I received an update for the CRJ through the PC Aviator Site where I previously purchased the aircraft for PREPARED v4. During the install it stoped just short of completion with a pop-up that read; ' Cannot find the file specified. (0x2). Windows defender was off and the CRJ was not un-installed first, thinking I could install over it.

I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction as to how to properly set up my stick axis' for elevator and aileron control, twist axis on the stick for ground steering, as well as rudder control. I want to keep my throttle as is and also allow the button assignments on my stick to keep my views set up through Chaseplane. I also want them to be correctly calibrated via FSUIPC. I've seen some steps and I think I have it right but want to make sure this is the way to go. 1) remove all axis controls I don't want P3D controlling for the stick and rudder (make sure I keep stick enabled in P3d if I don't want it to be completely shut down) 2) go int…

Two specific questions pertaining to P4D v4.2 When applying normal braking using "." on the keyboard, slider set to the middle position, the brakes lock when the keystroke is applied. When the slider is set to the left positon, I have to apply continuous presses and this isn't practical or workable when stopping a larger aircraft. When applying autobrakes when flying a large aircraft, PMDG, iFly, CaptainSim, etc., the autobrakes to not engage on touchdown. They don't engage at all although the cockpit switch is set as 1,2,3, or occasionally 4. I do have a CH Yoke, but no rudder pedals or foot braking. Hi i am looking for some help, i have been using the pmdg 737 for a while and all was okay until recently my aircraft wont fly correctly and when i climb out of a airport and engage Lnav, Vnav the plane just randomly nose dives or banks left/ right, this is way out of my control because i do not know when this incident will occur. also when this malfunction happens i get a CWS yellow message on the PFD and the Lnav disengages, this is a very frustrating thing to deal with as i fly for many virtual airlines. i have looked for a few solutions even uninstalling the pmdg 737 its self. at first i thought it was my yoke but i also tried to debunk this by flying with the mouse …

Does everyone else not have the IRNMN1 arrival into klax and GNDLF an HOBTT into KATL in their fmc? The first waypoint on the IRNMAN1 of BURGL isn't in the fmc as well. My airac is up to date via Navi graph so I am wondering why I can’t get those as an option without manually entering. I am flying the FS320. Thanks

I'm getting ready to update to a USB 5.1 sound bar for my setup and was wondering if the Maddog has support for this.

After last update 1.0.4.0 I got 2 issues.. The Thrust Rating Panel is not lit anymore, and I got a WXR FAIL when starting the WX Radar.. Is it a fix for this or is it something that needs to be changed in the LM? I just can`t figure any of this out.. Everything worked as normal with the last update 02MAR.. But after 0.4 they don`t work. I just installed it on top of excisting installation and did not do a fresh reinstall.

After upgrading to 4.2 (client and content) I no longer have ATC after departure (only the nearest airport option is available) and no AI traffic which appears or disappears about 10 miles from the departure and arrival airports. How can this be fixed without having to do a full reinstall? I have already tried the repair option for both client and content and I did delete the shaders and CFG after the upgrade. Michael Jones

Hi! I have a problem with the AFT stairway , every time i try to use the stairway it wont open itself completely, i'm also having problem closing it, only solution that works for me is to load another aircraft state from the menu. Best Regards Mohamed Kaafar

Here is an odd one. A few days ago I installed the new KBOS scenery to check it out. It never loaded and there was a CTD. Since then I am unable to load any of the NE USA area sceneries and the sim just CTDs at around 1% when trying to load scenery. P3dV4.2 and it does load the default scenarios OK and other areas are OK. I have rebuilt the scenery.cfg a few times. Any ideas?

Hi guys, I've been having problems with P3D 4.2 for a week or so now. I seem to be unable to see the taxi or landing lights illuminating the ground from inside of the PMDG 737-800 Virtual Cockpit unless I pan the camera at a certain angle. I can see the lights fine if I choose an exterior view in EZDOK, but the Virtual Cockpit seems to have this very strange issue. I have recorded a short video showing the problem I am having in hopes that someone might be able to tell what the problem is? Hey all, I downloaded the ZIP file from simMarket, installed the software from the installer, but now I can't see the aircraft in FSX. Where am I supposed to install the aircraft to? I've downloaded it to 3 different places. The Load Manager works, but can't access the aircraft in FSX. Cheers! Ben H.

