Hi everyone, For some reason my TIR is not working with 2,4 I have a fresh install of W7 64 with all updates installed, and a fresh install of P3D2.4. I have installed only Orbx Global and FSUIPC in P3D2.4. TIR works in its own configuration window when I assign setting etc, but when I start P3D it's dead. I have tried starting both TIR and P3D as administrator, which has been suggested as a fix, but with the same result. It is the first time I have experienced this in years, so stumped as to what might be the cause. Has anyone else come accross this? Cheers

Well after having a chat with my good friend Rick (VC10man) I decided to bite the bullet and purchase P3D 2.5. Currently downloading. I recently had to get a new HDD, so had to re install FSX for the first time in 4 years, and when I installed it, and started adding all my hundreds of addons, was flying around testing it, I came to the conclusion, that it did not look so good anymore. It felt like MS Train Simulator I just have a few questions, and the first one I will ask LM directly, but before I do, I thought I would ask here. 1: I was charged about $8 sales tax. I am running version 2.5 of P3D and installed Ultimate Traffic II using the latest version of the Migration Tool. After installation I set weekly and daily traffic density to 100% and clicked the update buttons. Under database management I selected all under UT2 daily and weekly official and selected save display changes for each. I then updated the time zone file to the latest available date. Under the Prepar3d.cfg I added the simobjects path line. When I start P3D I hear the Ultimate Traffic Initialized message and see a whole bunch of general aviation traffic but no airline traffic. I assume the answer is yes, but want to be sure before I install P3D. Does Prepar3D exist well on a computer with FSX installed? P3 D will be on its own hdd bit Ill want to install FSUIPC, ASN, etc. on P3D. Right now I have FSX running with MANY addons. I don't want to create a conflict in the registry or any place else. Just installed Prepar3d V2.5 and ASN shuts down. Anyone have ASN working in 2.5 and if so, how was it done?

Did anybody tried this new parameter "Enable Maxwell sample interleaving (MFAA)" in nVidia Inspector? I guess it's for the GTX970/980 GPUs. Spirit

I can not remember if scenery.cfg in 2.5 is in the same position of 2.4. I want to try installing FSGlobal 2010.

This is so weird. A quarter of an hour ago, I was flying the PMDG777-300ER on a long haul flight out of EBBR, and had reached cruise, then decided to save the flight. Prior to that I'd installed GSX. Now, when I try to re-start P3D, it shows up in the taskbar for a few seconds, then disappears. Anyone any idea what the hell is going on?

hi Guys hi , just bought v2.5 and want to add ivao traffic for vatsim , in the past i had to make a entry in the Simobject part in the cfg . I read that version 2.5 has it s own Simobjects .cfg but were can i find this Thanks , Gérard van Veldhoven

Hello everyone, Yesterday I purchased Prepar3D 2.5 and spent most of last night installing everything and tweaking some settings (thanks Rob for the settings on his website). So far the experience has been excellent, however I have a couple of questions. Firstly, I have a problem with ASN that I've never seen before. I get a message about ASN not being able to control the ambient weather conditions and it will now close. FYI, there appears to be a problem between Steve's GoFlight Interface Tool and the PMDG entries in the DLL.XML ... this has not been confirmed by Steve yet, but a quick solution (if you want to use GIT with other aircraft) is to disable the PMDG entry in the DLL.XML when using other aircraft and GIT. Hi Guys, i'm very frustrated. I have a bad peformance in P3d 2.5. I reinstalled my pc yesterday and installed p3d 2.5 today. I only use the pmdg 777 and a319 as addons. Other addons like orbx or rex i have not yet installed But in the default graphic settings i get only 18 fps in the 777 at the default airport. That's scarry. So after downloading for the entire day (I have slow line...), I was finally ready to install P3D. When installation is nearly complete, I get a windows failure message telling me something went wrong (the same one you will see with a CTD). Looking at the error log, it crashed because of a problem with MSVCR110.dll. The installation program itself does not close and it will complete the installation. When I try to launch P3D, I get an error message telling me that MSVCR110_CLR0400.dll is missing and the program closes. Anyone with some advice here? Hey, In Dec, 2014, I went to flightsimstore and bought all ftx global and regions minus the airports. Anyway how do you get access to the Official Orbx forum? I've create an account and entered one of my order numbers. When tried to log in, I get this message. Sorry, you don't have permission for that! Version 2.4 was my first version of p3d and after reading the forums many had reported a performance loss with v2.4. So has anyone noticed if 2.5 performs better than 2.4?

Howard (Rockcliffe) suggested that as I am getting great performance and results from P3D 2.0, I might share my settings in the hope that they may work for others. I offer these as merely "one man's settings" ; I have never believed in "FS Bibles" or the guru's that they are attributed to :wink: so these settings may do nothing on your system, but hopefully someone may find them of some use. Hello, I have doubt about installing the updated P3D 2.5 I uninstalled everything I had Aircrafts Sceneries Kept (the ones that doesn't matter if it's installed pointing the simulator, only on config): REX FSGRW The question is I install P3D in a different partition of Windows, so some installers don't show on Programs and Features to be uninstalled or the Startup Menu I uninstalled P3D 2.4, but it still have the folder and it still full of contents inside, like Addon Scenery What should I do? Delete everything? Thanks in advance!

Hi there, I'm trying to configure my P3D but I'm having a real hard time getting decent fps, my issue is that as I contently monitor my hardware (custom water cooling rig) I noticed my CPU and GPU utilization barely ever got higher than 35% for the GPU, 45% for the CPU and about 40% of my Ram was ever used. The CPU is an i5 3570k overclocked at 4.6Ghz The GPU is a GTX 970 4Gb Gamer edition from MSI. P3d doesn't even get its fan started no matter the fps. 16 GB of DDR3 ram (4x4) at 1600 MHz Note that the resolution is for an extra wide 34" Screen 3440x1440 Changing to lower resolutions such as regular 1440p & 1080p resolutions didn't have any impact on FPS…
