Also why does prepard 3d not utilize all of the power my computer can offer. CPU never really goes over 30% Just curious kinda have come to terms with it. Thanks

Hi everyone, I just downloaded and installed the latest version of KSEA for v4.1, and the taxi lighting, and apron textures are barely visible with dynamic lighting on. I tried with DL off, and only a few taxi lights show up, and the overall lighting at night on the buildings, ground, and all around the airport is barely visible. Nothing like the v3 version I installed into v4, which was perfect in every way with the exception of poor performance with dynamic lighting, which is why I purchased this upgrade in the hopes that it would be improved. Anyone else having this problem? None of the other airports I have installed have this issue, so I doubt it's my lighti…

Hi I have a a i7-8700 GTX 1070 system, my setting including Affnixmask = 3028 and TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=120 following suggestions from the forum. But I got stutter whenever I look around and some AI aircrfats tend to have black texture and took long time to appear. Can anyone please suggest what's the setting for i7-8700 six cores to get ride of these issues. I'm not an PC expert so not sure about how to figure out which cores/threads to use, please jsut give me a number which you feel it is the best under AM. Thanks a lot.

They sure did. They are not shown as P3D V4 on there products page but if you already own them you can download via your Milviz account. release notes say V4 gauges and there is a V4 option in the installer. Finally some decent choppers for V4

I tried to install the Aerosoft CRJ into PREPARED v2. on my (E) drive. I get a pop up that reads; Feature Transfer Error User_FSX_AS C\Users\My Name\Documents\Aerosoft\Digital Aviation The system cannot find the file specified. I've performed the Windows Registry Fixer and while installing Windows Defender is disabled. I have Windows 10.

Just tried the new update and I still get a CTD when selecting the departure runway at SPEP. Support ticket sent. Very sad

These are quite extensive (cockpit prep covers 89 items) but useful during initial aircraft familiarization. Some Abnormal procedures are covered, and also some flight technique and limitation items. Hello, I am wondering whether the following hardware configuration is suitable for use with Prepar3d, latest version? I have not used Prepar3d before, and am not especially computer savvy. My environment would include Orbx and either ga or corporate aircraft. If it is not sufficient, I would appreciate any practicable advice on which components will need to be upgraded (to what?). Hi guys, I've bought a new system last year with the biggest thought I could remain on it for the next years without having big troubles with my prefered games Rainbow Six Siege and Prepar3D v4.2 (at the moment). But I must say that with "good" settings in P3D, I only get a average frame rate of 25 only. I use a Intel Extreme tool to have instead of 4.2GHz now 4.6GHz. | my concern is that for example Chewwy has a bit "slower" setup and hardware but is receiving around 50-60 Frames. I never purchased the P3DV4 license of FSUIPC. But as I reinstall P3D I wonder, should I calibrate my Saitek Yoke, 2 Throttles, and Pedals through FSUIPC? Are there benefits to it? Thanks

So I'm looking for some Horizon Q400 flights around California. I currently have: KLAX KSFO KSMF KSAN I'm looking at purchasing from ORBX: KMRY KPSP KSTS KRDD My question is with regards to the ORBX Airports being accurate (runways, taxiways, terminals etc) to what the Airports actually are today. I really don't like buying a field and then finding out afterwards that it has a runway extension, new taxiways etc. Thank you!

I am curious to know why the auto rudder still engages on my PMDG 737/800, even though I want it off and the box is unchecked. As soon as some wind is present it will re-engage without warning preventing the pilot from controlling the rudder. Remove the wind and save the flight and it will stay off until the next wind appears but the "auto-rudder" box is still unchecked. Is this a Bug of PMDG ? P3D V 2.5.1 problem ? (doubt it) . . . Or is there another way of disarming it for good ? . . . . . Has anybody had the problem before ? Thanks for your support. Maz

It seems Flight1 isn't the only vendor with a bit of an "under the radar" new airplane. Milviz' 310 has always been among the best GA planes available, but suffered a bit from a rather dated VC and so-so integration for RXP/F1 GPS units. All of that appears to have changed with the "310 Redux" as interior and exterior graphics look to have received significant upgrades to more modern standards. The GPS integration appears to have been greatly improved as well - at least from the panel shots. They've also included an airplane-locked version of the Rex/Milviz wx radar unit :-)! I entered a constraint (picture below) at 280 knots and 16000 ft for the STAR into KMIA but all subsequent legs did not update with lower altitudes....is this normal?

For a couple of personal reasons I am looking into getting a laptop than can run P3D (and potentially other games) well. I haven't used P3D before as I am an FSX user looking to make the jump across. The laptop would be hooked up to a display occasionally but I will prob only run it at 1080P max, not really interested in 4K or QHD. I usually run payware airport scenery, PMDG/Aerosoft/QW, Activesky, Orbx Global & Vector, Ai traffic package. Hi community, when I bought Mallorca X Evolution from Aerosoft, there were still the airberlin logos on the jetways. As you might have noticed, that changed, as airberlin closed their hub at Mallorca Airport. As I´m most probably the biggest airberlin fan ever, I´d of course like, to still use these textures on the jetways. But when I switched to P3D V4, I redownloaded the Installer, to install LEPA into P3D V4, but then, I noticed, that I didn´t save the jetway textures, so now my jetways are completely white, just like the real ones. Therefore my question, if somebody here still has the jetways with airberlin textures available and could send me the files "LEPAjetw…

Anyone seen what looks to be some sort of bug where after you switch view more than once your fps plummet? I seem to be getting this more and more. It can be on a detailed addon or the default mooney bravo. Also what happens when the fps drop is in the task manager it shows cpu core 0 and nearly idle. Typically mine will drop to 20%. Sometimes changing graphics settings will "wake" the core 0 back up but otherwise I have to reboot P3D 4.2 to get things working again.

Hey all, I've been looking into acquiring Aerosoft's MAP Frankfurt Professional, now that it's on sale. From the time of release, I vaguely remember people being not too happy with it, though, so I was wondering what the current state of opinions is surrounding this addon? My own impression is that it's lagging a little bit behind with other sceneries of this day and age, and especially the ground textures appear a little unrealistic to me (looks like the same tile texture is used throughout the entire airport...?). Hi everyone. Since first getting P3D, I was able to port over the default aircraft from Flight Simulator 2004. However, since P3D v4, I am unable to successfully port over these aircraft, most likely because they aren't compatible with the 64-bit architecture. The FSX aircraft still port over just fine, but the FS9 aircraft load up as invisible aircraft with no exterior or interior graphics. Only sound, and I believe flight characteristics (I haven't bothered to try flying them in their current state). Hi everyone, Running P3D v4.2 I can't recall noticing this before, I've heard mixed things about this being normal and it not being normal so i thought i'd come on here to expand the advise. When flying at FL340 i notice that the textures a little bit into the distance are blurry. I'm running an i7700k with a GTX 1080.
