I just finished to install UTX and GEP3D - no problems so far, but the sim re-loads me during the flight, which has never happened with me before. Very similar to what ASN tried to do a while ago when it tried to re-load AI traffic. Has anyone encountered yet this strange behavior? UPDATE: Yes, V3.0 tries to reload the AI traffic with 2-4 minutes interval of flight. Very annoying. Would appreciate your solution how to stop this.

Hey guys, Just wondering what nvidea driver everyone is using with P3D V3, Recently got a new system so just unsure as to what the best driver would be.

I thought I would use the upcoming upgrade to v3 as an excuse to purchase additional storage. Currently: 1TB internal HD, about 2/3 full, for programs 1TB external HD for static files (backups, downloads, zips, etc.) Proposed: Add a 500 GB SSD for P3D-associated program files only; leave OS on internal HD That is, make a P3D folder on the new SSD, and load P3D and all associated files onto it. 1) I have followed some of the discussions regarding preferences, but as a practical matter, will I be complicating life by doing this. After using v3 for a few days I just wanted to say that I have been very pleased with v3 performance, as well as its look and feel. It is SMOOOOOOTH and the ability to define HDR is great. Clouds look way better than v2 and I do not notice any stuttering whatsoever. In fact, the performance impressed me so much that I decided to upgrade my video card from an nvidia 770/4 to an nvidia 970/4 and noticed a nice bump is FPS. I will probably look to moving from an intel 3570k to either a 6600k or 6700k. Also, as a test, I wanted to compare it to FSX so I flew around Phoenix and maxed out settings in both platforms except for traffic, which I kept at 30%. FPS for FSX w…

Hi, My current specs are an i7 3770, Radeon 7770 1GB, 8GB Ram, SSD, Cooler Master 212. With my settings on average mid, my fps jumps between 12-35 fps with the PMDG 777 with no addons in the default KVPS. Im wondering what to upgrade for now for a marked improvement in fps and smoothness. Was looking at the i5 4690k vs the GTX 960 4GB. Getting either will require me to get a new PSU because mine is rubbish especially as I will look to overclock the CPU to 4.5GHZ. However the CPU will also require a new mobo. Which direction should i go to see a marked difference, CPU or GPU? Thanks.

Hello I am poised to move to P3Dv3 and looking to upgrade my GPU to AMD's Radeon Fury X. Is there anyone out there using this GPU with P3Dv3 that can share their experience? Really not interested in hearing "get a 980Ti" just wanna hear back from the community on how this specific card performs with P3Dv3. Much appreciated !

I as doing a flight from CYVR to KLAX to test the PMDG 777. I was at 2,7G of VAS when I first started. I started ASN in the middle of the flight and my VAS started climbing up. When I reached KLAX I was at 3,1G of VAS. I bet if I continue flying a little longer I would official ran out of memory.

I am new to using inspector but would like to see if I can get rid of annoying stutters. My first question is does it have to be running in the background or just setup profile and shutdown? Also if anyone wants to post there settings that would be awesome.

Do you think an Orbx Caribbean package would do well? I started a topic asking for some recommendations on Caribbean Scenery and the question of Orbx and another good scenery developer doing the Caribbean region came up. Any thoughts?

Very basic question about v3 : Now that VAS has been optimized do we still only activate the scenery where we fly or doesn't it really matter anymore ? I have 368 entries and if I could let them all Active that would be nice...

Dear all, great so far with v3 I got a big boost on FPS and usage of my 2 GPU's went to over 90% all great! BUT this is if I am using the profile I had got from Rob Ainscough for the v2.5 and adjusted manually with the helpm of: nVidia Inspector (NI) to remove the artifacts in SLI ... these settings here: http://www.robainsco...I_Settings.html . If I use normal nVidia profile from the last driver update the FPS drops a lot and very bad use of my GPU's. What are your experiences so far? BR// Luis. PS I use 2 GTX770

I read on the FSDT forums that CYVR is being used in P3Dv3, but when I want to install it, I only get the option to install it in P3Dv2, so the only option would be to manually add it to the P3Dv3 library. Strangely enough the Addonmanager only wants to install in P3Dv3, so I installed it there and it works fine, I could register the addon and that seems to work, but when I check CYVR, in P3Dv3, I only see runways and jetways and there are no buildings around, while in P3Dv2 everything checks out. Can it be I missed to add some folders I should add to any .cfg-file? Or can it be something else that prevents the buildings from showing up in P3Dv3?

Is there a file I can copy over that has all my custom control settings in v2 than I can copy over to v3? Ya know, custom buttons, switches from selections I made in the default Settings - Controls menu... deleted a lot of the axis as I use FSUIPC. Just thought it would be easier to drag-n-drop a file rather than going through all my hardware to set them up again in v3. I would think there would be a file somewhere but I haven't found it? thx, Clutch

Hello, i have two questions was curious if were addressed with P3D V3 see below: 1. Timezone's have they been fixed and does sim keep correct time and adjusts correctly to location of aircraft versus timezone, or does it suddenly jump into day as it did in past when it crossed timezone? 2. Pilot Dynamic Head Movement(camera) were the issues addressed with this in this version? specifically example would be if u took off in one part of the world and land in other u would have to adjust ur head/camera location several times to address issue with FSX/p3d, was this fixed or still same issue?

Hi, After a clean install of Windows and P3Dv3, I've installed Pro ATC, but no payware aircraft yet. I've been trying a flight with Pro ATC and one of the default twins, which has no standby Com1 frequency, so I have no double arrow to press, after hearing ATIS. Is there a "Clearance" frequency I can tune in the single display, in order to contact Clearance for Pro ATC? I'm new to Pro ATC, and can't find anything related in the manual. Thanks, Jim

Well I have tried everything I know to get ASN working - posted there but no feedback so me thinks this is not ready for a fresh install of V3 - it worked when I had 2.5 loaded but after dumping 2.5 I reinstalled asn and does not work now - any help on this one would be great
