I'm going to apologize for being completely blind but when you turn the assumed temp knob, where is the readout for it? I looked literally everywhere and can't seem to find it. Driving me batty. Used to setting it in the FMS on the newer planes. Thanks!

Hello guys. I just installed Prepar3d v4.2. A clean installation. So this problem occur when i installed Reshade into P3Dv4. I have no addons installed. Only FTXGlobal install. Before installing FTXGlobal, i tried with reshade its still the same. I kept on getting "Loading Terrain Data" stuck at 6%. Doing a fresh resinstall fix it but i really wwanna use Reshade to enhance my graphics. Any idea how to solve this? Reshade version 3.1

Trying to login to my Aerosoft account but zero of my products show up. Is the Bronco a new product for P3D v4?

I have a hardware nosewheel tiller, can be defined via FSUIPC or now also via P3D directly. However, moving rudder pedals and moving nosewheel tiller have exactly the same steering effect. Is there a chance to disconnect nosewheel steering from pedals, if a tiller is defined ? Maybe via Setup options ? Also moving pedals moves the nosewheel tiller animation in the cockpit. But moving the hardware tiller does not move the animated nosewheel. That's weird. Maybe something to consider in future version ? It would enhance the immersion even more. Mike

Hi! Today when I was trying to fly, I found that the Push back function of the Ground crew was abnormal. It didn't stop at all. I have set the distance and direction, but it just kept going back. In the end, I had to terminate the flight. Any fix fir this? Thanks!

Every now and then i get a aurial "Cabin Pressure" warning. But i can not set any cabin pressure.....or am i missing something? Kind regards, Ben

Small issue with the Maddog X fms not showing altitude and speed on legs after route entry, no ability to enter save flight plan from Simbrief. Suggestions? Running Prepar3D v4.2 Thanks for the help.

Hi guys...I use FSUIPC for my controller setup but need to keep controls in Prepar3d active for my A2A aircraft. I find Prepar3D has a nasty habit of resetting or changing all my deleted control inputs once I delete them. I believe there was a trick to delete all control inputs and then make the control .xml read only so that Prepar3d can't keep modifying it. Is that in users/appdata/local/Lockheed Martin/prepar3d/controls? My controls folder in that directory is empty...is that normal? Any advice appreciated Thanks jason

Hi! I have been struggling with the FMS of this plane for 2 days but still have difficulties making it work. I have loaded the plane with the load manager and I have input all the data into the FMS. Still, I cannot get a complete flight by the FMS because I always get "PERF VNAV Unavailable" on FMS and I cannot get the correct TOD point as it always set the TOD to the destination airport. I cannot get corresponding Alt/Spd of the waypoints in the FMS route plan (as in the pic) I did input the Cruise alt. So what have I missed? Besides, how do I get the "Start Boarding" and "Prepare to takeoff" work in the "Cabin Crew Communication"(Shift 6) panel…

Hi, I just did a LHR-SAN and SAN-LHR over the weekend. Enjoying P3Dv3's new VAS management I had between 1.1 to 1.2 GB free after take off on either flight in the PMDG 777 on Rob's recommended settings. After take-off from LHR I had 1.2 GB free until reaching Canada, at which point it suddenly dropped to 800 MB and further decreased down to 500 MB at its minimum. I could still land in SAN without OOM and about 400 MB remaining thanks to the improved VAS management, but it seems very strange that Canada just "swallowed" 700 MB of VAS that would not be released back. Today I did the return flight and again, just as I approached the Canadian border VAS dropped from 1.1 GB…

So, i just did a clean install of my windows and simulator, and during the nights, there is something weird with the sceneries. There is a lot of illuminated blocks on the land, and i never got something like this... (Screenshot) I currently have Orbx FTX Global, Vectors and Open LC South America installed. Spoiler

Hi After updating to latest version Academic_4.2.21.24048 from Academic_4.1.7.22841 I notice a distinct lag (black screen) with sound of aircraft running before the graphics appear showing virtual cockpit and airport System is Win 10 64bit, 16gig ram, Titan 6 gig GPU with all latest updates for Windows. All Orbx products updated, latest SODE, latest FSUIPC etc. Would appreciate if someone has experienced similar problem and could recommend a solution or any other advice from forum members to rectify this situation. First of all my specs I5 3570k OC to 4.4ghz 8gb ram GeForce 970 Barely a midrange system. I have money to upgrade. Maybe an i8700? New GC card? Then I thought why? With all sliders at least 3/4 across to the right I get 30fps in the aerosoft Airbus or ifly 747 or Coolsky dc9 and its smooth. Getting the last 1/4 of sliders I'm missing does not really seem worth it. Autogen at 3/4 is pretty full as it is. The catch? I don't use payware airports. Apart from London and NY I can comfortably fly anywhere and get good fps. I have vector, global and Orbx LC with free mesh x to keep the terrain exciting. I would like payware airports but they …

Hi all, Im usually the type to fly airliners but thinking about getting a regional jet for the shorter hops, I have the pmdg 747 as well as the majestic dash 8. Id be looking for something like an CRJ or something similar... perhaps even a single engine turbo prop to fly the simulated medevacs type. So, Is P3D lacking a decent regional jet or single engine turboprop? Thanks

Hi guy's, I don't get it....i keep struggling with the Autothrottle. On Take-Off i select 1.40 EPR and press the autothrottle. The autothrottle spools up the throttle levers until the yellow EPR limit indicators until "CLMP" mode takes over, thereafter right away the throttles are overridden by my throttle. When i at that moment have set my throttle to full it runs into a overpowering of the engines and when i have 1/3 of throttle (as needed to reach 1.40 EPR) it runs into not enough power to take-off. So autothrottle is disconnected at CLMP or my phisical throttle is overriding the CLMP mode. Why is the autothrottle kind of disconnecting (not that it…

Hey guys, I've had my 7700k for about a weak and I've been constantly trying new settings because I'm not sure if I am really getting the best performance. In Toronto and in the PMDG 777, I get 22 FPS, with my 1060 3GB at 100% load, and my CPU at around 90%, but normally dipping to about 70%. My VRAM usage was about 90% used, so maybe that is an issue, and I used these settings. I have ASN, REX, FTX Global + openLC North America, and GSX. Anything else I should try to do to improve performance?

While monitoring GPU and CPU activity during reproducible extended (3-4secs) pauses I have noted the following: 1. GPU usage plummets to zero and this is maintained during the length of the pause. 2. CPU activity (Of the 8 LPs made available by the Affinity Mask (1 on each core)) often, but not invariably, 6 (2-7) max out and this state persists throughout the pause before resumption of normal activity.
