I run P3D through a 4k projector. The screen resolution as shown by Nvidia is 3840x2160 at 30Hz.. When I run P3D and go to options/graphics the resolution shows as 1920x1080. This is what shown in my Prepar3D.cfg. [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti.0.0] Mode=1920x1080x32 [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 Ti.0.1] Mode=3840x2160x32 I can click on display and chose the GTX 780 Ti.0.1 and the resolution does indeed show as 3840x2160, but if I exit the menu, go back to the sim, then back to the graphics settings again, it's back to GTX 780 Ti.0.0 1920x1080. Hi everybody, as many of you know, the only version of FsRecorder which work in P3D v2.x without any crash is the 1.331 Infact,I used it for about one year, but suddenly, yesterday it made P3D CTD.I'm sure that's the problem is the recorder because when I remove the dll entry, P3D works normally. Any Idea for this?

Curious if anyone has done any comparison on the new Ground Environment for Prepard3D (World Edition) with FTX Global.. as their website says that the two products arent compatible, you can only have one or the other installed.. Unsure how that would mesh up with existing FTX airports and addons though.. I'm not seeing much in the way of discussion on this just yet.. Curious.. thanks..

So I was doing a flight from KSAT to KPHX and the flight plan took me over El Paso in Texas. And what I noticed with GEX World P3D and UTX 2.0 USA installed is just how absolutely dreadful Mexico looked as I was flying near the border. There was absolutely NOTHING south of the border. All the detailed Vector and Landclass data just ceased to be. Now obviously I know that is going to happen since everything south of the border is just default P3D/FSX scenery and is not being handled by GEX or UTX other than GEX providing textures for the Landclass data. i believe i have it correct that the fsx version will NOT work with prepar3d and that you have to purchase the specific version for prepar3d. what i cannot find is if it will work with prepar3d v1.4??? it says only v2-2.5. so does that mean it won't work with prepar3d v1.4?? if it will work, i would repurchase it, otherwise obviously not. thanks, Wes i have tried looking everywhere for this answer, but i probably missed it.

I loaded up a flight at 1S2, but when the flight was almost at 100%, P3D crashed without any error messages. I tested other airports in PNW and all are fine, except for 1S2. I reinstalled the airport, installed libs, ran Central and Vector, but no improvement. I took off from another aiport close by to check if I could get into the addon's area, but when I got close to 1S2, there were no buildings at the airport, just some black squares where the buildings should be. When changing the angle of the view slightly, I could make the buildings appear, but only for as long I kept my view within a small angle, moving too far made the buildings disappear again. I have my P3D installed on a ssd separate from my os. Is it as easy as installing new ssd and copy and paste then reassign new ssd my old ssd drive letter? Will addons be affected that are on this drive? Ezdok, Orbx, Accufeel?

Has anyone got this aircraft installed in P3D?

I've been able to get everything working in P3D 2.5 for the Level D 767, except the ground call causes a CTD every time. I realize it was not made for p3d. I just want to get access to the ground power unit. I've tried to use the custom controls that come with the plane (there is a key sequence to attach GPU). This still doesn't work. Has anyone found a way to get the ground power connected?

Hi am having a problem with the said file ,its always running high cpu in Task Manager when i have Prepar3D on my system,even when P3D is closed i still get high cpu,when i remove P3D off my computer everything is back to normal,hope somebody can help because this is so ffinngg annoying,Windows 8.1 is the OS.thank you

I've been flying the daylights out of Orbx PNW and SE Alaska scenery after switching to P3D a few months ago. Interested in some flying around the tropics as a change of pace, and wondering if there is any scenery that you would recommend that would be compatible with P3D?

I just logged into the Prepar3d Website and it appears there is a virus in the forums. Any one have any ideas? Strange symbols on every topic. Hope they get rid of it asap and it doesn't cause much damage.

As the title states, rebuilding 2.5, again. First, it was problems created by the migration tool, P3D began to crash after a message saying that the tool, even though disabled, had to restart the sim. It never started again. Next, I decided to let go of all non-P3D addons and had the sim running perfectly for a few hours. The next to the last step was adding Mytraffic 6. I followed the "instructions" ahem, exactly. I had it running in 2.4 so it wasn't as if I couldn't follow what the guy was saying. The instructions are only slightly different for 2.5. Hello everyone Does any know ... or has anyone managed to get the Pro Panel II Flight Console working in Prepar3D Ver 2.5? I posted a message on 11th August on their forums asking this and whether it works in Windows 10 and guess what? Absolutely nothing back from them!! I could understand if it was a plastic little toy joystick costing £5 or $5 but at $2695.00 you think someone would of come back with some help!! Hence why I have asked this question here .... Hello everyone, I've been having elevation issues with some airports in Prepar3D v2.5. I have ORBX FTX Global and FTX Global Vector installed, and I have ran the AEC program. An example of what I am seeing is here : http://prntscr.com/7u4jgt It appears that some aprons show up but the taxiway detail doesn't - just the lines show. I went to AEC to disable the airport but I found out that the airport was not listed at all. Is there any way I can fix this? Thank you!

Hi all, Anyone using an r9 290 4gb? Currently using a 7850 2gb with an i5 at 4.8ghz and a 3 screen 6048x1200 eyefinity setup. If I max everything I get 5-7 fps and if I balance everything middle to high I get 30-40 fps using orbx, asn and a2a aircraft. Looking for an upgrade and the 290 seems to go very well in benchmarks and beats most things. The 4gb will come in handy and it won't have the aa issues that nvidia have. Seems a bargain at just over £300 but obviously no benchmarks are done using prepar3d so although it's great for most dx11 games it's hard to work out how it goes in prepar3d. Have also seen 4k benchmarks using it and it gives the Titan a run …

So, as the title says, what is the best option for someone looking to fly the 787, but growing short on patience for the QW release? I know patience is a virtue, especially in the sim world, but I want it. I really do. Any thoughts or suggestions?

What the heck! The new folder structure for 2.5 is a pita! Does anyone have UTX 2 working in 2.5? Does anyone know about an installer for it? I don't understand why in the hell LM did this. Why not wait until V3? NEVERMIND, all good ya'll!
