Hi, I have no issues in V2 but my 737 throttletek will only advance to 63% throttle in V3. I have sensitive to 127 on all and recalibrated in w10. What am i missing here ? Thanks Michael Moe

Rob - I hope you can answer this for me. I like to make changes to an airport scenery in upstate NY and I always use ADE software in FSX but last week you had mentioned that getting the developer software for P3d has advantages, can you mention what these are? I am interested in the developer software but I cannot find any information on the capabilities it has. Thanks again, Nick

Hello, Left on L/M website. I am writing because there must be a problem here somewhere. The photos show a Boeing 737NG on your default airport with all scenery sliders left and we are left with an unacceptable slideshow. Moving the sliders to the right does nothing to change the frames up or down. What do we do to fix this issue: P3D computer setup: 4790K with 16GB 2400mhz ram and three Titan X Superclocked video boards. The other computers run Sim-Avionics, weather, flight programming and other functions. Frame rates are NOT locked within Nvidia Inspector (not installed) and/or Nvidia control panel.

Hi This is more aimed for Rob as I saw this on one of his recent v3 videos,but if anyone else can answer that would be just as good. On the video I noticed that not only did it show the fps but it also showed the percentage of gpu usage. does this option come with v3 or are you using an external program,if so which one? I'm currently running a gtx 780ti on a 1920 -1080p monitor and plan to upgrade my monitor to a 4k one and also get a 980ti card, but I'm not sure in which order to purchase, so knowing how much stress is being put on my current card would help decide on which order I will buy the items. I have not had the chance to download 3.0 as of yet but I do have a question. From what I have been reading 3.0 is installed in its own directory on a SSD and all other addons, aircraft, scenery, and utilities are now loaded outside of 3.0 and can also be loaded on another drive! If this is correct and the choice is to use another drive, should the drive with addons be SSD or a regular HD, and is there an advantage using a SSD? thanks

I am new to P3D, shifting from FSX. Is there a scenery config file in the new version of P3D (v3)? The reason I asked is that my Aivlasoft EFB is saying it cannot find the config file and when I checked the P3D folders there really is none. Because of that it is affecting the updating of EFB with airports, etc. Regards, Michael.

What a difference a year makes. This new version of P3D is a keeper. I just need to rectify my controller problems. My yoke and pedals are detected, but don't work in the sim. My GoFlight modules don't work and there are no drivers on the site for P3D. I was able to fly around and test some settings with my Cyborg X and that works perfectly. Thanks to everyone involved in improving P3D v3. Winner, winner, chicken dinner! :wub: Jose

Hello, Has anyone been able to get TrackIR working with V3? I've installed all the simconnect version that came with V3, it detects my TrackIR (both lights are on) but doesn't work. So far, HDR changes are nice, VAS usage seems better, I cant really tell since I dont have any add ons. thanks.

Hi guys , just installed the V3 version and trying to get the AA settings right, In the past i used nvidia inspector for this but don't know if i still need it or should the settings be made within P3D . My system is a 4790K at 4.7 , with a GTX980 lightning card so performance shouldn't be a problem , Can someone give me some advice wich settings i need to change , in P3D or in inspector or in both to get the best AA, Thanks in advance, Best regards, Gérard van Veldhoven

Hi, trying to install ORBX Wales into P3D from the DVD, so its version 1.0. However when installing for P3D it doesnt recognise the install path for P3D and there is no way to manually select it Is there a way round this to get it to recognize the install location?

