I just installed P3Dv2.5 with the latest hotfixes applied and wanted to ask about the Estonian Migration Tool and when to use it. So far I've installed: FS Global Ultimate Europe/Africa ASN NGX FSUIPC Navigraph FMS Data Manager Still to be installed: FTX Global FTX Vector FTX OpenLC FS2Crew FSDT GSX Aivlasoft EFB PrecipitFX Lots of Aerosoft airports both old and new ones but also a couple of airports from UK2000, FlyTampa, Eiresim, D.Chircop, FSDT, RC-Design For the addons I already installed all went fine without EMT which of course was expected considering all those addons are P3Dv2-compatible but how about the rest of the addons I still have left to install? …

P3dv2.5 Nvidia drivers that works. I have not been following the driver threads as I have been quite satisfied with the driver I have. I am using 337.88 because when I updated to a newer driver I lost some of the airport lights so I reverted to the 337.88 and have used this driver for quite a while now. I have never had problems with this but as of last week I am finding that when I want to join in on a BF4 game I am being told that I need to be on 344.52 or newer driver to support BF4. I would like to know what driver you all are using with Win7, I have both a Titan and a 780 video card. Thank you Nick

Good day... I have recently removed P3D V2.4 & installed P3D V2.5. How is it possible to determine that when installing a REX texture set that successful installation has occurred? I have opened up my scenery file in P3D V2.5 but the cloud textures remain the original textures which were installed with P3D V2.5 based on the file information i.e the file date does not change. Are my REX 4 textures being installed? There is no error in REX 4 when installing the set and the message is displayed as 'successfull' although I doubt the textures have been installed. Any ideas how to check or confirm? Regards.

Hi all. If I remember correctly, I think there was a utility that could scan and check for the amount of AFCAD files installed for a particular airport in FSX or FS 9. I cant remember what it was called. Does such a utility exist for P3D? what is the name and where would I obtain same? I suspect that I am having a AFCAD conflict with my Ultimate terrain installation and an add on airport. so would like to find a way to check this. Thanks in advance.

Is this even possible or is this not modeled? I can't find a way to display a NAV2 bearing needle on the G1000, nor can I show DME for nav1 or 2. Lionheart's Acclaim is pretty sweet but seems really lite on the avionics.

Hi all, I've been using Andy Johnston's Ottawa scenery on FSX but it won't work on P3D 2.5 . Is there anyone out there that can post a link for a P3D version. That's the city I'm after not the airport. Thanks all

Hey Guys, DBS was my favourite camera addon for FSX, because it was so easy to use for the purpose of taking pictures from Custom angles quickly. Does anyone know how to make it work in P3D? Thanks in advance for your help gentlemen! Regards

I haven't simmed in a while. Been really busy and working a lot. Flying in real life kind of put a damper on how much I cared about booting up FSX/P3D. I'm about to start on my IFR rating and want to practice procedures. Plus I've just got that itch again. My last version was 2.3 maybe? I see we are up to 2.5. What major changes should I expect? Performance? New tweaks I need to know about? Have they fixed the water (always bugged me)? Anything else cool that's went on the past 4-5 months I should know? Any reason I should install FSX instead or have things progressed nicely? Thanks for any feedback.

I'm gonna give P3D a second spin now that the NGX is available in a P3D version and I was wondering what setup tutorial/guide you would recommend to get the best out of P3D and your hardware?

Hi Not really sure where to post this but as I use p3d now more than fsx I thought I would try it here I use EZdok for my camera views but I've noticed a difference in the zoom distances between the sims I use the pseudo full screen in P3d and full screen in fsx however the zoom in p3d is vastly more zoomed in. If I adjust in P3d to how I want. If I then run fsx the zoom is way out. I'm running the latest version of EZdok which picks up and runs on startup in P3d,I just have this pain of fixing the zoom before flying,is there a way to fix this? Thanks

15 minutes into an A2A Piper flight I get a 6025 error - trying to execute a zero instruction. It worked for about a month ok. Memory (8gb) at an expected level. No addons in use except for REX clouds and textures.

Yes it does. Bought it yesterday. Only small problem: The runway lighting doesn't work. However, if you know how to modify AFCAD files with ADE you can add the runway lighting yourself. That's what I did... Now everything works fine. By the way: It's a great scenery!

I've installed all the latest and relevant versions of the following software: - EZDoc - PMDG 777LRX - ASN - FTX Global - FSDreamTeam KLAX, CYVR.. - FlyTampa CYYZ I have many, many more scenery addons I'd like to begin installing, however, there are a couple of problems holding me up from using the simulator as my "daily" sim. So I like to organize my aircraft files pretty neatly in terms of not having a bunch of different developer names but having them listed under their actual Make/Model (i.e. A2A or Carenado changed to Cessna or Piper). I tried this a while back on a previous installation but I noticed it was randomly making my aircraft no longer show up in my list... I did this in FSX and it worked perfectly. The only changes I make are to the Make/Model names. Anyone know why it was making some of my aircraft disappear? Haven't tried it on my current installation - didn't want to start losing planes again. I'm using P3D 1.4.

Hi Guys Firstly I am new to flight in general but eager to learn. My problem is when I listen to ATIS at any airport its telling me to set my QNH to an altitude that I think is incorrect for the airport. For example ATIS at YSTW (Tamworth Australia) says to set QNH 1013 which puts me at an altitude of 1340 when on the ground? would I not crash is using ILS when landing with these settings. I am sure I'm not understanding something correctly hopefully you guys can help Thanks

It seems a must have addon, but i have rex 4 (so texture not needed) and i am wondering if asn worths its price just for weather depiction in offline mode. Can i download historical data for a certain period of time and run historical "continous" (not static but changing realistically based on historical trends) weather? If you are trying to compare weather add-ons or even just the results of moving the weather setting sliders then by changing a line in the cameras config file (cameras.cfg) located in the settings folder (same location as prepar3d.cfg) you can make the comparison easier. If you change the line from ShowWeather=no to ShowWeather=yes in the definition for the 'Top-Down' view you can go to that view (F12) and after zooming out a few times the current weather pattern is revealed in all its glory by showing the actual location of the cloud s…
