Hey everybody, I really love the A380, A350, and Cseries planes (probably in that order). Do you think there will be a study level addon (or anything near study level) of one of these planes some time soon (meaning in the next 2 years)? I know that these planes are damn complex, but isn't an A380 long overdue? Are there any rumors except for Matt Davies A380? I really hope that you can get my hopes up!

I've had MyTraffic Pro for nearly three years now and I'm wondering if it's the most accurate out there. The reasons I'm questioning this are:- 1) No matter what time of day I arrive at LPPT (Lisbon, Portugal) just about every stand is occupied and I always have to park on the apron. Many aircraft seem to stay there for several hours. The same applies to many other airports. Shouldn't the schedule mean they spend minimum time on the ground? Maybe 1-1.5hrs? 2) The latest schedule I have still shows lots of Monarch aircraft. Many of you will know Monarch ceased ops last year so an up-to-date schedule is required. Hey, Can anyone else recreate this issue in the Flight1 King Air B200 with it’s MFD? You can clearly see a massive drop in the frame rate when I move to the map page (80 FPS to 45 FPS). I am on an 8700k fully loaded and 1080ti. And clearly I am getting 75+ FPS before I switch to the page. I did a video with the copilot PFD off as well. And trust me with “smudges” turned off it does the same. Cluttered or decluttered it does the same. The map is zoomed all the way in. If I zoom out the frames pick up by about 10-12. All in all it’s an instant 30ish FPS drop when that map is displayed. Another important note is that with the system …

Folks I just got advice at REX forums that to get my Skyforce to work properly, that my P3Dv4 needs to have all three components updated for it to work properly. I have done several updates of the "client" but avoid doing the content and scenery parts with the belief that this will disconnect all sorts of stuff, IE basically a complete reinstall. Is it possible to update all three components without affecting various utilities and scenery and planes and some of the necessary tweaks that were required to make those work properly? Bryan

Hello people of Avsim! I've had many "bugs" from some of my FSDT products. I have listed them from urgent to not urgent. 1. GSX has no sound on P3D startup. I had this problem for months which has bugged me, but I couldn't find a permanent fix. When I startup P3D, no GSX sound are present besides the ground service people speaking, and the "beep" sound with GSX. But other sounds, like boarding and deboarding has no sound. The ground vehicles have no engine sounds. And the only way I fixed this was to "Restart Coautl" and sometimes "Restart Coautl and rebuild airport Cache" But I couldn't fin a permanent fix. 2. Just a heads up for those that do not know, Team FS KBT the ones who made the F-18E/F and the P-3 Orion for FS9 and FSX have updated their F-2A and F-2B for P3D v4. Hello forum users! For some reason, my FB scenery has flashing ground textures. When i'm on the ground, the textures flash so terribly whenever I move the camera around. I use chaseplane, and people told me to set ClipMode = Normal in the Cameras.cfg. So I did. But, the texture flashing is still present ONLY on FlightBeam scenery. The worst ones was FlightBeam KMSP. I have ORBX global, vector, and openLC North America. So whats the problem?

Really a basic question, does SkyForce require the .NET Framework 3.5 to operate correctly. My Windows 10 updater is corrupted, and I cannot enable that version of Net Framework. That is why I am interested in knowing if SkyForce uses it before I purchase it (I purchased ASCA which does utilize it, and thus I cannot actually get ASCA to work). I appreciate your help. Rob

Hello all, I don't post often so forgive me if this is in the incorrect area. Since I installed v4 I have not been able to alter the runway/taxi/ airport lights via REX texture direct. everything works fine in my fsx install but no matter which type of lights I choose and load into the sim when I load a scenario the lights are always that same color blob that the sim originally had. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Matt.

Please share your experience with your affinity mask for TrackIr. Are 2LPs on different cores enough? Perhaps, 4LPs on 2 Cores are Ok? Any observations that you made about it, please. Many thanks.

The beauty of the system is that it gives you the capability squeeze every ounce of performance from a runway and given conditions. In essence, its a comparison of runway limiting weight and climb gradient limiting weight. LM have confirmed that v4, as previously, does NOT merge different specified autogen files. However, Arno has said he will be updating ACM to support P3D4. If you havent heard about ACM but have suffered from problems with missing autogen, conflicting sceneries or commercial developers having semi public spats about who should control autogen definitions (think OrbX, FranceVFR and Earth Simulations) then ACM can help.. It is IMHO one of the most useful yet least known addons ever, and its free...who else here has used it?

I think I almost have my P3D setup smoothed out. But one thing I noticed last night while trying out my new Orbx Norway scenery is that the tiles when flying over top load but load slow and tend to keep sharpening. Is there any way to increase the speed of the textures becoming more clear and crisp? I assumed this was always linked to the LOD radius which I currently have at 6.5. Would FFTF help with this. I have FFTF turned off because the few times I tried 0.1 it didn't seem to help any. Small but maybe big footnote I recently junction linked all my Orbx scenery over to my HDD off of my SSD. I know this might have decreased the load times of scenery.

Hello, having a problem with FSUIPC lastest version and P3D v4. If i map the joystick and axis for a aircraft (like FSL A320), its applies to all A320 models. But with the MJC Q400 i have to remap everytime i use a different aircraft model. I take a Flybe model i have to remap, i take OA model -> remap, and so on. I don't understand why the modification doesnt impact all Q400 models like it does for others aircrafts ? Thanks

Hello Just a quick question, I have ORBX Global, vector and NA Landclass, all was fine and then I added ORBX Trees. At some default P3Dv4 airports, like KMCO, the taxiways are filled with numerous trees. Is there a fix for this? I searched the forums, and saw this problem in FSX, but I could not find a resolution in any of the avsim forums for P3D. Thank you

I saved a new default flight with my correct time zone in P3D, opened fs realtime, and it automatically moves back an hour when I hit 'set to now". Also the utc time is wrong in p3d. If I use the current utc time, the local time becomes incorrect. How can I fix this? It was working before daylight savings switched.

Hi all. New owner of this awesome plane. I'm having trouble with the cockpit flood lighting. I have the APU up powering the plane, and I can get the dome light on. I can get the actual instrument lights on, but the flood lighting for either the Captain or FO side won't come on when I rotate the knobs. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I am running the latest version from Simmarket, running the 32 bit plane in FSX-Acceleration with Windows 7-64.

Hi, I've been experiencing this weird problem with gsx on P3Dv4.2 wherein every time i ask GSX to deboard, refuel, cater etc. and when everything's done I cant open the GSX menu again. I tried restarting the airport cache but i still cant open the menu. Whats causing this problem and is there a fix for this? I already sent an email to FSdreamteam but still no reponse. Everytime when I switch off the hydraulic pumps, the engine reversers are retracting. I see it physically in the aircraft model and the control lamps lights up. Is this normal?

Hi all, When I activate the slats in descend on approach, the landing gear warning sounds. Pushing the warning horn button to stop the alarm, doesn’t cut the sound. It keeps on reappearing which is quite disturbing when preparing to land. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Jos
