Hello, I installed FSDT KIAH and on the startup of P3D 3.1, this error came up : http://prntscr.com/9okbqz The sim just exits out after I press ok. I don't really know what it means so a fix would definitely be appreciated... -FSDT KIAH was installed as admin -I downloaded latest addon manager and installed as admin (is also the first entry in dll.xml) -P3D is running as admin -No Antivirus blocking anything -The 3 simconnects ARE installed Anybody know what's going on? Good day I have a serious problem with the FPS that gives me the simulator when i am at SKBO it dosent matter if is the Virtualcol one ore the Default one. P3D V3.1 is my current version My desktop computer has a video card NVIDIA reference GTX970 and my processor is AMD FX6300 reference. I have 1TB of hard disk and 12GB RAM, however when I put the plane at SKBO or approach or whatever with SKBO, the frames do not exceed 0.6 !!! Obviously it is impossible to fly well. Is possible if someone can help me please !! Other Airports works great between 20 and 40 frames. I have it unlimitedand it dosent work, with any aircraft: Aerosoft, PMDG, Captain Sim, Majetic, default... ! …

Hi All I have this very fine airstrip in FSX. Anybody managed to get it up and running in P3Dv3.1? I could use EMT but I have no other items to migrate-so it seems like taking a hammer to crack a nut! Is there any other way? xxd09

With my testing of this new graphics setting for V3.1, and adding LM's information regarding this setting ... it can be VERY demanding on the GPU. It's look VERY nice when used and some existing aircraft and/or supporting surfaces do indeed make use of it (most aircraft glass windows will make use of it, PMDG, Majestic, etc.) but runways (with rain) and other uses are dotted around ... some 3PDs will make use of it "as is" and I'm sure other's will start to incorporate in their future updates. Hey all. I've made the move to 3.1 and I'm really happy with it. So far a many of my add-ons have installers but then there is KORF by SXAD which only has a V2 installer. Same thing for Taxi2gate KSEA. KATL 2016 would be nice also. I wanted this install to be free of non native add-ons, what I mean by that is not installing anything with the migration tool, or by having to make too many manual adjustments (actually zero would be ideal) to get the product installed. I would rather that this installation be completely divorced from FSX, personal preference and bad experiences that I'd rather not repeat. I'm sure that someone has installed these V2 airports. Hi all! I'm a big fan of vintage aircraft and have been spending the last few days trying to get some great old FSX addons to work in P3D v2.4, namely Craig Richardson's beautiful Jeannin Taube (http://www.classicwings.net/jeannin_taube.html) and the FS2004 Curtiss Jenny converted for FSX. Problem is, I can't get these aircraft off the ground in P3D. In FSX there is no problem. Full throttle and you're up in the air. In P3D full throttle and the aircraft just sits there. Could this mean a considerable change in the flight model in P3D?

Hi, In advance: sorry for bringing up this question, but I have to... Over the years I have read a lot of articles relating TML. In fact so many that by now I'm a 'bit' confused. I always thought that TML 1024 (in any sim) would prevent (or at least was favourable) for OOM errors because it reduces VAS usage. Reading (again) about TML recently, I read that with P3D (or better: DirectX 11) it has no influence on VAS, since video memory is used and not RAM anymore. So here are my questions: Is it true that VAS usage is not affected by the TML setting? I have a GTX980 ti with 6GB memory. Is it OK so set TML to 2048? (or even 4096?) Has a higher TML setting in…

I am trying to raise the seat up and down in the cockpit and unable. I have tried pressing (Shift + Enter) to move the eyepoint up and (Shift + Backspace) to move the eyepoint down without success. Am also unable to get P3Dv3.1 to recognize the hat switch view- left/right axis (pan) on my Logitech G940 joystick. It works for the view-up/down axis (pan). Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong or is this a known issue in P3Dv3.1?

Somewhere along the way in my Prepar3D V3 journey, I have lost both the ability to see ATC text and hear ATC voices. When I try to do anything with ATC, I get the window coming up with the appropriate options, but when I select an option it "completes" really quickly with no communications text and no voice. If I look further into Sound options in Prepar3D, where I normally expect to see a list of the voices available the list is in fact empty. Not sure if I had this in 3.0 as I moved to 3.1 very quickly, and I'm sure it's just me rather than something systematic. But before I go to a little trouble of a reinstall, does anyone know another way to get ATC working ag…

Posting this here as well as will be posting this on the Lockheed Martin support. Has anyone else experienced this with cloud shadows in 2.3? First I noticed the lack of shadows, or apparent shadows in 2.3... but then noticed this bug. As you can see clearly in the video, when I pan slightly, it causes the shadows to switch on and off. Hello Pilots. just downloaded v3.1 and was wondering what is a good mesh to use with v3.1 ? I used FS Genisis with FSX and P3Dv2.5. I was not great but just ok in my opinion. I've read about Pilots mesh and also I understand the free mesh is even better. Any ideas?

Hi, I just upgraded my PC with a GTX 980 TI SLI (I had 780 TI SLI before) With my 780 Ti the FPS where clearly more important when SLI enabled. Now with 980 TI my FPS are less with SLI. WIthout SLI With SLI I see that the GPU load are only 30% for each card with SLI! Why the card is so less exploited? Of course without SLI the card is better exploited 50% Do I need to do something? I deleted the shaders and the CFG to be sure ... Thanks Dorian

Does anyone know of the Oculus will be natively supported when it releases this Spring? Or will something like Flyinside be needed? I know the resolution may not be there for lots of planes and gauge reading, etc, but I'm super excited to fly Helo's and fighters with the Oculus!!

I have just installed WOAI in Prepar3D V3.1 but I am still seeing the default AI models and liveries along with the WOAI stuff. I am pretty sure the default models and liveries are harder on performance than the WOAI models so I want to remove the default AI traffic. Anyone know how to do this easily?

Hi Guys, has something changed regarding the Aspect Ratio in P3d V3.1? I found out that when i activate the Aspect Ratio the "terrain"bellow looks good ( not blurred). When i disabled it the whole terrain looks totally blurry? Both times the Zoom Factor was 0.50 I use a 23" LCD Monitor with 120 hz Refresh Rate.

Does anyone have any tips for better performance in the New York (KLGA) area? I have a pretty high end PC (3570k @ 4.6ghz, GTX 980 Ti, 16gb DDR3 2400 CL10, Samsung 850 Pro SSDs) and I can't even maintain 30 fps with the Majestic Dash 8 and very moderate graphics settings and Ultimate Traffic 2 set to a very modest 25% GA and airliners. Just about any other airport location I can maintain a rock solid 30fps. The only scenery add on I am using is UTX USA.

The following video was posted on Orbx. My question is where in the Rocky Mountains is this? Flying West of Boulder, CO. does not look this good in Orbx. I was wondering if the Rocky Mountains national Park photo scenery, by Megascenery, might give me scenery similar to the video? Another one for float planers...
