Greetings to all, recently I have bought this model from Xtreme Prototypes and started to delve into this wonderful rocket plane simulation. The craft flies well in P3D. Depending on the ballistic trajectory, one can expect the flight range to be in excess of 300 nautical miles while the top of climb altitude reaching 300-400 thousand feet. Despite the in-sim limitations (like maximum Mach number is about 4.7, no proper rocket engine simulation within the sim) the craft is very much fun to fly. When I go into the P3D Flight Planner to load a previously saved plan it does not load the waypoints saved in the original on the first attempt, it only gives a Direct To version of the plan. In order to get the planner to load in the waypoints I had used, I need to clear the plan then Load it again. Is there a fix for this, or is there something I am doing wrong? R.

I rarely fly IFR with the default ATC in the sim, but somtimes I do if I lack proper charts or whatever for the airport I'm going to. If I follow the ATC vectoring I usually end up at 2000 ft. AGL for 15-20 minutes before I get to my desired airport, so my question is this, what decent rate do you think the default ATC wants you to use?

Im getting multiple errors upon loading this aircraft. I've installed it in its default location. then in the sim directory. it makes no difference were i put this. anyways here is the error. Error Encountered MMSystem - Unspecified Error Full Error Code 0x88780078 Location 10 File Its pointing to either the RASLegacy cabinet file or the RASLegacy_Sound_V2.gau file. I cant tell because the window size cuts off before i can read it. I am running windows 10 I7 6700k 4.6ghz 2x 980ti asus maximus VIII extream 16gb ram at 3200 mhz SSD for windows SSD Prepar3D v3.1 Maybe i did somthing wrong but i have reinstalled this 3 times.

Recently installed Socal ORBX.and since then Seal Beach SLI VOR 115.7 seems to have vanished! GPS still recognised it. Charts still include it. Has anyone else had this and how do I fix it? I'm using KSNA Sim 720 scenery too. P3D V3. Thanks. Cheers. Dean

I can not install FS GLOBAL 2010 MESH after i changed my Prepar 3D from V3 to V3.1 V 3.1 is a fresh install. I also dowloaded fs flobal mesh's latest V3 installer. It keeps saying " Not all the files are found and drive C needs to have more than 30GB space " My drive C has already more than 30GB and i have all the necessary files. Does any body has the same problem ? Any solution ?

Hi as I'm on P3D 2.5 and the only way to get bloom from lights is to enable HDR lighting, which just lightens everything up too much. Is there any way to get bloom without enabling HDR, or at least tone down the HDR and just have the light bloom? I understand there are separate sliders on 3.0, but im on 2.5.

Hello all. I am looking for a high performance single engine aircraft to do some touring with. I am admittedly biased towards high quality, system depth, etc. and would prefer native GTN750 support. I have both of A2A's higher performance aircraft, the 182 and the Commanche, but the Piper AP is not really to my liking. It works, and may be what I have to default back too, but I wanted to get the opinions of others on here. Believe it or not, I was looking at the Carenado A-36, but getting the GTN into the panel seems to be a project no one has tackled yet. So feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks for reading.

I'm wondering what everyone has found works best with v3 of P3D.. in the past i had used ultimate traffic 2 (ut2) but now with v3, wondering if this is still the best choice.. are they still updating flight info to the current year as well (less important to me)? I saw that people have gotten ut2 working in v3 and also my traffic v6.. it appears my traffic v6 is at least compatible with v2.5 whereas ut2 isnt technically p3d compatible, though both work.. so it would seem my traffic 6 is more "up to date".. Is there any other one out there worth checking out? Or between UT2 and My traffic v6, does UT2 still win on least performance impact? Thanks in advance

Once upon a time there was a program called active camera. It allowed you to sit at an airport runway and all arrivals and departures would fly right by you and you did not have to do any tweaking, they just tracked by and just set it and forget it. Is there anything like that for P3D v 2.5? I have heard about EZdok and Optus they don't seem to do the same thing as active camera did or I may not know how to use them correctly. The default camera settings are way too confusing and it's not a great option for me to tinker with P3D. Anyone looking to buy prepar 3d v3 for its massive graphics improvements will be in for a real treat Now Aircraft fly and handle very realisticly PS looking forward to buy some new addons that have been modelled using wind tunnel data etc so they fly as good as the new milviz t38 which I think is spot on note prepar 3d v3 flys and handles much better than p3d v2.4 !!!!!!!!!! to see the new flight dynamics in prepar 3d v3 temporaly turn all graphics setting turn down to minimum run at 1024 x768 full screen mode and you will see instantly the new core flight dynamics changes when compared to fsx so you know …

Hello, I just installed P3D, and I have very slow frame rates. In the 3D cockpit, I'm only getting 6 FPS and in the 2D cockpit, I get 15 to 20. I am not running any add-ons, and my computer specs should be just fine. In FSX, I could easily get 25 to 30 while running add-ons like active sky. Is there anything I am doing wrong, or is there something I should upgrade? (hardware or software) Thanks in advance, Jason

I'm helping a friend install Javier's Aircraft Carrier into P3D version 3.1 on his PC. On my system, which is version 2.5, Javier's Carrier installed correctly. I can't get it to install correctly on my friends v3.1......for example the pull down menu," Add-Ons" when running P3D is missing. There is probably an XML file that needs to be modified or a file that placed in the wrong folder. Any suggestions? Bill Clark

Hello pilots, I have read good reviews here about MT6. Decided to give it a try. I am using P3DV3.1 and I noticed on the Sim Market site that it is compatible through v2.5. Was having some issues with P3Dv3 crashing so I decided to do a fresh install and start clean in order to identify the problem. I went through and uninstalled all the addons I had then finally uninstalling P3D itself when I went to re-install it did not install the exe, only the associated folders (i.e. "Autogen" folder, "SimObjects" folder, etc.). I went to the P3D website and downloaded the latest verson of P3Dv3 and tried again, but nothing. I have tried searching for solutions but so far haven't found anything. Finally getting around to building my system from scratch and moving from 2.5 to 3.1 (in prep for Oculus Rift + FlyInside in the coming months)..Also rolling into a 980ti 6gb card from a 3gb 780ti on 3x24" screens (57600x1080), ill be sharing some results on that swap in the near future.. Its been awhile, so i'm wondering what everyone is using these days for clouds/ground textures. Seems to me, in the past I used to use Rex TD + ASN.. i think i used Rex Texture Direct for the ground and ASN for clouds. I also have Rex softclouds.. so i think that comes last. A few months ago i bought the pdmg 737 aircraft and i have to say thay i really enjoy it. I am still learning the sistems which from what i know are very realistic. In the case of the flight dynamics ive never seen people discusing about them, in my opinion the plane feels really smooth and behabe loggicaly. Since i am not a pilot or a 737 frequent flyer i cant provide a good answer to that, so what do you guys think, are the pdmg 737 flight dynamics accurate? Sorry for my bad english Thanks Ricardo

Hi everyone Last week I had to move my p3dv3 to a bigger hard drive-used acronis software. After few tweaks most things are ok ,except when I tried to install an orbx airport. The orbx installer shows the p3dv3 on the previous hard. It does not give the option to browse. Can someone please suggest which file do I need to edit so the p3dv3 shows on the new hard drive. everything is the same on the new hard drive except the drive letter. I can try manually changing the drive letter-but I am worried it may causes problems for other soft wares. looking forward to all suggestions. many thanks. Qas
