    Morning PMDG, Came across an issue this past weekend and figured I would run it by the forums to see what I did wrong / what I can learn. Disclaimer: I have read the intro manuals, pulled FCOMs etc. but no Kyle, I have not dug deep into the manuals on this issue. I am at work and dont have the pdfs stored here.     Anybody using this entry in the FSX.cfg? [Main] DisablePreload=1 (prevents the default flight from being loaded as FSX boots, which should speed up FSX boot and avoid loading things into memory that you do not need) I was wondering if it reduces startup VAS or just screws up the 777 initializing process?

    Hi Guys, After 10 or more trouble free test flights I have had my first CTD whilst flying on Vatsim due to the TCAS FSINN is running on a networked PC. First leg EDDP - OBBI Zero issues and the aircraft & TCAS performed flawlessly. Second leg OBBI - VHHH On departure I received a resolution advisory, ND showed traffic almost on top of me, no actual traffic in the area except a Qatar 777 freighter 30 miles away.   5. Hi captains! Again I have an issue with the 77L brakes: Course of events: 0. I cannot find a braking bug in 1. I flew ACA33 CYYZ-CYVR-YSSY and had *no* problem to brake before the take-offs and after the landings. 2. Sitting at YSSY the random fault 'REPAIR ALL BRAKES' kicked in, and now it is unclear what we shall do, either or both of the following? 2.1 Is it sufficient to clear this fault in PMDG SETUP/AIRCRAFT/FAILURES/WHEEL AND BRAKES?     Hi guys, I am having a problem or probably a missunderstanding of how to use the clock. I usually set in FSX the day and the time, e.g. 18:00. Then the time shown in the fmc and the clock (in my case pmdg 777) is the GMT time, in this case 23:00. How can I set this time to the local one? Thanks!

  7. Hi everyone, First, congratulation for your 777. I'm flying a real one, and it's amazing. During my first flight tests, everything was fine. Recently, I noticed that I have lost all the approach altitude alerts, from 1,000 to 10 feet. I have saved several default flight and save several panel state. I checked the FMC menu option, but all of those alert are activated. I am going to start with the default cessna 172, to switch to the 777, and make some tests. Anybody have this issue ?     Somehow I can resize the popup panels but can no longer drag them out of the way while in the VC. I have EZDOCK installed and am wondering if this could have something to do with it? Thanks!

    I'm currently looking for a printable checklist that will take me from the gate (after loading a long haul T7 FMC state) to the ramp.... I want something that will go through all the steps from Turing on the PACs, to the APU, disconnecting ground connections to setting up the FMC. Something that takes you from A to Z... Right now I'm using FSX in windowed mode and following along via YouTube tutorials which is inconvenient and time consuming besides having FSX running in window mode, which I hate. Thanks!

    Hi All! A week ago I bought the T7. It's wonderful! I have flown the Tutorial#1 flight and it went great! The Tutorial#1 sometimes referred to the Tutorial#2, but I can't find it. Is it out already? Or couldn't find it on the Precionmanuals website either. And I have got a second question : I have set my default airplane set to LONG. Are there any checklists that start from there? Someone on this forum posted a self-made checklists, but that started from the cold and dark setup. Or is there something else that I can use? Thanks!     Have you met my problem: I have installed and reinstalled the PMDG 777 ... but I still encounter the same problem during a scheduled flight fmc on the first flight proceeds normally but the second flight fsx bug and even after fsx stimulus and impossible to make a full flight. I am not alone in encountering this bug then where is the problem. Thank you for your answers

    Load up a cold and dark panel or shut down your plane normally. This means that your ADIRU switch should be in "OFF" position. With all power removed (on board, external disconnected, and battery power switched off), push the ADIRU switch. The "ON BAT" light comes on with the infamous battery siren. According to the FCOM: "The ON BAT light illuminates when the ADIRU switch is selected ON and ground power or primary power is subsequently removed or failed (battery power only remains)."     Since experiencing the first of many OOM's when flying the T7 I'm considering Steve's DX10 Fixer and running in DX10 Mode. Apparently, DX10 improves performance and better yet is a huge boost to preventing OOM's through decreased VAS. From what I've read, DX10 may just be the savior for FSX and OOM's and DX10 mode for FSX seems to be continually and constantly improved. I've heard that the PMDG JS41 VC was designed/made workable with VC shadows in DX10 mode. Does PMGD plan on adding the same functionality to the T7 and NGX? Has there been any mention of this? This would be a great way to get some of the visuals and performance of P3D in current FS…

    All the previous PMDG planes had no problems with it, but if I replay a landing with the 777 using FS-Recorder, controls on the wings are not moving (both flaperon & aileron). To be more precisely, the flaperon changes position related to the flap's position and e.g. moves up when reverse thrust is activated on the ground, but the inputs done by the yoke are not shown. Is there a trick to make them move normally? Maybe the fly-by-wire system prevents the moves. At least the Autopilot was off, so it must be something different.

  18. In my last two flights I have received this message and been unable to turn it off. The non-normal checklist is unhelpful and switching the right engine bleed switch off and then on does not remove the message. I can, of course, fly with the message present as the opposite side supplies sufficient bleed air. Can anyone tell me how to correct for this message, please?

  19. This is just out of interest because messages during initialisation are not relevant but one of the messages which is shown briefly when I open a saved flight is "FL250 200 - 270 kts" in magenta. Under what circumstances would that message show in a normal flight?

    Hi, I've just noticed that raas is no longer present on my computer, if I go in the fsx menu odd-on modules, there's no raas items, I didn't do anything special on my fsx during last times, what could have happened? is it fixable without reinstalling the T7 from the scratch?

    Hi there guys, Would it be possible to have a more used cockpit option for the 777 that can be toggled via the PMDG operations centre? With the 300er coming to us soon, they have perhaps gained more usage compared to the newer 200LR. The dirty cockpit would add to the authenticity of the product in my opinion and it would be something I would greatly appreciate having the option of. Kind regards, Alex

    Hi, Is there a way to display the upper EICAS on the lower MFD or vice versa? I was able to do this on the 744F using the captains side switching panel. If you fail the upper EICAS on the 777 it will display on the MFD. Unfortunately you are unable to select any of the systems or checklist displays on the MFD. Regards

I need to turn off those first, then it works, the only off then turn on again after take off, otherwise I can not start. After take off I keep the back and then by the autopilot automatically assigned to the thrust. SRY because this post was posted 3 time... if i want to save this post i've become an Error... 2 of this Posts can be deleted!
