Hi guys,I didn't get much attention in the other forums, but anyways, here is a screeny of the new effect for you helicopter guys.I'm still trying to figure out if it's possible to increase the altitude at which the effect occurs, but all in all I'm quite fond of what I have now. Is it possible with either the default helicopters (or any other) to use autopilot?Or at least set the a/c to maintain level and heading by some means ?(For long distances -it would make life easier).This is for FS2002 and FS2004Dave

Sometimes when I start the Dauphin, I can't get the rotors to spin up. I'm pretty sure that I'm following the start sequence correctly, that is, batteries>inverters>generators>fuel pumps>throttles just out of detent>start button>ground idle. When I move to flight and then apply throttle, no go. An I missing a switch/sequence or something? (the blades are rotating indicating that the engines have been started)Thanks,Mark

For some reason I've been under the impression that this a/c is not FS2004 compatible, but I read something today that indicates that it is. In order to save me some testing effort, is it? Thanks,Dave Blevins

I was watching the movie 'Speed' this weekend on cable, and I saw the awesome MD 520 heli in the main chase scenes, and had to get the package I found on simviation.com.I'm banging my head against the wall now looking for an appropriate panel & sounds. Hello,I do use the effects made by Mark Luzzi in FS9 and I like it.One question : is it possible to lower the level of the spray?As you see on the attached screen shots the level of the spray is too high , it is in the middel of the aircraft and it disapears as soon as the heli does not touch the water anymore.Any assistance possible?I did mail Mark but he not available for the coming months.Thanks in advance

I downloaded the updated Gazelle as well as Gonzalez's 403 sounds. I get spool down, but no spool up sounds. Engine is just on when I strat up sequence. Any ideas?Thanks

Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to heli's. I can land and sort of hover. I've been practicing at Barking Sands on Kauai (I wish I was there for real!). I've tried to make several flight recordings to evaluate my progress. During the recording i can take off, hover and land. I even sit there recording for several seconds after I land, but, when I replay the tape it always shows me crashing a second after I land. Is there a seperate crash detection setting for the video mode? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for any help in advance!Art CollinsColorado

Hi folksHere is a sneak preview of my new HUD HELIHUD04. http://members.rogers.com/shanley0620/Hud%...structions.htmlIt has taken about 6 weeks and a couple of hundred hours of constant work to get it almost ready to release.I have really concentrated on making it a HUD that helps student pilots learn to hover. I have a 15 year old son, and he and his friends are generation VIDEO. However, one of his buddies was able to hover ( not too badly at all) the Bell206 using this HUD within 20 minutes of sitting in front of the computer. That convinced me I was on the right track.So take a peek, and, if all goes well it will be released this weekend. Some minor tweaks yet to do …

Has anyone gotten this to work in FS9? I got it at hovercontrol but the textures will not appear (the helio is white and the VR is trashed). The install will not allow one to select the location of FS (or even the version!). Therefore I had to copy the entire installation over to my actual FS9 directory.Any ideas??

Has anyone been able to get the rotor wash effect to work in fs9? I tried using the fx_rtr_wtr.fx file that worked so well in 2k2 but nada in fs9. Dirt works fine.Thnx,John
