Hi, does anybody know if Taxi2Gate MMMX works in Prepar3d v2.5? Does the night lighting work? I'm asking because it's currently on sale at Simmarket and it looks stunning in FSX. But I don't want to buy and then find out that it doesn't work in P3D v2. And yes, I know that it doesn't have a native P3D installer, but other FSX versions of Taxi2Gate sceneries work fine in P3D.

i just got the Palm Springs from orbx. Fantastic looking too! It has been quite challenging landing into Palm Springs since there is no ILS just the rnav. What is the best way to land into kpsp with the ngx? I use the auto pilot the whole way till I get to the 2900 ft mark then hand fly all the way down. It seems like I am always just a bit too high or low. Maybe some more practice. What's your way of landing at Palm Springs with a 737? Thanks

i got some extra cash and just wondering what is a better airport to purchase? I already have the northern cal and central Rockies installed. I ususaly fly the pmdg 737 so that will be fun flying into Palm Springs. And I fly prop plans once in a while so Lake Tahoe would be nice for that. Which airport is better quality? Seems like Palm Springs you get more square miles of coverage. Thanks I also I am upgrading to a 970 Gtx this week. I will have an i7 930 OCed to 4.0. 12 gb of ram. Do ya guys also use the bufferpool to 0 tweak? Thanks guys

The way P3D places roads and power lines into the scenery has always been quite a point of irritation for me, so since I've been using FTX Global Vector, I always deactivate both. I rather have too few roads and the suggestion that is left from the structure of the scenery, than to look at those awful, misplaced roads. Lately I've been building on the PNW region with FTX scenery, but Vector doesnt remove roads and power lines there. What can I do to make Vector complete the job I have it perform and indeed remove roads and power lines globally?

I think its time that I invest in a solid traffic addon for AI models for Prepar3d, and I am looking for opinions. I only fly online, and have never really cared for the built in AI traffic. I use VATSIM's vpilot to connect to the network and would like traffic on the network to properly be visible to myself.

Hi, was trying to do a night flight in the Carenado b1900d and noticed that the 2 GPS panel (as well as the others) are all dark (meaning the buttons aren't back lit so I know what I'm pressing. The vc view of the gps panel does have the buttons backlit. I have the same issue with the FS Captain ACARS panel. They seem lit up when I view them in the default King Air plane. I posted this in the Carenado forum but figured I would post here too. I have a latest Nvidia driver, gtx 970. Thanks

I'm using IVAO for the first time in ages with Prepared 2.4. The weather coming from IVAO is all over the place. My Airbus A320 (Aerosoft) is climbing and descending like a roller coaster! Is there a way to use ActiveSky Next rather than the IVAO weather? Is that even allowed when flying online?

Hello! I've been experiencing the following issue: Clean Windows 8.1 install followed by installation of P3D V2 gets me the best stutter-free experience within the simulator. Reinstallation of P3D V2 without prior clean installation of Windows brings noticeable stutters in sim. Does anyone know why this is happening and what could be the solution so as to avoid the headache of re-installing Windows ? I do remove all folders of the uninstalled version of P3D as per LM instructions. Many thanks!

Hi all, Well I got a new graphics card (EVGA GTX970 FTW 4GB RAM). I did a test flight last night and was somewhat surprised at the results. I flew aerosoft airbus a318 from new York to London city airport. My video memory usage went from 1.5gb to 2.9gb by the end of the flight. Performance over the ocean and high altitude over land was stead 25fps locked at 26. The problem is that when I came in for landing into London city my fps dropped right back as low as 15 on approach with very little clouds displayed. All settings are stock settings on p3d eg scenery all set to standard or normal settings. Just wondering how I would go about tweaking p3d to run …

When disconnecting the Autopilot while on short final (in APP mode), I loose complete control... more specifically, the aircraft rolls violently or shoots straight up into the air. I am unable to regain control for about 15 seconds or so, which is usually too late. Just to clarify, the autopilot DOES disengage completely, but... The second I disengage it, the aircraft goes bonkers and will not respond to any manual control input for 10 to 15 seconds. I understand that support for P3d is not guaranteed, but when you offer a separate installer for it, that's a fair indication to your buyers that it will indeed function properly in P3d. Some users are reporting that FSUIPC 4.939c (Peter says that it is even compatible with p3d 2.5.12944) is not working with v2.5 + hotfix1 (build 12943). I have the 2.5 version installed, but it seems too laggy to be enjoyable... I have a good computer (i4790 (at 4.4 Gb), Maximus VII Hero motherboard, Radeon R9 270, two 2400 Mhz memories, water cooler), but it still laggy, even when FPS is over 60....

Hi everyone I just downloaded ftx global vector v1.20 full installer and want to uninstall vector v1.5 to install the new one. There is no uninstaller for the program in its installation folder.How can do that?

Hello i just reformatted and installed 2.5 clean and before i did this i had p3d and fsx both working. I had vpilot working fine with p3d and fsx via network before. Now i cant get it to work, i have it configured the same way but have a feeling the problem is sim connect. I even installed the old fsx sdks to see if they would work, but no go.

I have received some good feedback on this forum concerning my search for a new CPU. However, I only fly the Carenado sr22, but I get stutters...I get smooth flying when using default planes. Can anyone fly the Carenado Sr22 / TBM 850 / Phenom 100 stutter free? If so, what is your CPU and GPU hardware?

I am looking into moving from Fsx to Prepar3d and am looking at what I may lose as far as aircraft. I have the Fsx version of the A2A 172 and noticed that they sale a P3D version. Can I use the Fsx version?

Which developers have native moving jetways apart from flight beam and fsdt? As stupid as it sounds, I won't buy a scenery unless it has moving jetways. Thanks !

Does anyone have the default p3d v2.5 hotfix1 hdr file? I messed mine up and didnt have a backup.

ES Alderney & Guernsey loaded into P3D 2.4 OK, but the installer can't find the Scenery Config in P3D 2.5. As it is an auto installer I have no idea as to how to point it to the config. Any computer expert out there able to help? My computer skills are very limited. Ken
