Hello! I have upgraded my Prepar3d v3 simulator by installing the following Orbx products: FTX Global Base, FTX Global Vector and FTX Global openLC Europe. I am trying to update the files containing the magnetic variation and the navaids in Prepar3d, by applying the following: http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html A very short test showed that the effects are not visible: runways 15/33 from LRIA should have become 14/32, the runways should have had PAPI lights etc. The scenery contained in the FTX products has greater priority in the Scenery Library, and the navaids update is applied only to the stock files of the simulator. Can anyone assist me with adding the PMDG 737 NGX to the ProATCX software. When I go to load a flightplan and the window for the aircraft comes up, the only buttons to check off are "None" & "Airbus 320" I have searched on how to load a 3rd party aircraft but I'm unable to find anything. Can someone help?

I have searched but cannot find a specific reference to a tool or process to convert ORBX airports for use in P3D. The ORBX internal conversion process is spotty.

Just curious if anything has been published, or even rumored ( :wink:) for the remainder of North America Land class from ORBX. I'm not impatient mind you, just curious.

Not sure this is the right forum, but it's something I experience in P3D so here it goes. I've noticed that under P3D (v3) "things" seem less clear than I used to have in FSX. The tiny letters in the virtual cockpit (for instance of the PMDG 737NGX) are not very sharp and readable when seen from a normal viewpoint. I have to zoom in a little bit so be able to read them. Looking at some screenshots on this forum or at youtube video's some people seem to have incredibly clear and sharp graphics. I'm not sure if this is due to my not so current hardware (Core i7-920 + Geforce 660TI 2Gb) or that it's just a matter of certain settings. If it's settings, can someone please …

Rather peculiar - but I have just installed the latest ORBX Libraries and I seem to have gained a rather ridiculous improvement in my frame rates? [Memo to self: One G&T too many at the 19th perhaps - best sleep on it].

Some airports have elevation issues, so i'm trying to exclude those using Vector config tool. The problem is that many airports existing in FSX are not listed by Vector config tool, so those cannot be fixed. Any solution for missing airports in Vector config tool ?

Lately I've noticed that my trim wheel moves wildly up or down on it's own leaving my aircraft in extreme danger. I begin to trim the aircraft then it takes off doing it's own thing. AP off of course.

Hi I am considering to purchase FSCubed after seeing on YouTube how and what it does. I understand that is essentially is a FS scenery backup and restore tool. My question is, I have both FSX and P3Dv2.5 installed. If I take a snapshot using FSCubed, will it backup sceneries from both FSX and P3D? And say if I want to restore the sceneries to my fresh install of new P3Dv3.0, will it recognize to restore the sceneries only from my older version of P3D and ignore the sceneries from FSX? I am not clear as to how FSCubed handles multiple FS install environment.

Does P3Dv3.1 not have force feedback? I am unable to find it in the options.

Hey guys sorry if this has already been discussed.... A new old guy to FSX I am interested in getting Orbx global especially after just trying the amazing NZ orbx!!! Are the default airports on fsx updated with the download of orbx global...? like for example, the new Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport or Dubai and are those annoying major airports such as Sydney that only have like two default heavy/A380 gates... Is that updated as well...? Also one more generic question... What is the best up to date AI traffic for 2015 to compliment the orbx global Thanks so much and sorry for a generic question

I bought the Capt Sim 777 while on sale to see if I would like the 777 in general. Now that I do like it I am interested in getting the PMDG version and would like to know, from those that have both versions, a few things. How do the frame rates compare between the two versions. What do like on the PMDG version that is missing from or better than the CS version. It is a lot of bucks to go for the PMDG plane but if it gets as good as or better frame rates and is that much of a better product than it might worth it to me.

So I'm on a new rig with Win10 and I bind a few keys to use with TrackIR (Center/Pause) but the keys only work when I'm in the TrackIR window and won't work when I'm flying, can anyone help me? I'm at the gate in CYYZ on my way to JFK and my PAX are getting angry

I would like to know if anyone seen this level of detail and cloud coverage in P3D ? When you are at cruising altitude and you can no longer see any terrain just a lot of clouds scatter all over. I have yet to see this amount of cloud when flying in cruising altitude.

Hello, I use P3D v3 since last november and it ran fine until today. When I start it, it loads for a while and then an error message appears: Prepar 3D stopped working. I tried everything (appart of reinstalling). Can someone help me?
