I just purchased the RealityXP GTN 750 for P3D V4 and can not find out how to get it working in any of my A2A aircraft. It also does not help that I cant find any tutorial or PDF stating how to use it or install it in P3D. How am I supposed to figure out how to use it if there is not any information? I tried changing the GPS in my A2A Cherokee but that did not work, then I tried looking for add ons in P3D and did not see it, I launched the Garmin Trainer but that is not what I am supposed to do, I just want to figure out how to install the GPS in my plane, what am I doing wrong? Anyone know a safe place to get WAV files for the MD's boarding music?

While observing the model on a free flight, my yoke somehow deactivated itself, and my aircraft began to dive causing it to overspeed. Shockingly was when everything came back I began to pull the nose up and noticed the wing flex and then quickly snapping back into its rock stone position. I thought it was strange so I decided to check the animations of the model in 'Ai Aircraft Editor,' and to my surprise, the wing does have a wingflex animation. Why isn't it present in our flyable model?

Hi guys i’m currently downloading V4. I have been away from this site for about 8 months as i use Prosim and haven’t really touched V3.4 in like 8 months. I’m hoping you guys can point me in the right direction with what addons i can leave installed? I use - Uk2000, GSX, FSDreamTeam scenery, FTX Orbx, AS16 + ASCA and FS Global Ultimate. Do i need tweaks and what settings are best for a 78” samsung 4k TV?

How do I get the terrain to show on the radar? I noticed in a u-tube video it was showing the surrounding terrain. Could not find it in the manual. Thanks for any help. CaptMaC

Hi All Getting delivery of a new machine Would you advise a p3D v4.2 installation or sticking with p3Dv4 for the moment I have downloaded versions of both available on a backup hard drive I only ask because presumably I could get all my AddOns -planes especially-installed with less hassle in p3D v4 then update to P3D v4.2 as more AddOns become v4.2 compliant Or bite the bullet and be careful with AddOns-checking compliance before installation xxd09

This is a shot at KFHB on Amelia Island just to the east of the airport. I have another one at KJAX as well which is lower to the ground right by runway 28. KFHB is one of the free Orbx airports and I'm wondering if that is where they came from. Has anyone else seen these?

I’m using a 3rd party software for atc but I still like to keep track of ai chatter by turning comm 2 to the current center. Before 4.2 the frequency was displayed when ever one opened the dialogue window. Now I can only select the nearest airport listing. Did something change or is it something about my settings?

Hi Guys, Absolutely loving the aircraft - it has once again become the only plane I fly in the sim! I may have missed it here somewhere, but is it possible to tie specific options (Green Fuel QTY LED's, PFD Wired to Opposite NAV, etc) to a given tail or livery like the old version? If not, is it something you could consider for SP1? I fly a large fleet mix'n match aircraft inside a given airlines' fleet and its hard to keep track of what plane has what if you have to edit them each time you fly. Just something to think about! I just reinstalled my sim and now whenever I try and spawn at Heathrow, the sim will run for a few seconds then stop responding. Event viewer says it’s an apphang, event id 1002. It worked perfectly before reinstalling, and I’ve tried asking on Aerosoft’s forums to no avail. Ran the installer as admin, uninstalled and reinstalled several times, restarted the computer, tested different aircraft and it all has the same result. Any ideas on how to solve this would be much appreciated.

Hi, I have spotted a bug light problem on the OAP. When I dim the light, only the OAP display screens are dimmed. It should normally dim : OAP dispaly screens, Advisory lights and the Cue lights except the DOOR Cue light. Any idea why ? Best regards SR111

Does anybody know how to remove the annoying FSL's Recommendations prompt to change the Affinity mask? I get it every time I launch P3Dv4 (via SIMstarter) even if I'm flying a different plane. And if I select A320X it overrides my custom AM in a scenario no matter what I pick in FSL's Recommendations prompt every time I launch A320X. Very intrusive and annoying attitude from FSL btw.

Initially was unexpected and a realistic emergency. So today I start Prepar 3D and the Duke, do a flight and same gear failure, two green lights and no left main gear. I reload the aircraft and doesnt fix it. Any advice on how to fix this?

Have been updating the sim from FSX to P3Dv4.1 with Prosim 2.01, REX Texture Direct, Opus FSI, UTL, and a couple minor addons. I generally fly out of KCOS towards the west. I gave consistently getting a large amount of what appears to be high overcast somewhere above FL 350 that make the entire upper half portion of the sky white. I have tried a host of fixes that have not had much effect of the phenomenon. So this is probably yet another "will my PC run P3D v4" topic. I have a Gigabyte P37 laptop with an i7 4720HQ CPU running at 2.60GHz with 16GB RAM and a nVidia GTX 970M GPU with 6GB video RAM. My OS, Windows 10, is on a SSD drive and right now I have FSX on a standard laptop drive, but my laptop does have the ability to remove the optical drive, which I never use and install another drive in that bay, which if I do, would be another SSD drive. As of now with mt FSX setup I do not have any add-on aircraft, that is not my thing. Rather I focus on AI setup, with a focus on traffic that makes ports of call in Australia and New Zealand. I do have various ORBX packages…
