Hey guys, Just tried to open my P3D 2.5 and got this message: "Couldn't Load Language Resources Dll Error file: Error Code:0x7E Program is aborting!" Until yesterday everything was running fine, I didn't install anything or changed anything, the only thing could happen is Windows Update... I'm using Windows 10 Pro. How can I fix it?

OK so I installed Wilco Airbus Vol 2 with the FSX migration tool, then installed the A380 mega-merge, this works perfectly in fsx, but the clickspots in P3d do not work? Any Ideas? I'm thinking of getting the QW 146 while waiting for the NGX. Would be great with some input how good this aircraft performs in P3Dv2, does the virtual cockpit shadows work etc? Many thanks in advance!

Hi, I am running P3Dv2.5 + latest hotfix on a GTX980Ti (nVidia 353.62 driver), scenery ORBX Global, + Vector, + Alaska+Canada LC and would like to know if anybody has experienced flickering object shadows when flying above buildings and trees ? My video card is doing a perfect job, but flickering shadows are terrible. I believe, it may be anyhow driver related, but are clueless, what to do against. Thank you

I've been studying a stuttering problem with the RealAir Turbine Duke 2 at the new Orbx Eagle County KEGE. I've shut off all of the features of the airport, turned my sliders way down and still...major stutters at the airport. This only happens in P3D...not in FSX. In FSX I can run full sliders, all airport features turned on and get a smooth 40+ FPS. I also tested Flight1 Mustang in FSX...40-60 smooth. Carenado PA46 in P3D...30-50 smooth. Turbine Duke at other airports in P3D....KSTS, KSQL, KSEA, all with full sliders, heavy hitter but still pretty smooth. The stutters are big...not micro...a slideshow taking off. Don't know where else to post this, so I figured someone here would know. Looking at the VOR RWY 15 into EPWA, in the bottom left is where it shows the MDA. It shows 2 categories, C and D. Now, the part I'm confused about, the box with the MDA has 2 rows. The top row is labeled, "Ft-m/km" and the row below is "ft". And the numbers given are, "480-1.8" and below that "830". Now I'm assuming the 830 is the MDA. What does the 480-1.8 mean, I can't figure out what the ft-m/km indicates?

Hello again Avsim! I'm currently in the process of re-installing P3D 2.5 after experiencing some FSUIPC and RAAS related crashes. I've always installed my flight Sims on my only drive but never in the x86 folder. Should I continue doing this or is it OK to leave it in the default location the installer gives. Thanks,

Hello, I have been searching for a good CRJ addon for P3D, and my searching has come to no avail thus far. My first question I guess is, is there a way to get the default CRJ-700 from fsx into P3D without having fsx on your PC? I know there is a CRJ in P3D, yet it is only for AI purposes I guessed after I reviewed its .cfg files. My second question is more for aerosoft than the general public, and if you have any information it would be greatly appreciated (I've been waiting for this for 6 months now, LOL). When is/is the Aerosoft CRJ-700X ever going to get released? Also, is that aircraft even going to be compatible with P3D because the description on their website is sl…

Hi all, Reinstalling my entire PC as I was not particularly thrilled with the Win10 upgrade process. Seemed to bring in the odd crash in FSX that I never had in Win 7. I have clean installed Windows 10 Pro x64 now. Just wondering if this might then be the right time to "upgrade" from FSX to Prepar3d. Two questions I have: Which license is likely to be the best option for me to closely match the "FSX experience". I am the holder of a PPL. I presume the Professional License is going to be most suitable? Or is the Academic License sufficient? Most of my flight time in FSX has been logged on PMDG B738 NGX. I am not clear on what the differences are and yes, I have…

I just noticed that the logbook has not recorded a flight since 7/20/15. I have not made any changes or added anything to my installation. I have not even accepted my Windows 10 installation. I am running windows7 with all updates. Has anyone noticed this or know how to fix.

Hi everyone. Yesterday I was about to do a flight. I've never worried about OOM's because I haven't got one since that day. I took off and after 1 hour of flying, I've started descent. While descending and getting close to airport, I got an OOM. Only thing I looked was the Windows task manager and it said 3.90 memory is in use. So I've started to concern a bit and downloaded ProccessExplorer to see how much memory uses P3D. This time, I made a shorter flight. While I was at the gate, it was about 1.1 GB. I landed successfully without an OOM and the memory usage was 1.5GB for P3D and 3.6 in task manager. Only addons I use are just the departure and arrival ai…

Hi I just have a few questions if someone could please help me out before I purchase P3D as these items were not clear on the the P3D website. 1. Can I buy P3D from anywhere other than www.prepar3d.com? Or is this the only place to get it? (I've only bought products from Flightsim store before) 2. At the prepar3d.com website do I need to setup an account 1st? 3. At the prepar3d.com website, after purchase, can I download it as many times as I need (if my download fails or I lose my install for some reason). And how many times can it be downloaded? I was wondering if there was a way to program the chronometer mode in a lot of the planes to the stop watch. I know you can click on the buttons in the virtual cockpit to do this but didn't see where these buttons could be assigned to joystick buttons, etc. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Brett

Hello, I fired up P3D tonight and am having issues with textures not loading. The error messages are: Failed to load texture: GLASS_LM.BMP TRANSP_RAILING2.BMP TRANSP_RAILING2_LM.BMP GLOBALENV2.BMP METALPANEL2A.BMP METALPANEL2A_LM.BMP A search of the P3D folder did not turn up these files. Any idea what's going on here/how to fix it? The only thing I had done since P3D last worked properly was install OpenLC North America tonight. Thanks

Hi all, so after long time with FSX I decided to switch to P3D. Installation was fine, but whe I want to start the sim I get popup window saying: The program cant start because MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. Also get MSVCP100.dll with the same. Any ideas? I have fresh Win10 install. Thank you EDIT: installed runtime libraries and directx and its ok

I recently started fresh on a clean windows 10 x64 install.. at this point i just have fs 2010 and fs ultimate installed, along with some a2a planes and accu-sim.. rex 4 overdrive and rex texture direct are installed, but not active yet, as well as active sky next (though not running either).. so in just loading the default flight.. occasionally all i get is a black screen.. if i load a previously saved flight in the same session its the same. Often all i need do is close p3d and reopen then no black screen on the second try.. im running an nvidia 780ti with the 10.18.13.5362 driver. I looked around on here saw some references to this but not exactly the same.. I…

I have FTX Global and also LatinVFR KSNA John Wayne. I'd like to add LAX and the surrounding area as I'm doing a lot of VFR. Do I need to be concerned with compatibility between FTX Global and the LAX scenery addon. Everything seems to be working OK with the LatinVFR addon. Does the addon scenery overwrite the FTX Global scenery? I'm running Prepard 3D. It looks like aerosoft and fsdreamteam have addons for LAX and area but the fsdreamteam addon looks like it lacks full support for Prepard 3D. Any suggestions for LAX and area scenery please. Hello all of a sudden the throttle in every aircraft is stuck at idle. I have deleted all button and key presses as well as all throttle axis from the control panels. I have also unplugged my hardware and just tried to use the mouse and the throttle tries to move but moves right back to idle. Does anyone have any insight on this very frustrating issue thx lee

I have the Blue Sky Mine Productions BAe ATP installed in P3D (I am using it as an AI plane), but I am having a problem with what looks like a beacon light. In short, it is about fifty metres above the aircraft! Does anyone know if this light is part of the model? I have disabled the lights statements in the aircraft.cfg file, but it is still there. If anyone knows a way to get rid of it, I would be very grateful. No, not that grateful :wink:
