I mainly fly approaches (not airport to airport) from saved flights. Is it possible for ASN to create weather from a saved flight or a set airport (and surrounding area) without creating a flight plan from airport to airport?

I have Fs Tramp install in my Prepar 3d sinulator program, how ever am having a bit of trouble, figureing it out. In preparing a flight plan, how do you select the landing runway, at the arrival airport, in order for your plane to auto land on that runway, in FsTramp???? thanks

I've just purchased Mytraffic 6 for P3D. I would like to purchase an ATC program that will talk to me and my AI, in the air and on the ground, in the most realistic manner possible. Must haves, SIDs and STARS, correct phraseology, ability to know the weather provided by ASN. Any contenders?

Hello! I recently got P3D pro, and I can say that I've had some problems with it. (I understand that this problem is within the scenery, not P3D) I found several threads that were two years old, though I did not find an solution to this problem. For the 6th time now I have installed an Aerosoft payware scenery named "Bergen X". Every time I install it, it seems like it takes very little time to install, I just click next, next and then finish. I make sure to select P3D V2.X each time. I have installed it for FSX before, and I have never had a problem with it until now. When I launch my P3D after installing the scenery, I get an error message saying: "SCENERY.CFG …

Hello! I just bought my prepar3d pro licence, and I am slowly getting my FSX addons over to P3D. Though I have encountered a problem with active sky next for P3D. When I start up P3D after starting ASN, it tells me it is incompatible with my P3D version. It says it's designed for P3D 2.5.12942 to 2.5.12945. How can I check which version of P3D I am currently running, and when is ASN going to be compatible with this version of P3D? Thanks for answers! :-)

Since I started flying with VOR only again I am interested in how well I did when it comes to flying a straight as possible path to my destination. I now noticed the map in P3D doesn't show the route history at all anymore...! Anyone know what 8 can do to get it back or is this a bug? And yes, of course I enabled the right map options...

Has there been any further development on OOM management/prevention? After a month away from flightsim, I'm going to fire P3D up again and see how things go. Out of interest, what VAS utilities are people using to monitor this, if at all?

Hey there, I am looking to build a new rig around my 980ti and I was wondering where processors are for p3d. The jury around the web is that the higher clock speed of the 6700k is best for gaming, however, we still use a very cpu intensive sim. If I were to build a pc would having more cpu cores (intel 5820k) be more future proof and better for P3d over the skylake 6700k? Kind regards, Alex

Hello! After several times of trying to install Aerosoft Bergen X scenery to P3D, I have only had fails. I alwas get a message saying that the scenery in area.125 was not found when I start my P3D. The scenery shows up in the aersoft launcher, and I have used it for FSX berfore. I tried installing it 4 times, and it seemed to me like it used two secounds to install. I just clicked next a few times, scelected P3D V2.X. I tried to unistall it from my PC's control panel. First I uninstalled the FSX version, no problem. Though when I tried to uninstall the P3D version, it said that it was already uninstalled, or it was unable to find uninstall.cfg. I tried to install it a…

For some reason when I fire up P3D the 'Prepar 3D Professional' screen comes up and then my PC screen turns black until it is loaded and then I get weird graphics in my aircraft whereby the flight deck is mainly black and the flight deck dials are not as clear and visible as they should be. I am scratching my head trying to work out what the issue is and would really appreciate any help/assistance. I tried deleting the shaders file but that did not help. Many thanks in anticipation. Hello all. I am having problems with Ftx Global Vector configuration tool. I am trying to disable AEC on certain airports. I ran the "auto-run" option and got AEC disabled on certain airports but not others which I'm having problems with elevation issues. I tried to manually add airport code into the tool but it does not list these airports on either side; "AEC Enabled or AEC Disabled." KATL and EDDM are couple of the examples not listed in FTX Configurator. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank.

I always feel like buying scenery from Aerosoft is a crap shoot and this time I lost. Their EDDF lighting does not work in P3Dv2. Their support forum has a link to the developer, Simmershome, where there is a page full of download links for various products including EDDF. So far so good, then on clicking the download button I learn I must be logged in first and the entire site is in German. I'm stuck. Seems the developer's fix is to exclude the custom taxi, runway and vasi lighting in his product and allow the default P3D lighting to shine. Hi all, I have a spare 240gb SSD and was looking to create a cache drive for P3D so that my photo scenery files load faster. I have looked into this and it lost me in the jargon so may have to think again. I am on windows 10 now and liking it very much, although have not really noticed any difference. I was wondering if installing P3d onto the SSD will have any benefits whatsoever as at the moment it is on a SATA3 HD. Many thanks, Terry ​

I'd like to open new window with panel from C++ plugin (the same as from menu Views -> Instrument Panel -> Main Panel - > Normal). Is it possible ? I know this is a silly one buy stil want to ask..if prepar3d has HDR then why is the lighting so different than the xplane one especially night lighting..in xplane as you move on thr runway the center lights appear to dim out as you approach it like in real world.while in p3d they just stay as it as if it were just a texture

Hello all, I've been summing since 98 and am very content with my current fsx setup. However, I'm really interested in making the switch to prepar3d v2.5. I don't see a lot of people using hardware such as mine so here it goes. With ASN, pmdg 777 and ngx as well as add on airports, csn I expect solid performance with the cool graphical things like internal and external shadowing as well as some other newer things, on this setup? I7 2700k OCED to 4.6 680 gtx 8 gb ram I know it's not much, I just want some better lighting and shadowing as well as volumetric fog. Hope all is well.

Hello Guys, Well this is the thing, I am currently using MS-FSX+Acceleration, it runs quite well with some tweaks here and there, however, as you may know there is no way to run FSX flawlessly, now I am thinking about buying P3D, so, how good is it vs FSX?
