Hello Simulator friends, lately I have encounterred a unpleasant problem when starting subject Sim. Can anyone hopefully inform me why when starting the Sim the Loading Terrain Data and Auto-Generated scenery takes minutes (someimes approx 5 mins) and if so provide me with a positive solution? Hello, may someone can help me about this. in the load manager I select my fuel load and sent it to fsx. in the plane fuel is set correct, so far so good. want to test the refuelling feature so I loaded only 1000 kg in each wing but it is not possible to adjust any further fuel in the refuelling panel and get a real time refuel. greetings Peter

Since Nvidia Inspector is basically dead with v4 what is the best config for Nvidia Control Panel for Global a Program setting. I am dealing with micro and semi microstutters on takeoff and final app no matter what scenery or aircraft I use.. Thanks Randy Smith

Last week I updated to v4.2 and upon loading I noticed that the NUM PAD no longer worked for panning around the flightdeck and to look around the outside view. Later that day I downloaded the newest version of FSUIPC. Two days later I attempted to fly V4.2 and had the poorest performance I have ever had I then went back to v4.1 until I read a post that the new version of FSUIPC was causing major problems, I deleted FSUIPC and went back to V4.2 and found a workable copy of FSUPIC. I still am having problems with the NUM PAD panning. How do I solve this. Randy

While not exactly new to anybody since we all know Pete Dowson has (thankfully) access to the beta versions of P3D I found this sentence on his page: "Also, note that Version 5.124 will work fine with the next P3D4 update." http://forum.simflight.com/topic/80977-updated-modules/ P3Dv4.2 brought new functionalities but also a few bugs. Is LM about to release an hotfix for those as has happened in the past?

Hi, I find the default wing view to be unrealistic and it also seems clipped upon head movement (I use Track IR). Has anyone managed to set better wing views via the aircraft.cfg file? I do not use EZdok or Chaseplane. Thanks much! Shom

Is it possible to show a set distance on the ND beside of the radial? I entered for a waypoint the radial, lets say 186° and after a / the distance 10NM but it was not accepted via the line select key. The manual just talks about the radial... So no distance function on fix page?

Hi fellow pilots, I'm hoping someone in here can help me with a new problem I'm having. I upgraded to 4.2 and also swapped out my 6700k for an 8700k. After reinstalling everything, I've noticed that whenever I change views with Chaseplane, there are brief stutters and pauses before everything runs smoothly. What puzzles me is that these didn't exist when I changed views in 4.1 with the slower processor. I also upgraded to a gtx 1080ti, and the problem is still there. hello, i recently installed openlc europe ftx global base pack ftx global vector and the latest libraries. in the vector configuration i turned of frozen surface. i also ran the elevation corrections. I also have flytampa amsterdam instsalled but same with or withouth this addon enabled. But i still have these problems.: it looks like a nighttime picture in some parts of the map and than this problem: water running trough the buildings and forest. Can someone help me fix these problems?

Hey Guys! Please bare with me, I fly Boeing and Airbus and other birds in simulations for a few years now. But the Mad Dog is really something different, I like the challenges it sets for me. My Problem is that VNAV is not guiding accurate by any means... I was reaching the TOD on FL300 into EDDT via the MILG1C star for ILS 08R. As I reached the TOD I started early descend via the DES page "start descend" (I am used to do this approx 10NM out of TOD on my Boeing birds). I would like to upload to newly installed P3D v4 a DVD of OrbX New Zealand South Island purchased 9/3/13 from FlightStore order no WEB164263. The box states compatible with both FSX and P3D. However when running the setup exe file as administrator, I get the error message - Radio buttons>On Next Line 13: Argument 2 must be of type string. Stack traceback 1: (Radio Buttons> On Next) Line :13 in main chunk. Can anyone help me complete the installation. Thanks

Ever since I got P3D v4 I have been flying the default military helicopters in P3D, but I would like a good civil helicopter. I am looking for a EC-135, EC-145, BK-117, AW-139, or a Bell 429. I will look at other helicopters if those are not available. What can you guys recommend?

