Fairly new to Prepare3d 2.5. Recently installed the Cattaneo T-45 and it seems to work well (windows 10, DX-11) - only problem is in starting where despite following the fairly simple procedures , the engine will spool but not ignite unless I use the "control + E" function. Wondering if I am screwing up or if anyone else has experienced this and found a work around. Thanks Warren (aspen31)

Hi Guys, Quick question rgd Flytampa Sydney. We have been flying the Milk run YMML -YSSY quiet a lot since flytampa released Sydney, Question is every time we are approaching Sydney There is always fireworks over the city , doesn't matter what date / day it is (Thought they were only New Year) Don't know if this happens in daylight hours as we have only flown in the evenings. The computer builders have stated there is nothing more they can do, the tests all passed 100% without errors and say that it must be a software related issue. It leaves me completely demoralised and I can't possibly see how I am going to sim on p3d again at this rate. Hello. On a new skylake build which has been built and tested with a retailer. I purchased the Carenado PA31 in late July and installed it in P3Dv2.4. Everything worked OK and I was pleased with the aircraft. I flew it several times over the next few weeks. I had delayed upgrading from 2.4 to P3Dv2.5 but decided to do so. Users on this site had recommended a clean install, so that's the way I decided to go. I uninstalled P3D2.4 and all of my add-ons. Then I installed v2.5, checked things out for awhile with everything default, then decided to re-install my scenery and a/c add-ons. I decided to try the OP=1 trick and got the result I expected, however EZDOK camera simply stopped working, i.e. it's menu does not show up in P3D at all. Once I return to OP=0, everything is back to normal. Has anyone encountered this issue in the circumstances that I described? Thanks Dmitriy

At all addon airports I've checked so far, I see that they're not properly lined up, or the airport details arent lined up with the airports, either way... My navigation does lead me to the start of the runway, on deviations there, but progressive taxi and taxiway signs and lights are out of position. Sign and lights are often right on the taxiways instead of at the side, and progressive taxi is visible besides the taxiways, instead of on them. Since this problem is not just a single airport, but all/most of them, this doesnt seem like something I have to look for with the addons themselves, but with the sim. Does anyone know what's going wrong here and what I could …

Lately I've been thinking about adding the NGX considering the forward support for that product as we enter the next chapter of P3D. I have the iFly, I really enjoy it. I know that it doesn't look as good, or sound as good, but I'm okay with that as I have the T7 from PMDG. I'm wondering though, systems wise and procedurally, am I missing out on too much to ignore? Please understand again if you care to contribute that I don't care about the textures.

Has anyone figured out how to rebuild the PFE database in P3D? I run the Makerwys utility in P3D but when I go through the process in PFE it says it can't find the FS9 or FSX installation folder.

Hi, Am finding myself looked at the Captain Sim 727 to use as a 727 F for FedEX. I had it for Fsx years ago and like most of there things they never fixed it 100%, but having looked at there new 2.6 version it seems they have "really" fixed it. So any feed back on it within P3D I would love to hear your thought if your using it.

Is anyone using ORBX YBCS? It says it's compatible with P3Dv 2. I just landed there and there were no runway lights or taxiway lights. Anyone else had this problem?

Looks like it could be 1-2 weeks away. Read this "I've done some pretty technical optimizations to this to take much more advantage of your GPU, so if you're running P3D in particular with a nice graphics card, you will get the best performance scenario." Its looks breath taking. IMO I think there the best out there for large airports. This looks like another level up again!.

I have been doing a complete reinstall of P3D and had a problem with the A2A Accusim update tool. It keeps saying install failed can not access system volume label. They are telling me that it's my install path. That is P:/ Does this mean I should have installed P:/ Prepar3d? If so can I change it without doing yet another reinstall?

