Have you seen this - very interesting never would have thought of this

P3D V1.0 Sept 2011 P3D V2.0 Nov 25th 2013 P3D V3.0 September 30th 2015 So 26 months between 1 & 2 and only 22 months between 2 & 3. Its almost a wash between buying the monthly license for $9.99 and the $200 Pro. Not sure if anyone else has posted this before but may be of interest to some who want to get it but don't want to shell out $200.

Hi I am trying P3d v3 and cannot bring up the ATC window from the view menu. Any help appreciated. Cheers Jay

You no I new this was going to happen in fact when people were posting that the new version was coming Out I posted on this very forum what will happen when the new version came out if they would give a Grace period for customers who are close to 60 day refund. Not... no joy I emailed Lm, and explained that I was out by a couple of days and their response was Sorry I'm sorry that is not fair..... my son now is asking why dad? Anyway...... Is their anyone else that are facing the same issue.

Could do with some advice especially to get away from all the V3 arguments just about to start testing it (was a 12 hour download!). Anyway, I have 2 x 670, currently in SLi. Both are 2Gb, factory OC. I run 1 main monitor at 2560x1440 for P3D and a 1900x1200 as well as 1024x768 for instruments, Plan-G, FMC, browser, docs or whatever I'm using. Before SLi I had the big monitor on one card and the other two on the other. Going to SLi I seemed gained fps though lost some rendering speed/got blurries it seemed, probably due to everything running on just one lot of 2Gb (all 3 monitors plugged into the primary card obviously). Gentlemen, after reinstalling P3D V3 i get this error This happens right after pressing one of the both buttons (Activate / Purchase P3D) whenstarting P3D the first time... When having a look into my account on the Prepar3d site it says the licence ist ok.... Any idea ? Thanks a lot, Carsten

you select the correct path to V3 in settings for ASN

Froogle says you can just point to your P3D to version 3 and it installs, but not tried it myself yet.

It seems like I just upgraded to 2.5 and re-installed everything due to the new file structure. Oh well. But, this time, it appears that we need to wait before we can legally re-install our various add ons? Maybe we need a sticky with 3.0 ready installers?

Not sure this will get much attention today with all eyes on P3Dv3, but here goes... I am still running 2.5, and just bought the Carenado Seneca V and installed it into P3D2.5. As I didn't like the sound set I purchased the Arezone sound set product from SimMarket. In trying to install it, I was browsing folders to find my P3D folder, found it and tried to select it. Nothing happened, the pointer just stayed on the folder and no response. So I cancelled the installation exe preparing to try again, when I discovered that my P3D folder was gone. I did a search for the folder on Windows Explorer and it wasn't found. I thought I should see if the program would load. The…

Is everyone uninstalling v2.5 before installing v3?

Hello everybody, I'm having this problem where whenever I change the settings for anti aliasing in Nvidia inspector for PrePar3d the settings never change anything. I have tried over 20 combinations and none have made a difference. I always notice jagged edges and none of the settings that I use in nvidia inspector apply to prepar3d whatsoever. I would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me with this issue.

We are very proud of the engine enhancements we were able to make and are excited to see what the community will be able to do with access to more system and video memory in v3." Anyone else notice some of the Speedtrees are acting like they are in a hurricane, while others are slightly moving in a breeze? Wind is only 3 knots..default flight location.

I got permission from LM to post videos/info last Friday the 25th (got busy so that didn't happen), but I'll provide a quick video of V3 here at what I consider to be extreme graphics settings using some very heavy VAS/FPS hitters: Region is Orbx NA NorCal, Airport is FlightBeam's KSFO HD, graphics settings are at the end of the video ... it is recorded in 4K and is using NI for 4X SGSS AA. Hardware is 5960X with two Titan X's in SLI performance mode. Hi all, I have finished re-installing my addons on the new Prepar3D v2.5 (except ASN and ORBX) and I am in the process of finding again the 'sweet spot' of performance and anti-aliasing. Its a pity that in this wonderful simulator we don't have a perfect in-game anti-aliasing and we need to find external settings to modify it. I use the following tweaks in my p3d.cfg : UseGlobalTerrainView=True SHADER_CACHE_VERSION=1 FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.01 Altering the graphics settings inside P3D does not seem to have a significant impact on performance.
