Whenever I try to use the snorkel to pick up water(both of them), I follow all the directions and yet no water is pumped up into the take, the meter stays at the same and no weight is added to the external load. Whats wrong?ThanksRyan

I did a web search for some S-51 sounds and didn't see anything. Does anyone have a recommendation on where to get some reasonably realistic sounds for this bird? I'm tired of hearing a turbine engine in a rotary piston-powered helo...thx,Dave Blevins

The first Ketchikan Fly-In was a big success. Cougar Mountain Helicopters and BFU teamed up to make it a great event. Thanks to all the 'rotorheads' who turned out for the event. The fixed wingers outnumbered us, but the helicopter crowd stuck together and went roof hopping!!!We hope to see more 'rotorheads' at future fly-ins.....Three cheers to all who turned out......:-beerchug

Helifolk seem my sort, and I am determined to grasp that darned default (sluggish) Jet Ranger. I need proficiency to take tests.I've used Hoversafe's tutorials, Hovercontrol's tutorials, joined VATSIM, installed Squawkbox, SBHost, Whazzup, RogerWilco, and it all seems to like me and my computer. I have no trouble connecting and such.Nonetheless, I don't seem to have anybody to play with and can't join in all the reindeer games. :-( What I'd like to do first, is eavesdrop within VATSIM to get a feel for the place before making a fool of myself on a short hop. I am a real-world SEL pilot but I have a long-expired medical with no plans to renew because of physical disability…

PBTours is currently recruiting new rotary pilots and instructors. This is a great opportunity with chance of promotion. No rotary experience is needed, as we train all of our pilots to the highest standard. This is a great opportunity for fixed-wing pilots looking for a new experience, and to learn new skills. To sign up, visit: www.pacific-blue.cjb.net
