I had something decent a while back but when I changed P3D versions some time back I can't seem to find good wave animations in general. Right now I'm using ones from Essentials +, but alas, none of the ones I'm using look very good. If you don't mind mention your nVidia driver too. Thanks in advance

Hello every one! I am running Prepar3d v3.1 on pretty much every thing maxed out expect AI traffic. On a typical session I use a number of addons like airport scenery ( I fly to flytampa dubai a lot), REX 4 + soft clouds, Active Sky Next, Ezdok, Trackir, PMDG 777, GSX Ground services. I thought I could run this with reasonable frame rates because I think I have decent computer. Specs. i7 6700k Overclocked to 4.4ghz 16gb ddr4 2666mhz Ram ROG Maximus viii hero Motherboard. 250gb SSD + 1tb HDD Two GTX 980 Ti running in SLI config. Hi all- What's the trick to getting this to work? I used the A2A VC installer which took all of two clicks and worked fine. I can't get the GPS switch on the left hand side to remove the INOP sticker on it. I looked over at A2A and a guy had the same problem back in November and by some stroke of chance fixed it. Hi, I just installed Open LC NA to FSX. I have only 2 scenery area of ORBX NA in FSX Scenery library: ORBX!OPENLC_NAMERICA1 and ORBX!OPENLC_NAMERICA2. Is that correct?

Simmers and support staff, I recently purchased Prepar3D v3, and having flown around with it in the NGX and a few other add-on aircraft, I have to say I'm extremely loving it! There's only one thing that's been a slight bother, and this is the stars in the sim. I have HDR lighting enabled, and while my lighting config works pretty well during the day and alright enough at night, I find the stars to be way, way too bright. Reduced visibility in ASN helps this, but only to a certain extent. They're still even brighter than the moon, quite unrealistically so especially when on the ground at airports for which the stars are usually completely invisible or barely so. In ad…

Hi Just trying out Airhauler, put it on network as it was too much cpu hug. Everything works except AH Traffic and its stock market, don't use stock market. I have widefs and sim connect working fine for ASN,FSC, OPUS, FSRealtime AH windows popup in sim as expected and all that is ok. Tried to let AH launch p3d by running on same server pc, But not surprised Migration tool was popping up complaining when AH tries to launch P3d, subsequently the p3d launch fails, AH connection window remains open with no green for connection to p3d. Which is expected since p3d off by this time. Hoping I can get to see dynamic AH traffic, so I can install my AiR…

Saved a new default flight last night in P3D v3 and afterwords the sim would CTD every time I tried to load it. Changed the startup flight, fixed, loads every time. Then I have to change weather and aircraft though. Anyone know of a fix for this issue?? I've dug around a little and found others with the issue but didn't see a clear solution. It was a VERY simple question I asked and because you personally dislike the product in question, you lock the thread. IMO that is an abuse of your position. Not that anyone will give a hoot, but Im utterly astounded and really disappointed - i've never in all my years here, seen a thread locked in such an off handed way. Hi guys Couple of questions: - Does anyone have any experience using Aerosoft's Mega Airport Heathrow Extended (the latest version with the new T2) in P3Dv3? I've installed it and many buildings seem to be missing (e.g. Terminal 5, most of Terminal 1 and other structures). - I can't seem to get the AI aircraft labels working correctly. If I turn on the label to show the route and flight number in the prepar3d.cfg file, it doesn't seem to make any difference. I quite like seeing where the various AI aircraft are going to and what flight numbers and aircraft types they are. I'm a bit of a plane spotter.. Perhaps someone can help me with this? Last January, while in v2.3, I decided I was going to fly around the world. No set flight plans-- no particular aircraft--just decided each day where the next destination would be. The distance of the flight then determined the aircraft of the day, altitude and so forth. Started in Milford Sound in New Zealand, to Fiji, then Papua New Guinea, Thailand, Beijing, Istanbul, Europe, Norway and today in Thule, Greenland. I actually flew to Thule 3 times in my prior life. I apologize if this is answered somewhere - I searched around, but didn't find an answer... Is there someone around these forums who does freelance airport design? Hi all- I've been running Win7 and Win10 side by side for a while until I'm sure all is well on the Win10 install with P3D 3.0 I downloaded the latest version of migration tool and installed UTII with it. Runs perfect with absolutely no errors. Never could get it to install correctly on Win7 with errors and borking my PMDG 737 install. Nice to have my favorite traffic program up and running. Season's Greetings to all, I promised I would create a tutorial outlining how I setup my system to allow the installation and operation of UT2 in Prepar3D. I was away for awhile and only just got it done. My apologies. Apologies in particular, to newtie, who waited patiently until finally using EMT. I uninstalled UT2 and all the modifications before writing the note. I can confirm that after redoing the modifications, UT2 installed, and was funtional in Prepar3D. Hi all. Well got my P3D v3 fully loaded. Full range of Orbx, ASN, FSUIPC, EzDok, ABs and 737 NGXs. I wondered if you can help. I keep getting random CTD's. Tried not running EzDOK but no use, still happens. Really started happening after I upgraded to registered version of FSUIPC. Tried deleting the dll and it still happens. Running a i7, 16G Ram, 980ti. Most frustrating after the dollar spend and lack of flying being achieved. I realise I will need to post configs and error logs but not sure where to find them. When running FTX Central2 with no other activityb or update or Sync the CPU usage by the App in Task Mgr is around 22% ... anyone see this...seems a bit too much for not doing anything. Jorge

The last few years a lot of things have been improved in P3D for which I am very grateful. There is however one thing that quite often spoils the immersion for me and I wonder if anyone knows a solution for this. Well, actually there are two annoying things: the other is the late loading textures but somehow I can ignore that. What I can't ignore is: the constant changing of water. it seems that at least a few times per minute some water reflections disappear or pop up or get repositioned. They never ever are solid. Trees come and go, mountains pop in and out. And also the water 'movement' regularly resets or changes instantly, as if it is a badly looped animation. W…

If anyone who is using WOAI using all the packages could send me a copy of their main woai.cfg file found in the main folder, it would be appreciated. I'm using P3Dv3, if it makes any difference. Not sure if this will solve anything though as I'm programming-stupid. Thanks. Or at least someone please point me to instructions as to how to point the WOAI installer so that my aircraft folders do not end up in the WOAI installer folder or elsewhere. After running the auto install today, it seemed to be working all of a sudden, only that not one of the a/c folders ended up in my P3D folder (where I do have a fsx.exe icon) but in the WOAI installer folder for some reason.…
