I actually had not updated the Dash8 to latest 2.5 standard but it seems to work before the hotfix and now trying to load a flight i have no sounds in VC. Anyone else ? Updating to latest patch did not help either. There is somone who said to look at the MJC84.ini but it seems ok Thanks Michael Moe

For most of us I think using the flight selection menus (select vehicle/weather/time & season/place) will cause OOMs in P3D v2. I am often advised that if I want to make a tube liner flight from one busy area to antoher, I had better start from a saved flight, in order to avoid using these selction menus. Word is that this is now fixed in version 2.5. Is this indeed the case? Can a few folks comment on this?

People, I apologize if the post title is a little harsh. However, being spoiled by Majestic, PMDG, and of course DCS, is there anyone out there that knows of a solid, fully functional F-16A or F-16C? It is not the Aerosoft one, nor is it IRIS's family truckster either. BMS Falcon for Falcon 4.0 is the only sim F-16 that was fully functional. However, it is really dated and my rig makes a mess of the old graphics. It is no longer playable for me. Considering this aircraft, since the PMDG 747 v2 for P3d is in the distant future. However, have read in several reviews, because of complexity of Virtual Cockpit, this bird has performance issues in VC mode causing shudders even on hi end systems. Anyone have experience with this with P3d...

I am having problems installing the hot fix for version 2.5. I have had Version 2.5 running just fine but when I try to install the hotfix I get this error message.; The program can't start because IP2lib.32dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. I not only reinstalled the program but downloaded the program and hotfix and reinstalled again and still getting the errors. Anyone know how to fix this. Thanks.

Hello everyone, I've updated P3D to 2.5 and installed IVAO (the latest version) but ı can't see IVAO in Addon Menu especially ı can't see any of my addons in addon menu except fsuipc.

Hello, I'm having two issues in P3D 2.5, I'm not sure if they're connected or not so I thought I should place them in one thread: 1) On occasion (usually within 10-15 minutes of loading up the sim), the time will change itself from whatever time I've set the sim to, to the current local time (my real life local time, regardless of whether I'm in my current real life time zone in the sim or not). I have it set so that the start-up menu defaults to my local time, but I'm not sure why it would be trying to change this in-sim without prompt from me? 2) The default ATC seems to take about 10 minutes to "catch-up" with the actual weather (I'm using ASN). Hi guy's, I'm just wondering if anybody else has expirienced extremely blurry ground textures with Orbx Scotland installed? I've had Orbx Global, Vector,OpenLC, FS2010mesh FTX, all North America, AusSP4, EUengland all patched up with very good crisp textures but yesterday I installed Orbx Scotland and it looks terrible extremely blurry, I am unable to make out roads and trees, I've tried flying in other regions that I have and none of them are blurry, lovely and crisp except for Scotland, does anyone have an idea, Its weird but it seems to much worse around dawn and dusk. Hi there do any one of you fine people know if I would use rex texture to spice up the taxiways , taxi signs and runways with the rex texture if the they allso overwrite the textures at my payware airports or do the airport texture have priority to the generic texture as I would like to make the sim look better over all but at the same time I don't wanna mesh up my payware addons , it takes for ever to correct if I ending up just trying in blind han have to reinstall them , I have quite alot by now so I'd rather not do that /Peter

Forgive me if this has already been answered but I can't find the answer. Does ORBX FTX Presently work in Prepar3d version 2.5 without tweaking. I want to try it along with vector but not if I have to do a lot of tweaking. Rather just wait for the ORBX update if needed. Thanks

List of the addons i use to set prepar3d (the actual sequence) : 1. ORBX - FTX Global 2. ORBX - FTX Vector 3. REX 4 + soft Clouds 4. Active Sky Next Question : Can i close everything after applying? except ASN obviously... For example, i start Global i apply the global scenery, i QUIT. I start Vector i apply and QUIT. I start REX4 apply theme and QUIT. I start ASN and i keep it in background. Then Start Prepar3d. Is this sequence ok? or? i have to keep Global+vector+Rex open on the background?

what files do i need to remove after p3d 2.5 is removed? thanks

Hello, I have recently reinstalled FS X two times because of a problem. I use a lot of add-ons with FS X and I think compatibility problems between these add-ons caused the trouble I have. When start a flight in FS X the airplane is placed a somewhat too low (so a little bit under the runway) causing it to crash immediately. I suspect it has something to do with the ORBX Alaska scenery that I installed a few months ago. Maybe it is incompatible with my Ultimate Traffic 2 (UT2) pack because I saw that the traffic airplanes on the ground also behaved strange and were being loaded slightly too low. Hi all. I'm making a switch from fsx to P3D. On fsx I've lock my frames to 20 and set vsync 1/3 of refresh rate, and I'm getting a smooth flight experience. I tried to do it on P3D, created a new profile for it, and selected prepar3d.exe. I did the changes then apply the settings and close N.I. But there's no difference on the sim. My frames are still unlimited and AA is not working. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

I know that since v2.5 the terrain.cfg file has a new path. My question: Is there still a terrain.cfg in the P3Dv2.5+ folder? If yes, what is it for?

i cant start p3d as i get a message saying "p3d cannot find default aircraft files, please reinstall p3d" i have tried everything to fix it apart from overwriting p3d with backup folders from Estonian migration tool, if i try this, could it work?
