If Hawaii is the big deal with MS Flight, surely we should be comparing like for like with what we have? FSX Mega Hawaii, looks good to me ... I know I'm going against the grain again here, but I've honestly not seen an honest screen shot from MS about Flight that dropped my jaw yet ... and I'm ignoring the famous FSX DX10 screenie and some of the cherry picked ones from MS recently ... they have lied before and cant be trusted IMHO. It goes without saying that everything we have seen so far about the new MS Flight seems like they are making it up as they go along, the fake battleship close up, concentrating on Hawaii only ?) I was really impressed with Webisode 4, which gave us a much longer look at how the sim actually flies. Wondering what people thought of the flight model, from what we can see.

Just thinking that Flight might have both the Professional and Standard versions that we have seen in the past. If MS took this route, what do you think should be included with the Professional version that would not be in the Standard version. Really curious to know people's thoughts in light of the Marketplace discussions too. Maybe the Marketplace would have some benefits for MS Flight Professional users.

Aerosoft announced they would convert and develop products for X-Plane, as MS Flight may not fit their expectations...I found this on simFlight.com. Don't know what to make of it, would be disappointing to have quality software designers bailing on Flight. As i will probably buy both, not so much a problem i guess.Steve

In other games on the Windows LIVE platform, you can be given achievements for certain feats that you achieve in the game, would this work in Flight? Would you want this to be a feature of the game? Please share your thoughts. I myself, would love this to be added. If I managed to e.g. land a MD-11 safely, that encountered a total hydraulics failure, losing most control of the vertical and horizontal movement of the plane. I would totally want to be rewarded for that, and be something that I could show off to my friends. Or even if I managed to safely ditch my A320 in the Hudson after losing all engines shortly after taking off from La Guardia due to a bird strike I thin…

I start this thread to propose a new feature that i ll see very useful for Microsoft Flight.I ll be happy if in Flight there will be a new chance to use a simil XBOX Live system for trace a career of a sim pilot. I hope that with MS Flight comes a built in ability to fly online using peer-to-peer on VATSIM or alike. Without the need for a addon to the game. It could mean that the game has less chance of crashes and so on. Especially so since those online networks are the things keeping the game alive. This would also be great with a store system that allowed you to purchase aircraft to stop pirating. I can't wait for this. The potential is huge.

Hi there,Knowing MS Devs are active here, I hope y'all don't mind me making request on behalf of myself as a licensed deaf pilot, as well as all other deaf users. While the missions were captioned wonderfully in FSX, the flight lessons have never been captioned. Could you please look into getting all the lessons and any other parts involving speech captioned?Thank you :)

I was just reading other posts in this forum, talking of disappearing, too good to be true screen shots. My mind went back to the magic screenies from the FSX pre-release days.I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed it, but I've seen the magic screenies in FSX ... take a look at the reflections on the push back tugs. (They are there in Acceleration, anyway.)

I have always had this idea that the next version of flight simulator would have an option (default will use scenery on disk) to use satellite imagery (probably from Bing) to populate areas of the world and to generate trees and buildings based upon that imagery. This already exists using 3rd party tools including TileProxy for FSX and also the technology for objects for tree placement was implemented into their 3D Bing maps. This looks to be less likely now viewing the screenshots, but im not complaining as it does look like a nice upgrade regardless. If the trees are now swaying in the wind what else can we expect to see from the scenery, moving water in rivers and waterfalls, more animation at airports like hangar doors, fuel trucks that attach to aircraft. How about snow on the ground.It's all eye candy I know but it does look nice.

Ok, I have been thinking about Fight, and there is one major issue that has been present with every MSFS version previous.... THE AIRPORT NIGHT ENVIRONMENT. Like how the airport lights light up the area, and how buildings and especially aircraft reflect them. Observe:Reality:FSX:Lets hope that Flight fixes this.
