than a freezing plane with a WX radar. I read that my problem is under investigation, but what am I supposed to do if you release the SP with the radar- without this fix? Should I continue wait for the next SP? I paid 90$, I want to justify this money, not regret paying. Sincerely Amit

I have read the introduction manual and I am fully aware of PMDG's recommendation to not use "dll injection" but I really like the graphics modifications that ENB series provides. Since installing the 777, I have been experiencing frequent CTD's lately as a result of my current ENB series installation (d3d9.dll fault per the appcrashviewer)and so needless to say I will be removing it from FSX. Anybody out there using ENB without much incident in the 777? Any recommendations for a stable ENB series that works reasonably well with FSX would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I'm flying my 777 for a couple of weeks now and still I enjoy every minute of it. But there is one, smaller problem, which is very annoying and hopefully you can help me with it. Sometimes, when I do not have enough time for a short flight, I load a new flight on the Runway, wait for all Systems to load and take off. Than, I take all preparations for the landing, set Flap Speeds, already set the Flpas to let's say 20, Gear etc... I have purchased the 777 and when I click on the download link in my email I get a message that says "Error: You request ID is incorrect. Please contact store administrator for more information." Can someone help me with this? What causes this error? Thanks.

I set my MCP to 2,000ft, turn off the auto compression, running at 4x, I get a vertical path deviation indicator on the right side of my ND, but the throttle never go to idle for the decent for the decent to GIRMI with it's 230/13000B restriction. The aircraft just keeps cruising at 38,000 ft, following the decent and landing legs at that altitude. Waiting to hear from PMDG, but am hoping some one on this forum has run into this problem. I have just purchased the PMDG 777, but I do not seem to be able to download it. The download URL has been provided, but whenever I click on it, I am just taken back to the login page. I have already logged in with my email address and order code, but it refuses to play ball. I have forgotten my store password, so I have requested that this be sent to my email address. However, so far the email has not arrived (the message indicated that an email had been sent). Why is this not working? The password has now arrived, and I am successfully downloading the product. My first problem for a long time since running fsx, now when I start fsx I get the following message if I click yes fsx shuts down and if I click no fsx starts Than when I get into the t7 I get no rwy audio saying which rwy iam entering etc everything else seems to work except for the RAAS

I'm curious to know if the VNAV logic will be updated with SP1. Currently it sometimes demonstrates some odd and illogical behaviour in the descent. Firstly the descent path / profile is often out by 2000 - 3000ft or more in some situations. Today I was flying into OMDB, and the vertical profile insisted I was 4000ft high - there was only one 2000A constraint between the A/C and RW and simple track mile vs height calc, tells me I was exactly on profile. VNAV didn't agree. (Yes, the leg was updated and valid for present position.)
