Hello guys, Im having strange error with my P3D. In fact I ve completed only one flight so far without error. While flying PMDG on IVAO network, randomly I get a popup window saying P3D stopped working and program will be closed. Looking to the event viewer I could see the error was pointing to ai_player.dll in root P3D folder. I have traffic sliders set to zero and latest FSUIPC. Read different forums for any possible solution, but no luck. If anyone could help me with this it would be highly appreciated. Thank you

Hi, Since UTX is available so far for USA and Europe only, I'm just wondering whether it would be possible to de-activate Vector for those regions and make it active for areas that aren't covered by UT, Canada and Middle East for example. Thank you

I am plagued by blurries near the end of every flight, that make flying unacceptable. I have tried every suggested cure, and am now down to thinking a reinstall of P3D is the only solution. I see in the Uninstall reinstall instructions for P3d, that the repair function in control panel is suggested. Has anyone had any success with this, or am I better off just uninstalling and reinstalling the entire program?

I had installed FTX Global and it was working fantastically. Love it! And so I decided to start adding to my ORBX stuff by purchasing the Southern Alaska package. Installed fine, but niow when I go to open FSX SE, I get a message about a "ObjectFlow_SAK.dll" that I have to by-pass in order to load. If I accept it, FSX crashes. So far, I have not attempted to fly in the Alaska area due to this problem. Any input as to why I am getting this message?

Hello! I am running windows 8 64 bit on my PC, and when I have P3D open, and look in my control panel, I get a bar, like I do with any other program currently running on my computer that says; "Prepar3D exe (32-bit)" Is the 32 bit a bug, or am I really loosing RAM? If it really is 32 bit, how can I make it 64-bit? (I run Prepar3D V2.5) Thanks for answers!

Trying to trouble shoot this sudden blurry problem, and I notice that if I am flying along and minimize P3D while flying for a couple of minutes, when I return to full screen, does it produce blurries. This is what happens every time I minimize for over a couple of minutes, and when returning to full screen sometimes it takes over 30 seconds for the burries to clear up. I need to know if this is normal P3D behavior or not....

I was flying into Orlando (KMCO) yesterday in the 737NGX about dusk and I marveled at the detail and the complexity of P3D, even with some faults. As I turned in the waning sunlight, I saw the shadows dance across the cockpit and the dials and control knobs. The shadows cast by the knobs were longer due to the setting sun. The light had a slightly orange cast to it as it often does late in the day. The shadows lengthened as my angle to the sun flattened. Today as I took off from Dallas I could see the shadows of the scattered clouds play across the landscape as I climbed out. Both Microsoft and LM get ripped in the forums for things that we all wish worked a litt…

Does anyone here use EireSim's EINN Shannon and EIKY Kerry scenery packages with P3D? In addition, the Shannon package does not come with a photoscenery base. Can the runways/taxiways/aprons be used without the "in between" areas (so to speak)? I have the PlayHorizon VFR Republic of Ireland photoscenery installed, so I would like to be able to use that as a base, and put various elements of the EireSim scenery on top of it (and then add additional items based on the photo image).

Would someone please take a screenshot of KDEN showing how it blends with Ftx Global. Looking to purchase this. I tried the free trial but did not install the Ftx files.

I already own REX OD. Are the textures that much better in REX4? It's on sale so this would be the best time to get it.

I'll have to reinstall everything on my computer and now I have a choice to install P3D on SSD or on WD VelociRaptor 10K RPM HDD. Which one should I choose?

Hi i have always wanted to ask this question about pitch angle. Many times when i try performing a good flare upon landing i have herd everyone talk about pitch degree angle. I have yet to know where 2.5 degree is on the PFD. Does anyone have some sort of diagram that labels out all the pitch angle on the PFD? I don't know if this is the correct place to ask about this simple information but feel free to move this thread to the correct place if you like.

I'm putting this post here because my pics are in P3D. Anyway if you use the A2A Cherokee and you prefer an airspeed indicator in KIAS and an attitude indicator in the more traditional Piper colors I've combined them into one. I've seen panels with either or but I haven't seen both gauges on the same plane (which would be more realistic). Hi, I used to run p3d 2.5 with win 8.1 64 and two 780ti in sli. It was still the period of the AFR-FriendlyD3D trick. At this time, i had a nice improvment in sli configuration. I changed my cards for two 980ti, the new nvidia driver with p3d sli profile came out, and now my p3d has no improvment at all with sli on. The fps are exactly the same with or without sli activated. In msi afterbuner, i can see that the two cards are working but not a fps more... Weird thing isnt'it ? Is anybody has the same problem ? Thanks

Hi. Just a fast question. I'm building a new system and don't know which CPU to buy. I have a 2600k OC to 4.7 and I hesitate between 6700K (4 cores) and 5930K (6 cores). My GPU is a EVGA Titan (first generation) and my next motherbord will be ASUS What do you thik, which is better for P3D ???

Hi all, I've been trying to get this addon known as the PDF Kneeboard to work with P3D, but cannot for the life of me figure out what's wrong with my dll.xml file. I've tried validating using free online checkers and even when no errors were found nothing launches when P3D is started. Also the only way I can fix the xml file is to re run the GSX installer which makes a new dll.xml after installation. The downside of doing this is the rest of the addons go missing and I have to manually add them back and this brings me back to square one. I would really appreciate it if someone could look into the file and determine if there's anything wrong with the coding. …

I am confused, but not unusual for me....I looked in the folder for the P3D.cfg file App data/ roaming/lockheed martin/Prepar3Dv2 and I see 3 entries: Prepar3D.cfg Prepar3D.cfg.tmp Prepar3D.cfg.txt It appears that the one that I have been editing is Prepar3D.cfg.txt Am I editing the wrong file? And why are there 3 files with cfg? Thanks..

Hello! I have tried to install the FTXGLOBAL_NA_AIRPORTS pack for the free airports in North America. I donwloaded it from the FTX homepage. When I execute the .exe my kaspersky screams that this is malware and dont want to execute this file... I had no problems with the pack for Europe. Anyone other have this problem, and maybe a workaround? Or is this really malware? ^^ Greetings,

Hi all, since my harddisk space is becoming somewhat constrained and I don't need all my sceneries all the time, I thought about deinstalling some of them to make room for new addons. Orbx consumes quite a lot of space, but I'm puzzled how to deinstall properly... any pointers? I'd like to deinstall AYPY (Port Moresby Intl and openLC Europe if that information is of any help. A company called OFX has just released its Rouen LFOP airport, claiming FSX and P3D2 compabitility. Has anyone purchasaed this airport and can comment on its compatibility with ORBX OpenLC Europe?

Hey folks! I recently made the change from FSX to P3D and i have a quite stuttery P3D with steady FPS at 60 on a 120 Hz Monitor. Flying and panning around is really jerky and the sim is not enjoyable for me. I have observed, that the stutters go away as soon as is press P and pause the sim. Everything smoothens up then. Repressing P gives me stutters again. Has anybody experienced this? Or has a clue on this? My specs: I7-3820 @ 4.5 Ghz Asus X79 Sabertooth Nvidia GTX970 16 GB RAM Win 7 P3D is freshly installed and untweaked except Optimize Parts =1 I lowered all Graphics, tried different vSynch and Refreshrate options as well as different ways of limiting the Framer…
