Hi, just a couple of screenshots of a modified panel & VC for lco26's beautiful new ec120. I've used Antti's ec130 gauge set to replace the default gauges & add a working engine management gauge.Happy landingsLPXO

After two days of crashing and trying again, I've mastered several different auto-rotation techniques. And they're even getting quite consistant!I've been up to 1000' agl in a forward auto-rotation, where I begin at about 95 kias before killing the engine. Then lowering the collective (but not to fast), I maintain around 55-60 kias forward airspeed, until applying collective at the right altitude above the ground. This was tricky at first, because I'd flare about 20' too high and then drop when the rotor speed decayed. Now it get it perfect about every time. In FS2004, does anyone no and tweaks to make the rotor rmp more responsive. If you start the R-22 from dead stop it takes for ever to get the rotor up to speed. In the real helicopter this take not longer than a couple seconds. Also when shutting down it takes for ever to stop spining, so this leads me to believe that there is some setting that is incorrect. Any help would be appriciated.

I can't get this chopper in the air. I flew it once for about .2 hr but now it will not lift off. What is wrong? Any ideas? Don

I really don't have much experience with helicopters but is is normal for the R-22 to have a really extreme left roll tendency? I'm finding that I need to keep a constant hard right pressure on the stick in order to keep it level. Anyone else seeing the same thing? Any real R-22 pilots able to comment on wehter this happens in the real one as well. Helo flying has to be really freaking hard if there's no way to trim something like that out...Ryan

I've downloaded (seemingly) 45 versions of the UH-1 and/or it's variants and keep running into one of two situations... the acft looks great but there's no virtual cockpit, or the other situation... there is a virtual cockpit but the acft is not gmax and looks horrible in 2004. Is there a Gmax UH-1 with a VC? (preferably a dvc of course *grin*)

Does anyone know if there is going to be a EC-145 released soon? I started working on it and failed miserably. The only part I have to do is the nose the rest of it is basically done. I tried adding the nose to a BK-117 I already had and changed the fins and engine to match the EC-145. Also I didn't get much of a response in the aircraft/panel forum on my other problem with the Bk-117. I am looking for someone to do or just give some guidance on a gagge/systems project. I really don't need the stuff to work completely. I just need a few switches and them to tie to the annuciator panel (when the GEN 1 switch is off the GEN 1 light is on). Hi,I'm in the process of transferring all of my FS2K2 stuff from my old Dell (Win98) to my new Dell (XPS). What a difference, but I'll save that for another post! :) Here's the question: When I'm flying Anti's Aerospatial in the autopilot mode, I can't control the throttle. When I exit the autopilot, the bird stays stuck in a fixed throttle position that I didn't set. In other words, before I enter autopilot, I can control the throttle just fine (new joystick, MS FF2) but after, no good. This doesn't occur on the old Win98 system. Just wanted to let fellow rotorheads know that I just posted two, three part sequences to the Screenshots Forum, which follow Metro helicopters pilots as they engage in air taxi ops in the NY/NJ metro area. Hi everyone, I have a question for the users of Antti's EC130. Recently I have taken an interest into flying helicopters in flightsim and I have my eye on the EC130 by Antti and the recently released EC120 Colibri. So far I haven't been able to fly the EC130 because of the well known crash problem it has had and quite frankly it's p*%#ing me off. Has anyone found a way to get around this problem to make the heli usable, because I would like to put the VEMD in the EC120 but I don't want all the probems that go with it.Up to this point I have had a crash in the following file for FS2002:ntdll.dllec130.gauDoes anyone know what I can do to stop this?ThanksNick :-abduct

I saw in one of the other forums that the NDA has been lifted for beta testers. So, if any beta testers are reading this, it sure would be nice to hear how the R22 "is". I'm crossing my fingers that the flight dynamics have been improved - e.g. that pedal input would be *required* on liftoff, that the autorotative modeling is better, etc.Thanks,Dave Blevins