Yesterday I downloaded the full V4.2 zip. After backing up my V4.1 to another drive. This morning I ran the V4.2 installer. The message said the install went successfully. When I ran P3d it rebuilt some files and loaded fine. When I checked the Version in the Help tab it said it was V4.1. Ran the V4.2 installer again to the repair option. Still V4.1. This afternoon I uninstalled from Windows control panel. In there it showed the version as V4.2. I still uninstalled it. Ran control panel again it was gone. But the P3d V4.1 complete was still on my HD and worked fine. At this point I don't know what to do. Bill McCracken

Hey guys i may have missed somwthing in the manual or so Is it just me or the overall sound quality is not good? like I cant even hear engines spooling on take off even external they sound like the default aircraft am i missing something here?

I have been curious about Global Vector for some time, but now ORBX has a 50% off sale. Two questions: Does Vector cause a big hit on FPS or on general loading times? Does Vector really improve the look - is it worth it? I noticed when I first installed Pacific Northwest both my FPS and loading times took a hit. But I have gotten used to 25 - 35 FPS depending on the airport scenery and aircraft type. As you can see from below my system is not the speediest but that's what I have. Hi all, I updated to v4.2 this weekend and now UT2 is not automatically starting up anymore. I only used the Client update and as such, neither exe.xml nor simobjects.cfg or anything else was modified. However, UT2services.exe is not automatically executed anymore when firing up P3D. Now I wonder why? If I manually start UT2services.exe while P3D is starting up, UT2 works as intended and the AI planes are displayed. Otherwise, UT2 remains non-executed. Did something change with the v4.2 logic? Is it not anymore executed via exe.xml? Do I need to add the execution command somewhere else? Can this problem be related to those misterious SimConnect updates that resu…

I've been trying this flight KDSM - KDFW. Here is the route: KDSM DSM J25 DOSOA COODY HITUG BRDJE3.HITUG KDFW A couple of issues. The waypoint ROCKZ that is part of the BRDJE3 star looks like noodles all over the place. So I delete the waypoint and the plan looks ok. The second issue is there is a crossing restriciton of 11,000 at STONZ so the FMC has a TOD some miles out. It reaches TOD and then says TOD is another 86 miles out which puts me way past the airport missing all restrictions on the star. Could somebody test this to let me know where I'm doing this incorrectly.

I have had PD34 latest version for a few days running with no problems but today when I tried to go from full screen mode back to a windowed mode, the window went to the task bar and I was unable to bring it back up when clicking on it forcing me to exit the program. This also happened when I tried to widen the cockpit view using the setting at the bottom right just above the transparency setting. I run a second monitor and disconnected it, but still had this problem. Has anyone else experienced the window freezing to the task bar? If so what's the fix? Running windows 10

Hey Team, First, I want to say that this is my first Leonardo product, and it's truly magnificent. Well made, indeed! I do have a question for you all; why will my engines/electrical system cut out suddenly? The engine (which, I believe triggers the electrical cut out) will occur after engine start up, and/or immediately after take off. My initial flight was a success (with no eng/elec issues), but for every flight since, i've had my Eng shut down randomly either after push and start, or take off. Knowing that i've completed one flight successfully makes me think it's user error. What system/procedure could i be ignoring that allows this …

Hi all, I post this question here as it is not a PMDG problem, but rather TOPER issue. I have also posted the question on TOPER's forums but wanted to ask also here as the audience is bigger. I face a problem with TOPER for the 777-200LR. As you can see in the picture, TOPER advises to use an assumed temperature of 70C but the V speeds are in complete disagreement with PMDG's calculation. I have also put TOPCAT in the picture, where it suggests 50C instead and its V speeds are much closer to the PMDG. If I select 50C in the FMC, then the V speeds of TOPCAT match PMDG's agree precisely.. So, my question is why TOPER is giving wrong V speeds and more assumed …

Ever since installing the most recent update, every time I setup a flight in the Load Manager and transfer the fuel to the Load page, the CG changes to red no matter what the load-out. If I set the fuel in the wing tanks to zero, on the Load page, the CG goes back to showing "within limits". Put the fuel back into the wing tanks (any amount) an things turn red again. Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks,
