Given the updated folder structure, could anyone confirm if we need to wait for new installers with 2.5 (ORBX, FSGlobal, etc.)?

I cant seem to get the traffic to show up,I installed using the updated Estonia migration tool,I manually inserted the entry into sim objects, [Entry.0] Path=SimObjects\Airplanes [Entry.1] Path=SimObjects\Rotorcraft [Entry.2] Path=SimObjects\GroundVehicles [Entry.3] Path=SimObjects\Boats [Entry.4] Path=SimObjects\Animals [Entry.5] Path=SimObjects\Misc [Entry.6] Path=SimObjects\Submersible [Entry.7] Path=SimObjects\Weapons [Entry.8] Path=SimObjects\Countermeasures [Entry.9] Path=SimObjects\My Traffic\Aircraft Is this correct? I'm having a wired issue with 2.5 and Gsx and EZDOC. EZDOC works fine until I request pushback the none of my hot keys to change views work. If I pull up the EZDOC studio I can change the views by clicking on my preset cameras. Any ideas?

Dear P3D users, I have an issue that I don't know how to solve with P3D 2.5. Whenever I switch tasks, for example PFPX, then switch back, P3D freezes for about 15 seconds. I was in full screen mode (ALT+ENTER) and was flying the PMDG 777-300ER I have already tried placing the correct UIAutomationcore.dll into the P3D directory. Is there anything else I can do to solve this issue? Thanks in advance

Is it just my imagination, or is the development and the updating of products for P3D V2 by the various developers slowing down? I hope I'm wrong, but it just seems that way of late. They all sure jumped on FSX SE pronto, but P3D V2 updating seems in a bit of limbo or lethargy. Any thoughts out there? Lee :unsure:

hey guys I am experiencing some flashing lines /squares/triangles...at any location with any aircraft time or weather. If you have purchased PNG and are flying in and around Papua you might be interested in watching episodes from a TV series called 'The Worst Place to be a Pilot'. Just Google 'The Worst Place to be a Pilot' and you can watch the 47-48 minute episodes on U-Tube. Some really great flying scenes. I have no idea where this series is being aired. Not un the US that I know of. But I watched the first episode last night after being steered to it by a friend. Exciting stuff. Noel

I've been giving a good looksy after my 2.5 install and just noticed that custom library objects, like those seen in cities, ball parks, etc are not producing any shadows but autogen is. Dang if I can't remember...is that how its always been? Have everything possible "checked" to produce shadows. Check out a built up default city. Just checked New York City, Empire State Building - no, Pan-AM building- no, but the Statue of Liberty -yes(?). Downtown San Diego - no, downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico - no. What are you guys seeing?

hi guys, hope you are well i have installed the P3D v2.5 with FTX GLOBAL 1.30,FTX Vector 1.20 and the latest supported libraries.... the cars seem rolling into the grass, no roads.... the cars run and moved normally but without roads.... could anyone help please ????????

Could someone please do a 'hand hold' to show me step by step how to do a manual drag and drop from FSX to P3D? What do you have to do, to install a working ACCU-Feel installation in P3D v2.2 Thanks in advance.... Mitch

I'm getting a bit annoyed with messing up landings in the iFly 737 after a 2-6 hour flight. There is a product that will allow you to save an approach and do it again with resetting the whole scenario (training aid). I have searched for it this morning but all I come up with is noise. Can anyone help me with the name of this program? It was heavily advertised a few months ago.

Hi everybody , does someone know where i could find the GTNPCTrainerLite_2003.exe because it's not available anymore on the garmin website (only version 5.00 there) and it's needed in order to use the GTN 750 from flight1 (v5.00 not compatible yet) , thanks .

Obviously this is a question/issue for the LM developers, but I wondered if perhaps the actual simple flight simulation calculations for AI and the ATC logic for ground taxi and air flight plan rules could be moved out of the main CPU that currently is max busy rendering the 3D scene along with the GPU. It would seem that these calculations would be somewhat asynchronous from the main thread - although it might induce some frame stepping if you are close to the AI object at high speeds (formation flying). I know by actually adding 30 to 50 static aircraft to my airports, that the additional graphics load is not chiefly responsible for the fairly extreme FPS penalty for h…

hey i have this situation where i get blue and black in the scenery then i hear chimes guessing vas usage is high. I have a i3770k with 12gm ram windows 7 but no video card. I use the onboard hd4000 video from my intel processor. Could it be i am a the limit of my video card. I just order a EVGA GTX 970 ftw+ video card to put in the system. Other question is when flying out FSDREAMTEAM KLAX there is land where the ocean should be. I go in scenery library and uncheck one of the vector scenery and that seems to but the ocean back. Is there something worng with my setup?

Since installing Prepar3D ver. 2.5 the canopy reflectivity seen externally has changed dramatically. The F-22 and F-35 used to have nice reflective canopies (diffuse alpha) but now have next to none. I have also noticed this on Dino’s MB-326, aerosoft’s F-14, M2M’s Mirage 2000 etc. Why is this? Also I have seen on aircraft textures themselves next to no reflectivity, especially on the P-38s in bare metal finish. Any clues? Can anyone running v. 2.5 report similar issues? Is there a reason and solution to this? Best regards Dag
