Does anyone have any insight into when Real Air are going to release their multi engine aircraft for P3D? The website says in the coming weeks since the first of the year. I am just curious if anyone has any insider info. Can't wait!

I stumbled upon this find tonight ... I'm definitely NOT making any revelations here but I thought it important to share my experience. As some of you know I had just finished a new PC build and had installed P3D v2.5.12942.0 -- it was working extremely well, smooth as butter with high graphic settings at 3840 x 2160 ... all good. So I download the full v2.5.12943.0 (call it 12943) from my account page and proceeded to uninstall v2.5.12942.0 (call it 12942). To this point I had never tested the 12943 build. I wiped out the related folders to ensure all was gone. Installed the new 12943 and set the graphics settings the same as 12942. I select the same location…

I've been trying to download the vector 120 patch at FTX and each time I try ... I can only get so far and I get unknown server errors or can't find server. I have tried several times and the problem is it won't resume where it leaves off it will start all over again and it take me about 8 hours to download it with the downloader which I have to use otherwise I won't be able to open the files. Once I had 80% of the files before it stopped on me claiming unknown server and server error. Anyone else having this problem?

I have looked at kostas site on setting up proexp and when I look at P3D it's showing around 2647000 kb and rex showing around 500000kb ASN coming in at 570000kb ezdok at 271000kb do I just add that all together even though rex and ASN are on separate drive from P3d?

Hi everyone i permanently switch to prepar3d . I am loving the performance with prepar3d . I am currently only having one problem with my Saitek Rudder Pedals. I notice from default it seem to work fine with prepar3d without FSUIPC. My problem is that when using Aerosoft A320 the rudder doesn't seem to be turning completely to the right or left. I tried to calibrating the rudder pedals, but that didn't help. Does anyone know how to solve this problem , or by any chance have a guide that explains how to get them working using FSUIPC?

Hi, I never had any luck using the slew function in FSX and P3D using EZDOK. Anyone who can provide a method so i can explore the airports without having to load BOB (does he work in P3D btw ?) Thanks Michael Moe

Hello everyone I am pretty sure the Migration tool is broken once the v2.5 hot fix has been applied Installed VFR photographic scenery ... seems to install ok but as soon as I run the scenery library within P3D I get scenery config errors and the VFR scenery is not listed there. Anyone else seen this and is there fix on the way? Thanks in advance .... Paul

Hi, I'm in the process of moving from FSX to P3D V2.5 and beyond. Unlike the FSX forum, P3D does not have a separate forum for Simconnect, where specific questions about this topic can be addressed. I currently have a network PC setup for FSX, but I'm about to replace this PC with a faster PC, and want to setup Active Sky, PFPX, and ProATC for P3D, but I'm not quite sure how to link to P3D? It appears that I will have to install the FSX versions of simconnect (which there are three) on this network PC, and possibly the P3D ESP version of simconnect. From what I can tell, most developers are still using the legacy FSX simconnect version to interface to P3D, but…

Having recently reread Samuel Hynes' book Flights of Passage ( great book, but what a dreadful title ) I am considering Vertigo's TBF/M but would appreciate help with the following: Firstly, does it work in P3DV2.5 ? I'm about to upgrade from V2.4. Secondly, are there any problems with the aircraft itself i.e. external model, VC, FDE and so on. Any help gratefully received.

Hi all, Well I got a new graphics card (EVGA GTX970 FTW 4GB RAM). I did a test flight last night and was somewhat surprised at the results. I flew aerosoft airbus a318 from new York to London city airport. My video memory usage went from 1.5gb to 2.9gb by the end of the flight. Performance over the ocean and high altitude over land was stead 25fps locked at 26. The problem is that when I came in for landing into London city my fps dropped right back as low as 15 on approach with very little clouds displayed. All settings are stock settings on p3d eg scenery all set to standard or normal settings. Just wondering how I would go about tweaking p3d to run …

I'm just getting back into flight simming after laying off for a couple of years. I built a new PC in January and I'm trying to load FSX up with improvements that my old PC couldn't run. I just installed the Orbx FTX Global Base and FTX Global Vector. These are good improvements over the default scenery but they do nothing to correct the dumb-looking roads. Here is a screen shot of Venice Blvd. in Los Angeles: As you can see, the divided road appears to run right over the tops of people's houses. I understand this is an inherent limitation of FSX. Hey, I am trying to figure out on how the VAS jumps like 600-700MB when nearing a default airport in P3D 2.5 (hotfix applied). I have building autogen set to normal, vegetation to Dense. Road/Boat/AI traffic is all set to 10% (GA Traffic is set to 0). Just flying in Global+Vector from FSDT CYVR to P3D's KEDW (This is a desert area), I was expecting to be able to land with VAS hovering at 3.2GB. As soon as KEDW approaches, VAS jumps to 3.9GB-4GB. I even flew the aircraft with VC view only (entire flight). Why does the 777 take so much VAS? at this point - it is useless to use this payware craft. Hello Orbx users, I don't see any updated docs for Prepar3D version 2 on suggested slider settings. FSX and Prepar3D V.1 are quite similar, but as everyone knows, Prepar3D V2 is a different beast altogether. I know I probably need to update my graphics card but anyone with similar setup?

Hi Guys, i'm very frustrated. I have a bad peformance in P3d 2.5. I reinstalled my pc yesterday and installed p3d 2.5 today. I only use the pmdg 777 and a319 as addons. Other addons like orbx or rex i have not yet installed But in the default graphic settings i get only 18 fps in the 777 at the default airport. That's scarry. My system: P3D 2.5 Nvidia 770 GTX 4GB with Driver 347.25 and powermanagement mode "maximum power" i5 2500k 16 GB Ram 500 GB SSD Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit I hope someone has an similar system and can report how the peformance is or has some other tipps. For quite some time I've been using a Saitek trim wheel for most of my aircraft, but for the ones that use a stick instead of a yoke, I'm using a switch on my Saitek X-52pro. The trim wheel is connected through the P3D native control setup, while the Saitek X-52 switch is connected through FSUIPC. This always worked just fine, but since a couple of days, the elevator trim in my aircraft keeps jumping back to neutral position, every time I adjust it from the X-52. Does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix this?

Hi I can't seem to get ezdok working in 2.5. Everything works apart from the dynamic head movement. When I click on an empty entry under the virtual cockpit section of the tool I have dynamic head movement. When I save the camera and give it a name the head movement stops working for that view. Strange. I have selected the head movement options and everything else works as expected I.e. I see the camera view but just without the head movements. At the moment I have to position the camera and not save the camera so I keep the movement. Anyone else seeing this in 2.5? I installed ezdok as admin, installed 1.7 and then 1.85.
