I can't get the default GPS 295 to work in P3D. It's just blacked out. I use this on some A2A birds, but I'll probably replace it with the GTN750 soon. Must be some real rookie mistake I'm doing, what am I missing? The "on" button?

Hey, I recently bought UTX US 2.1 and I am very fascinated by this product. I am even planning to purchase GEX P3D. The issue remains is that those products for the time being have UTX Europe and Canada is in works. What about rest of the world? Default LC is boring and have repetitive textures in P3D. I looked into SceneryTech LC - their website hasn't been updated in years, is that product even supported or updated? Heck last news is from 2009 on their site. What is up with that? I don't think they have P3Dv2 installers Orbx Vector wins for having world wide Vector but it is damn VAS hog for the time being. Thanks

Hi ,I am wanting to Map my throttle quadrant (Saitek) for use with jets and turboprops .There does not seem to be an equivalent control to the control that is in FSX (F2 press and hold ) in P3D V2.5. Surely this control has not been deleted in P3D . Is there a control in P3D for this purpose?

Hi Guys, first thank you to FlyTampa for this update. But unfortunately I got an issue: I downloaded the new version (via Aerosoft), installed it and all seems quite normal. But after installing it I now get a P3D application error, everytime I try to start it. There is no difference if Vienna is activated in the scenery library or not. First of all, I'm no VAS expert and I typically don't monitor it during my flights as I've only experienced a rare OOM. But I was flying the PMDG 737 NGX from FSDT KLAS to FSDT KLAX on PilotEdge the other day, when on short final I got the dreaded OOM. The next day I repeated the flight and it happened again, this time while taxiing to the gate at KLAX. Both flights were at dusk in cloudy weather and both flights were very smooth up to the OOM. Now, I run my autogen and vegetation sliders at normal, road traffic at 5%, FXAA off, 8XMSAA, Anisotropic 8X, 2048 texture resolution, I use ASN weather with REX4 but I use 512 px cloud textures. just noticed this problem. I am gate 10 with the Pmdg 737 and the jetway won't operate. The Pmdg is also parked in the md-80 parking spot. The 737 space is about 5 feet behind the front landing gear. Usually 737s are always parked at the 737 mark at my other airports. Just wondering if there is a quick fix. Maybe a quick reinstall. Thanks

I just bought v2 of Utx. I have global textures installed as well as vector and EU land class. No promises but if anyone would like to see some comparisons then let me know what location and time permitting I will see what I can do. I also have FTX England so can do 3 way comparisons if it is somewhere in England. Chris

Hi guys, I am new to this forum and not sure whether this is the correct section but here goes. I have recently purchased a new computer and installed Prepar3D V2.5 on it. I am getting a lot of OOM's on low settings. I was wondering if you guys could recommend me some setting inside of Prepar3D and outside of it, like REX4, REX Soft Clouds, ASN and any other things you guys suggest. Well, it's not truly a UTX problem. I had this before with FTX Vector/OpenLC as well, but since I read that UTX would be better and more accurate, I decided to give UTX a change, but as it turns out, it's actually as bad as it was with FTX... The problem is the water in the better part of the north of the Netherlands. Especially in North and South Holland, as well as Utrecht, are large areas where there are lots of small, 5-6ft wide, streams IN BETWEEN the field. These are visible from the air, but you have to look for them, they dont dominate the scenery in any way. But what I see with either FTX or UTX LC and vector data turned on, are much larger areas than should …

Hi guys, Really happy with p3d at the moment fps wise. Testing around EKCH is a dream come true. I am on a overclocked 2500k and GTX970. I am noticing that the gpu is running a lot at 98%+ on the graph. Is this perfectly ok? Or should I be worried? Kind regards, Alex

hi I have a question regarding this process from the pinned tips page I think I have a large number of possibly unmipped files especially older ai aircraft files that I use in both fsx and P3D that are saved in one folder that both sims access So does this process work for fsx mipped files also or is it only for P3D? I took a longer brake from flying A2A C172, because I couldn't feel it right. But when I came back yesterday, it turned out, that some recent A2A updates must have made some significant changes to a flight model (or maybe some controller config?). Below is my video from approach to NZMJ. Few months ago, I couldn't put her on a short, bush strip like NZMJ, now it is a completely different story. Notice, how it behaves in a sideslip. Hello everyone. Using P3D version 2.5 with hotfix 4 ( I believe the latest ) I've noticed an annoying issue about sky textures. Mine setup is all default except some addon airports, planes and Pro atc. I haven't got anything about sky replacement programs. When flying at dusk and dawn and looking around, the sky colors are changing instantly. What do you think about it? Is it normal and I'm thinking wrong?

Just installed my two 970´s and cant find a thread regarding SLI configuration for P3D2.5. I did try Rob´s page but could not find information for P3D2.5 Also i cant find a Sli Profile in NI that mention P3D.? Maybe Rob also has one for Project Cars now that i do believe he is a racedriver :-) ? 3 Questions 1. Should i connect all my monitors to one card? or spread them between the cards ? i have 1 x 1920x1200 Hanss G 28" 1 x 1280x1024 (just for PFD,ND) 1 x 1024x768 CDUII via an displayadapter(active) 2. I have been reading one post about this here "the only one i could find" but it did not answer my question. Question: On FSX I use to get choppy and kind of lagging experience with SLI enabled. Is it still the case in p3d v2.5 running SLI? I have not been able to test and the 2-3 videos I was looking at don't tell me that much, maybe someone here have more experience from this? I understand that P3D is basically FSX but updated to DX11 etc and its still beeing developed by some members from the old team that use to develop FSX. Thanks!

New just uploaded to AVSIM Library yesterday and is available now (filename logeditv1-0.zip). LogEdit is a logbook editor (P3D only) reads and displays the Logbook.bin file in your LM appData area and allows editing of the data, as well as a tool I created to combine two records into one: Just the time for those trips that get saved and reloaded mid-flight to manage VAS memory. I composed this application in c# with Visual Studio so the code is "managed," NET 4.0 or later is targeted but I think it should work in the old NET 3.5 framework (feedback on this is appreciated).