Hi guys, Big fan of ORBX products but the one thing I've never got away from using fsx/p3d v2/3 is the poor performance in ORBX England, I have just given it another go in V4, with a departure out of redhill in the A2A C172.. I was getting around 31fps and a little stutter.. Odd, but ok, lets see. I tested for a further 10 minutes, no improvment. I then turned off Orbx Eng regions in the scenery library and after the reload FPS average 45. For me there is a significant jump but, apart from GA airports, I don't understand why there is such a jump. Anyone else experiencing this or have any thoughts on the explanation? Alex

evening gents I dont know if its possible, but my Maddog is crashing my P3Dv4.2 , so far, exclusively in orbx's KSAN, with ALASKA airlines livery from GLC textures. I did a flight from Seattle to San Diego and got 3 CTDs while approaching. I mean, crash, auto save recovery, crash again and so on until I landed. Today I loaded the maddog into San Diego again with Alaska livery and crashed within 3 minutes without touching anything! Relaunched P3D and loaded default AA livery, and its been going about 20 minutes without touching anything and is still running at the moment. I havent tried other airports but, my flight went perfectly fine up until a…

I've been doing my research on various ATC add-ons and I was curious how many of you actually fly with ATC. I've been having a lot of fun just learning the ins and outs of PFPX, uploading flight plans into my new jets, loading flight plans directly into the FMS, etc. Then I noticed in Froogle's latest "fully loaded" he wasn't using an ATC (I think his old standby was/is RC). The thought occurred to me that I might not even need an ATC add-on but wanted to get some feedback on if you feel that it significantly enhances the overall sim experience. Hi! I like having the Play aural on AP Disconnect turned on. However - there is a problem. When I disconnect the AP via the glareshield, Betty will not shut up. In the old model, I recall having to press the yoke AP disconnect button to shut her up in the old 2010 dog. In this version, pressing the disconnect button twice, makes no difference. Betty will yell all the way down, and not quit. Is this a bug, or am I doing it wrong?

Am struggling to get a Co Route to install in Maddogx from Aivlasoft EFB. If any of you are able to do this I'd greatly appreciate a step-by-step. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for a GREAT addition to our aircraft hanger! I've been searching the forum for a possible answer and forgive me if this is a repeat - but - is it just on my rig but when I turn on the panel (back) lighting it's as if everything is out of focus? Don't know if I explain correctly but on the overhead panel and autopilot panel you can hardly make out what it says because it's as if there is a second layer that highlights the letters. I'll take a screenshot next time if this is unclear. Back to the tutorials because thousands of hours in a Boeing or Airbus means nada, ziltch, zero when you learn to start-up and fly this MadDog ...........

Reinstalling everything from scratch. Musing Trackir and chaseplane. I have Prepar3d controls enable (for my A2A planes) but all axis cleared and controls setup through FSUIPC. I haven't setup any controls yet for chaseplane. I jeep getting random instances where my view zooms out (from 0.6 to 0.13) and it's very annoying. I can't figure out if it is associated with a controller or sometimes it even does it when my Trackir loses tracking for a brief second. Any thoughts on where this could be coming from? Or is there a way to lock it at 0.6 zoom? thanks in advance Jason

Hello guys, I am just doing my first ever flight in the Maddog from cold and dark using the tutorials on ther YT channel. While I was taxiing, suddenly I lost power and the whole FMC was erased. The autopilot seemed to reboot but the data didn't come back. All other instruments kept working though. The warnings it gave me were 'no autoland' 'no windshear alert'. Does anybody know what I might be doing wrong? Cheers guys.

Hello! It happened several times. After engine startup, generators working well (with running APU), suddenly I lost power some secs, FMC loosing all programmed data. Any idea? Regards.

Hi, now after struggeling succesfully with the registration I sit in the cockpit. But nothing works. No switch is to move. I get a finger as the mouse pointer but no switch moves. Strange. I have no Menu Maddog X under the Addon menu as described in the manuals... Need help !! best Steff

Hi, I have an issue in the FSLabs A320, where none of the switches are operable, and the aircraft doesn't respond to any actions (be it thrust, flaps, gear, etc.) I have tried reinstalling, deleting generated files, etc. Any help would be massively appreciated Hubert

Hi, when calling up for the pushback, the selection window appears. I select a distance and direction and press the green checkmark. The procedure starts ok, but it never stops, the pushback continues forever. Any idea what may cause this? Thanks!