This morning I went to fly my A320 on a VA flight, because now my problem with the blurries caused by Affinity mask being placed in my P3D CFG has been taken care of because I deleted it. I started P3d, and the first thing I noticed is that GSX did not load. Where it usually shows up in the list of add ons, it was not there. The only thing there was the add on manager. So I opened it and selected GSX and figured I was OK. I then flew a short flight, and I noticed the blurries again on approach. I landed, and opened the config file and guess was , Affinity Mask=14 was back like poltergeist. Now I am ready to throw my computer out the window, I am so angry. So…

Hello all, I'm a rare poster here but when I have posted with a question, I've always been incredibly appreciative of the support and assistance of the folks here. I'm back with another question, this one with regard to uninstalling ORBX products. I currently have ORBX Global, Vector, and Trees installed, along with several terrain corrections for FlightBeam airports. I've been using P3D (academic) for a few weeks and have only had problems with my Saitek Extreme 3D Pro losing its connection to the sim two times. The first time, disabling USB selective suspend solved the problem. However, my joystick still lost its connection randomly when I started P3D earlier today. I had 2 P3D sessions today before the problem occurred, and many more since I solved the problem last time. I tried reinstalling FSUIPC, making sure selective suspend was still disabled, deleting the cfg file, restarting my computer, and plugging the joystick into a different USB port, but the joystick still does not appear in the controls menu. How can I fix this?

I am experiencing OOM errors with the FSUIPC logger indicating more than 340 MB of memory remaining. The warning gongs don't even occur until you get down to 250 MB so this is a new one for me. I suspect Orbx scenery. I recently added FTX Ireland and England and starting running Orbx in the hybrid mode. The error has occured twice leaving the NAT approaching Ireland. I am going to turn hybrid off and go back to using Scenery Editor before each flight to customize the scenery list. Has anyone else experienced OOM errors with this much VAS remaining? Time to try multiple scenery.cfg files. I am going to be using the wonderful tool Scenery Config Editor. Absolutely a must have. Click and drag your layers around with ease, assign groups and even colors! I am starting a new thread on my problem, since the older thread is rather long and I want to make sure this is noticed. Ihope that is OK. You probably read the thread I started over a week ago on the sudden problems I had with blurries in P3D, especially on approach. Sometimes the blurries would not go away until after I landed. I tried every fix imaginable , new cfg, delete shaders, all kinds of FFTF settings, disabling scenery, nothing worked. Ok so I installed this a couple of nights ago. I have never had problems with Oom errors before this. I know it's not compatible with P3D but everything looks great and runs pretty good Fps wise. I use Active Sky next, Rex 4 Orbx Sak Orbx Open LC My Traffic 6 with Ga and airliners set at 20%. I moved my scenery and Autogen sliders to dense and my vegetation to dense. Still get Oom CTD. Also disabled photoreal scenery. Would like if some of you would post your settings for this addon. Thanks!

I have spent the last week installing P3D and a bunch of addon's and organizing everything on a new laptop. Runs GREAT!!! However, as of today, I am now all of a sudden getting CTD's - happens on EVERY startup within 5 minutes of starting the flight. Just a plain CTD with no errors. How do I troubleshoot this? What are common things to look for? Tried deleting the P3D.cfg file... didn't do any good. Help!

Good day fellow simmers, I am sure there is a topic for this somewhere, but I wasnt able to find it so I apologize if this has been answered. I installed WIN10 recently and generally speaking everything is going amazingly well except for one thing. The texture loading for the ground loads insanely slowly especially when on approach. It doesn't matter if it is a default airport or a FSDT airport. The ground is fuzzy and the autogen (which is not even close to maxed out) does not load at all, or takes an eternity. Is there something I am missing? This was not a problem when using Win7. And I am using P3D 2.5. Thank you.

Evening Simmers, I recently upgraded to Windows 10, maybe not recently but within a few months. Since that time, on 3 separate occasions, I have had a total lockup with P3D. I didnt CTD, it froze my computer solid and I had to do a hard reboot. All 3 times, I have been flying the NGX, and 2 of the times were in the 4 corners region, but I fly through there regularly so that cant be it. Any ideas on what would cause the sim to freeze my system? I am not OC at all. Thanks.
