I notice this so far only in the YBBN and YMML scenery. The scenery is quite blurry. I read through the manual and I have it set to FSX native. Is there a way to use the textures I use for HD taxiways etc with REX4? Also I landed at YMML yesterday and as soon as I left the runway, not only were the taxi lines blurry but they were flickering from the blurry lines to a clear ashpalt taxiway that was clear like the standard taxiways but then the apron was blurry again. Any suggestions? I looked into the FTX Aero but I don't want every airport to use those textures just the ones that need it, I already use HD from REX 4 texture on the scenery that allows it.

It seems to me that it's been rather quiet on the forums about upcoming updates or new versions for P3D. Just curious if Rob or anyone else knows what we can look forward to and any timeframes of what we have to look forward to in newer versions or updates.

Hello The only way i can remove shimmering light poles and wind turnbines is to set the AA to 8xSGSS in nvidia inspector, while this does help it really affects performance on cloudy days. I have been reading about DSR mode, does anyone use this mode and will this benefit P3D? if so can i set it that my P3D uses DSR but my FSX doesn't? my GFX card is a GTX770 2GB using drivers 347.88 kind regards Daz

Installed it a couple of days ago. Enjoying a lot so far, as reported at another post. I decided to install ORBX FTX Global and got weird scenery spikes randomly on scenery areas with buildings. Apparently gone when reducing autogen density. I have tesselation at the default setting, and my graphics card is an old GTX 650 Ti with 1GB "only"... Two questions: 1) What's the overall opinion regarding AffinityMask in P3dv2.5 ? Should I use it ( set at 14 for my quad-core i5 2500 with no HT ), or should I leave all cores enabled ? 2) Tesselation: For such a low end GPU, how do you think I should set my tessellation factor ?

Hello, I've always had problems with FPS in P3D. but this is horrible. I reinstalled it recently and I'm getting 0.9-1 FPS. NO scenery FPS limiter is at unlimited, and I only added the Optimized_Parts=1 tweak, everything else is default. What is happening? I7 4790K @4.5 GHz GTX 650 16GB RAM NO I wont but a GTX Titan or any other new graphics card, I shouldn't have to, there are people with lower end systems then me that I heard of that are pulling 30FPS in the PMDG 737 at heavy scenery airports.

Decided to clean up my P3D installation a bit removing all airports not fully P3Dv2.x compatible and this left me with a long list of missing airports. I'm pretty sure none of the airports in the list has a high quality airport scenery available which is also fully P3Dv2.x compatible but please correct me if you know something I don't. Hi, I just got a third display. I want to use P3D in windowed mode in only one display. The other ones, I want to use for charts, weather, pfpx etc. So I do not use P3d in full screen mode, spanning all three displays. So, my setup is like this: Two of my displays are connected to my main GPU, a GTX770. The third display is connected to my main board HDMI connection. Which uses the integrated GPU of my processor (i7 4790K) (Intel HD Graphics 4600) When i only use the two display connected to my GTX770, everything works just fine. But when i try to start P3D with the third display enabled, P3D loads, shows me the default airport with some textures missing,…

Question for anyone that purchased the Turbine Duke for P3D: I keep seeing that the Duke has "complete support for the GTN 750 from Flight 1". I assume that means I need to purchase this separately. However, isn't Flight 1 the company that is not supporting P3D? I remember this when I was considering the Citation Mustang. Does the GTN750 work with P3D? If not, what is the "default" GPS? Anyone have suggestions for a powerful turbine or corporate jet that uses the G1000? Thanks in advance.

Is there a Boeing 747-200 that is fully functional in P3Dv2? Freeware or payware doesnt matter, but I would like to find one with decent graphics, a little depth in the systems modeling and proper flight characteristics.

I took the opportunity of a Win 10 Preview install to zap FSX - haven't flown FSX in many months, so what's the point of taking up space on a perfectly good SSD? Interesting to note that in the P3D uninstall/reinstall, I have over 30 Flight Sim related products to reinstall. Scenery, Aircraft, utilities, it doesn't end, I have another couple of days of installs, config and tweaking simconnect and network connections until I can get a flight in. Anyone else get the Aerosoft A320 that didn't care for it. I have flown the PMDG 737 and the Level D 767 in the past, and this aircraft is rather disappointing. I have run into one problem after another , and after spending almost a whole day today trying to set it up with various glitches that I corrected along the way, now in trying to program the FMC or whatever they call it, it doesn't even recognize the airports in the tutorial. Looks like it is going to wind up in the digital trash can. Should have got the PMDG 737, but my VA uses the Airbus.

Hello all, I've been a Microsoft FS user since 98! And have been enjoying FSX since 2006 with all it's amazing addons and tweaks. For all users who have used MFS before, you may have all been through the phases of installing addon after addon until your simulator just can't take anymore and you end up having to re install. Well I think I broke my FSX for the last time ever! Hello all! I've been sitting on my 2.3 to 2.4 upgrade with the patch since 2.4 came out, which happened to be just a few days after going from 2.2 to 2.3. That was 3 installs in short succession, including the 1.4 to 2.2 jump, so when 2.5 appeared I was less than excited about pulling the trigger and doing it all over again. Hi I installed Airbus immersion onto my P3D but the contrails don't show behind other vatsim traffic while in the sky only behind my aircraft. Does this need to be enabled in P3D systems for contrails ? Thanks

I forgot to backup my 744 aircraft folder from FSX:SE when I uninstalled it, and now that I have P3Dv2, I miss that one, which is the aircraft I used with Aerowinx PSX for the visuals :-/ Tried to find some standalone package, and not only textures and some artwork, but found nothing at the libraries I searched across the Web. Any suggestion of where to download a full 744, freeware, for P3Dv2 ? Thx !

Two days ago I decide to buy P3Dv2. Installed and tunned it for my rig ( i5 2500 @ 3,3 GHz and 1GB GTX 650 Ti graphics ) and I am very satisfied so far. The sim feels even smoother than FSX:SE, and I wasn't expecting it to perform that way, because I do not have a top rig, far from that, and read about stutters in many posts. Tried Affinity at 14, but rolled back to full 4 cores. Just limited TIR5 to core 1 because it is giving me some CTDs from time to time with DCS I was even positively surprised by it's performance with PSX! Smoother than FSX:SE ! and weather injects better ( using Visual PSX ). Now, when I installed ORBX FTX Global it complained about…

I run one monitor and two desktops connected to it, using Belkin KVM switch for keyboard and the mouse. 4 out of 5 times P3D will crash during the switch from the P3D machine to the other. Never had any issues with FSX, same setup. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm slightly lost in all those numerous topics regarding SLI, Nvidia and LM. Cannot say whether it's beta, aplha, official or not. Were drivers quietly released on ther're still in beta phase. Thanks

hi guys, i have REX 4 clouds already installed but i dont want to use them anymore because my GPU cant handle them even on the lowest res as my MSAA is at 4x which is the real killer. I tried to restore P3D default textures using REX 4 restore feature...but nothing happend, so i tried running it as admin then clicking restore again but nothing happened again. Is there another way of restoring clouds? Would reinstalling REX 4 help?
