Posted this at their support forum but no luck getting a response yet. P3D 4.2 with all simconnect installed. Almost every time when I close P3D I get the following error message. I need help: I use the P3Dv4 the plane I use is the 747-400 PMDG, I have controls Saitek, Yoke, Quadrant, Switch Panel, Multi Panel and Radio Panel. To synchronize and operate all these controls I do it with LINDA and the FSUIPC. The following happens to me: When I start the P3D automatically the landig gear is activated, that is to say, it raises the lever and changes its position, I lower it automatically, sometimes it happens to me when I am making a final approach and the landing gear is lowered, all this is registered in the smartcars and several times I have come to claim and invalidate flights. I am having some issues with my FTX setup. I'm running the global base, vector, and openlc NA. I am getting weird texture issues where during the day some patches of land show up as night textures or water textures and vice versa during the night, day textures show up in spots. Any ideas? I'm struggling with a strange issue, namely I had lost all the ATC centers (nothing suggested mid flight and with an IFR plan atc switches to "nearest airports list" once I should be handed to center, and the IFR plan disappears. Also, on map view there are no ATC boundaries whatsoever. My guess is that this is due to some corrupted bgl file, or the result of some scenery excluding or otherwise interfering with that info in the sim. I stumbled on a thread outlining the exact same issue in FSX from 2005 (I'm on p3d 4.2) but other than presenting the problem there was no solution there. I apologize if I'm in the wrong forum but I'm new to P3D and XPlane. I've been using FSX and now want to try P3D and Xplane also. I have an old system (i7, GTX 780, 8 GB RAM) which I plan to re-purpose as a flight sim only box running Win 10. I have two new SSD drives (250 and 480 GB) and one old 300 GB Velociraptor drive. I am having the worst performance with my new 4K display. Running a GTX 1080 , i7-6700, 16gb ram. 4k 28" samsung display @ 60hz. P3D V4.2 First the larger 4k display did nothing for image quality. To get decent quality still running at 4xMSAA. Getting terribly low frame rates, 15-20 fps. Outside panning, not a smooth pan, when the camera is toward the rear of the A/C get down to about 5 fps. Very stuttery. I'm not sure what to do? Is it 4.2? I have a decent system, not sure why i have such terrible performance. I have tried 30hz, 60 hz as well as turning vsync off with no luck. Hello, I am using some modified AFCAD files made by Ray Smith/Robert Catherall which can be found on avsim for some P3D airports. I am using P3D v4.2. It looks like the sim is correctly reading the files as they modify the airports (gates, taxiways, ...). However, it seems that GSX does not manage to use the modified AFCAD and still uses the default AFCAD. As a result, when I am loading a flight at a gate, GSX does not recognize the gate the plane is at. When I open the GSX context menu, it does not recognize the gate and I have to manually select it. Hi, Can someone tell me if this is correct? At engine start, the oil quantity goes from 17.5 to about 12, witch seems normal as the engines use a part of the oil. But after engine start, the quantity mounts again to 17.5. How can this be explained? I asked the question over at the Fslabs forums more than a month ago, but they don't answer. After installing the latest version, no change. Can anybody explain? Jos

Is there anyone out there using a Saitek x55 Rhino successfully with Windows 10 ? I was about to upgrade my Windows 7 system to something better but I have heard that there could be compatibility issues with the X55 drivers and Win 10. I have been very happy using the x55 and the thought of having to replace it at not an insignificant cost, along with the cost of a high spec computer, is tending to put me off. Can anyone reassure me that it will continue to work with Win 10 ? Barry Wells

Been using voice attack prior to P3d v4, with no problems. Somewhere between V4-V4.2, it no longer works. Voice attack is doing what it should with the proper key stroke commands, but in the game, no joy. I also so use Voice attack in DCS, with no problem. Something changed, I think beginning with V4, & I can't put my finger on it. I know some of you use Voice attack without any issues. Any help appreciated.
