Hi! I managed to get UT2 installed into P3D without having my FSX anymore (used migration tool) That worked with my old UT installer, however after installing a new traffic file the UT manager would't start anymore. Figured out that I needed the new 2.09 installer. Downloaded and installed. Now the Mangaer worked with the new traffic file. Hey guys, So at the moment im on P3D V3.1, in versions like P3D V2.5 etc i had the ground textures and loading very sharp and crisp with no blurries, now i just cant seem not matter what i do to get the blurries to go away. Any tips / Suggestions ? System - I5 4670K 4,5ghz, gtx 770

Hi All: For Christmas I took advantage of the Megascenery Earth (ME) sales and completed almost all of the lower 48. I now have over 44 ME entries in my scenery.cfg file. In the past, P3D would load in about a minute or two with only the Western US ME states active. With all the states active, load times have increased exponentially to about 7 or 8 minutes. So as a test, I turned off all the ME entries (using the outstanding Scenery Config Editor -- highly recommended) and P3D loaded almost immediately. I also bought a new 3Tb hard drive where my airports and scenery data is stored. P3D runs off a different SSD. Other than deciding where I want to fly before start…

Hello, I've developed a list of procedures to start this aircraft with everything off. I did this compiling the information from webpages and also from youtube videos. This is one of two non-default aircraft I have installed thru EMT into P3DV2. I noticed tonight quite by accident that the weather radar feature (it's a dumb simulation I believe) really hits frame rate hard for whatever reason. I understand none of these planes are optimized for V2 that is a given, I'm just pointing on this is one feature in one plane that in my system clearly has a component that is very frame rate unfriendly, despite perhaps most other parts of that particular plane that do perform very well in V2. Hi I googled for ESSA scenery p3d and saw that orbx had one ESSA scenery, http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/106288-essa-stockholm-arlanda-airport/. But where can I get it? Is it released yet. If not, realese date? And is is freeware or payware. I will absolutely get it.

Simmers, I'm having an issue in the sim, and I've been trying to mess around with my settings to fix it to no avail. The issue is in the ground LOD, wherein anything more than 50 feet in front of the aircraft becomes super blocky and blurry. The attached photo is from FlightBeam KSFO, though I have experienced the same issue at other airports. As for settings, I've basically tried with everything on max, and nothing is fixed (full texture, mesh, tesselation, LOD, MSAA, FXAA, and texture filtering) to no avail. The texture LOD still remains abysmal. Any suggestions on settings to play around with that might fix this issue? Thanks!!

I noted today that, if I have the water set to Ultra, a float plane bounces around so much that my passengers lose their lunches within seconds. But, If I back that down a notch, it's OK and I have much less clean up of the cabin. Has anyone else observed that? Thanks, Rick

For graphics settings with: Water = Ultra I've spent some time trying out different settings to "Try" to improve water rendering ... objective was to remove tiling and shimmers, I didn't fully succeed unfortunately. Has any installed this DiscusX V1.60 in P3D V3.1 I enquired at the Aerosoft Forum and I got the distinct impression that the developer had no problem with me installing it in V3.1 but has gone silent on the thread after I asked for instruction as to how to do so. I am using UT2 in P3dV3 and it seems my GA AI ( only about 50%) have this texture problem. They don't even load or appear later. I have searched the internet and these forums but I can't seem to find a similar topic. Any ideas ? Cheers Steve

Hello, I just noticed Prepar3d has been updated, and version 3.1.2 is now available. So far, I have updated version 3.0 to v. 3.1; what happens if I pass on this update, and wait a little longer, say, until v 3.5 or 3.6? In other words, are the updates cumulative, or do I have to keep updating Prepar3d everytime a new update becomes available? Enrico

I have started a pmdg ticket & asked in the pmgd forum as well for this but could i ask you guys as well I have replaced the old windows HD with a ssd, I hade a few wrong installs of p3dv3.0 think i was just to tierd shouldnt had started this realy . anyway i couldnt get the 737 ngx to work, in the end I decided to remove all the sim and do another complete reinstall. this is were I am now, I have formatted a separate ssd drive installed p3dv3.1. activated the sim did a reboot. Hi all, I have seen an update is available for P3D 3.1 How do you update this program? When I log into my P3D account I see a massive 5GB file, is there not another smaller file that you update the software with? Where and with what with do you update it ? The 'client' people speak of? How are people getting on with the update? Does it really make the PMDG NGX run faster. What happens with Obex scenery with the update.? Do you have to re-install everything? Thank you

Hello Just purchased quite a few regions and such from flightsimstore and when I attempt to register at http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/ , after about 15 seconds it says "something went wrong please try again". I had a friend attempt to register with the same results. Any idea?

I've been looking through the content error log, to the several messages I get from P3Dv3, and I understand what it says, I can find where the problem that's mentioned has to be found, but in most cases I dont understand how to fix them. I could ask per error what to do about it, but seeing it are quite a few and where different things have to be fixed, so it seems more useful to ask where I can find information about what the different errors exactly mean and what P3Dv3 wants me to do. Does anyone know where to find information about what to change in the .cfg files for the different errors that might turn up?

Hi, I'm having problems to introduce GPS coordinates, Latitude, Longitude, from Google Earth into my flight plan, in Prepar3D. As you may know, you can introduce waypoints directly in your flight plan, just by click over the red line that describe your route. For example, if you select a direct flight from airport to airpot via GPS, it will draw a straight line from your departure to your destination. Then you have a tab called EDIT in which you can edit that straight line, just by clicking over it, you will be able to introduce waypoints. I just started P3D Version 3.1 and as the opening screen appeared it started downloading an update. This popup appeared when the update was finished. "One of your product was updated. If your simulator is running, restart it to see every effects properly." After it started, another screen popped up for Immersion 737 and Airbus. Looks like that is what the update was for.