Hello, I installed p3d v3 just fine at the very end a error came up saying " could not write key" assure you adminstrative privilages. Any suggestions? Thanks Dino

It was nice knowing you. Hello 3.0! Yes..I did plan to run parallel installs...and did in fact proceed to do so. But alas, there is no reason to stick. 3.0 is here to stay and is performing very well......exceeding 2.5 in key areas. So I no longer see the need. 3.0 will be my focus while I pull all the pieces back together. Even with default textures and a good boost of detail, this thing excels. This isn't a criticism, but just a question as I am puzzled by this. I am definitely enjoying V3 and kudos to the LM team for fixing the VAS usage and overall visual performance improvements. Great job pushing the boundaries further. However, I am puzzled by the new Avatar feature - what is the use case for this? It's cool and all, but was there really a burning need within the community for a visual of a human being traversing the P3D environment? I could see some of the YouTube filmmakers using this perhaps, but is that really LM's intention? For a software with intended military training, what could be the intended use case? Is the reason just to "game-ify" the pla…

I am getting ready to purchase V3 and I want to be able to reinstall my joystick control assignments. Where can I locate the file in V2.5 so I can save it before I delete V2.5? Thank you

I believe I have read somwhere that this is possible. Currently I have v2.5 installed on a separate SSD in a folder named P3Dv2. I am going to install the new version on the same SSD but in a folder named P3Dv3. Is this possible without problems? I also want to keep and use v2.5 for a couple of weeks until I do the final move. Are there any precautions I have to consider. Finally, is it possible to direct some addons (located in the P3Dv2 folder) to the new platform and how would I do this? Every suggestion is welcome.

Hey, So I got myself a GTX970 and I installed P3D V2.5 again. When I load, the load time seems a bit slow for just the default flight, and if/when it does load, my frames are in the high 50's for a few seconds, but then the sim will randomly freeze and give me a fatal error. I have done a clean install of it twice, no tweaks to the CFG. Anyone know what is up? With my old GTX650, I had LOW FPS, but it never crashed. I'm running an i7 4790K, GTX970, x16GB RAM Win 10 x64. I have an issue with the Saitek X52 controller in V3. The controller works fine but after some time (between 5 and 15 minutes) the mouse becomes unusable, the cursor drifts to the left side of the screen. After unplugging the controller the mouse becomes usable again. I am on Win 8.1, don't have this issue with 2.5. Latest Saitek drivers are installed. Any ideas?

I ran into my first issue with P3D V3 today. Navigraph data at CYVR (Vancouver) report RW 13 and 31 while P3D default scenery has RW 12 and 30. I also ran into that issue in CYYC ( Calgary). So its looks you might have to manually modify your SID/STARS data in order to fly with PMDG 777 and NGX 737. After the RW were adjusted, I was able to setup the FMC correctly. Just a heads up.

I spent last evening carrying out a virgin P3D V3 Professional installation for my neighbour - he didn't want to listen to my advice to wait as he's undertaking flying lessons and wants some hands-on time with the sim concurrent with his real flying. Greetings, I have just upgraded to Windows 10 (clean install). After installing MyTraffic v6, I noticed that it takes considerably longer for the vehicle list to load. Granted, I don't use the scenario screen very often, but the difference in load times now vs Win7/MyTraffic v5.4 is considerable. 46 to 60 seconds. I am just wondering if, given the fact that MyTraffic 6 allows installation anywhere, it has an impact on the vehicle list loading time? Also, I noticed in the <user>\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\SimObjects folder; all of the MyTraffic Aircraft are listed. I don't know if any of the above impacts the load times. I hace two MSFFB2. And It is happening the same bug with both. Windows 10 pro 64bits. When stick is perfectly center, and you unhand the stick, throttle automatic goes to 50%. It goes to correct slider position when you hold the stick again or uncentered stick. Quick fix: I have to put a scotch tape in the hand sensor, so there are Forces all the time and never happen this engine behavior. It doesnt happen before with 2.5 and windows 7. Other thing.... No forces at prepar3d v3!! what!! :(

Hello, I downloaded and installed P3D 3.0 without problems. Then I tried to activate. After typing in license ID and license password, I got following message: "Error: Registry key could not be opened/created or is missing. (9217)". How can I solve this problem? Additional information: I have Windows 10 installed, and I am running P3D 2.5 without problems. Regards Arndt
