Hello Folks, I recently installed FTX Global and LC Europe, some of the freeware airports remained default such as EDCP and EDWI. The strange thing is that most of other freeware airports work just fine. Anyone that has encountered this? FTX central is working fine, with no updates needed. Thanks in advance

How can I be sure my navigraph is updating in my sim? I show the most recent airac in the desktop app, and I get them into what I need via the updater (active sky, pmdg, fslabs, etc.). However, I keep finding stars and waypoints not in the sim. From what I can tell, I am pointing the updates to my P3d folder.

DOWNLOADED & INSTALLED FTX GLOBAL /openLC NORTH AMERICA / VECTOR / LIBRARIES.When I go to control panel an error states [ No installed simulator was found on your system!] FTX VECTOR Configurator will now exit . Well, my GPU has died. I did some research, and the best match for my CPU would be 1060/1070/1070ti. Now, i'd like some opinions and if you can, please post your P3Dv4 Settings, CPU and GPU, and what usagge(CPU and GPU)you have with P3Dv4. I'm saving for a new PC, so i'd like to buy a cheap GPU to use it until then, but it must be enough for Maddog. I was thinking about MSI 1050ti Gaming X, but i'm not sure if this one is good enough. Okay so I know there is a lot of stuff about this already on the internet but I cannot find any answers for me that work. When I go into a game my ORBX Textures take forever to load and i don’t know what todo. I read the manual in the learning center of P3Dv4.2 regarding accessing the Scenery Library. Per that manual "To access the Scenery Library On the World menu, click Scenery Library...." However, when I opened P3D V4.2 opened Options, World there was no option to access the scenery library. Is there a way to access it with a keyboard shortcut or some other means ? I am currently having issues viewing my default runways lights during nighttime flights; the runway is completely dark. I just realized that this was an issue since I mostly operated my flightsim aircraft during daylight. All other lighting seems to be operating perfectly (roads, buildings and other structures) even with the addon airports I have installed. The problem just seems to exist with the default runway lights for the default airports. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't recall having this issue before. I recently upgraded to 4.2 and also turned off tertiary roads at the same time for vector. Everything else has remained the same since V4. It's as if the autogen isn't lighting property. Here's what it looks like flying out of the middle of Los Angeles. Any thoughts on how to get cities brighter at night? I run ORBX base, vector, and landclass.

I have purchased many products and tried to install them, but its the third time i have to reinstall my windows as well as fsx, because my scenery libraries are disappeared after i installed several orbx products. I also tried to copy a backup of the scenery.cfg but its not working. im really frusturated and i have no clue whats the reason is. So i can only see the orbx products in the lbrary but all other scenery like the standard scenery of fsx are disappeared. Its also not possible to see the aircraft image, i cant understand this. Always if this happens i reinstall windows and fsx, but it happens again and again. Pls Help and sorry about my english.

I recall this issue in the past, in a previous version of Windows 10.. but I now know with certainty it exists in my install of Win 10 x64.. for those using the ch yoke (eclipse in my case) and pedals.. have you ran into this and ever found a solution? If these two are plugged in, the screens will never time out and goto power save or screen saver mode. It appears this bug has returned. I cant figure a way around it for now, short of disabling them in the device manager. What would be nice is, if there was a way to pro-grammatically, via batch file.. disable the two after an idle period is reached. I've tried everything to get around it otherwise.. differ…

Hello all, I am trying to understand what setting affects external lighting the most. It seems that sometimes, the lighting of my aircraft are perfect (ReaAir, C310, A2A) and then, for some reason, they hardly light the tarmac and taxiways. I have tried, when the latter happens, turning on and on HDR, same with dynamic etc. So, is there anyone setting that will affect the brightness of the external lighting?

Hey, I'm loving the MD-80 so far. It's a nice contrast to something more modern like an A320...it's old enough to require some effort, but not so old that it's incomprehensible. It also makes me appreciate the improvements / simplifications that MDD made for the 717 (using TFDI's). I have a few questions about navigation related topics - - As far as I can tell...there's no way to have VOR pointers on the electronic nav display, correct? I see the dial on the left that can put ADF needles on the nav display, but nothing for VOR's. Hello everybody, I see, taht at many airprt are double ILS antenna at the approach. These two are most the Add-on-objects and the standart P3d v4 antenna(look at the screenshots). Have anyone any idea, how I can remove the standart P3d ILS antenna? regards, edvn25

For certain Full FTX Regions, theres an option in the control panel that says Night Lighting Check this to disable nighting in this area for openLC NA. I'm not sure if this box should be checked or not? I have openLC NA.

Hello, I'm always using the Fuel & Load manager to compute required fuel from my flight plan and inject it in the aircraft tanks. I insert in the FMS the right inputs, and the same final reserve (usually 1000 kgs). But on all my flights, yet during the climb, The FMS displays the "Insufficient fuel" message. However I'm able to land each time with more that the planned reserve. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something, but what? Thanks for your tips

I keep coming back to the Maddog because: 1.it has lights at night with dynamic lights off. 2. I can crank time compression up to 64x and everything works, just really fast. Yes, it tracks VORs and all that. I just wanted to say thanks and point out these awesome features. I zip at 64x between VOR's, so I can cram bigger FS flights in less real time.

I am having a problem with Dynamic Lighting at KMIA. It is very impressive but when you fly into this airport at night there is no Dynamic Lighting. However, if you start P3D at the airport the Dynamic Lighting is indeed on (and is amazing!). But flying INTO the airport it is not. After researching it seems this is a common problem with multiple developers. I've been using a 27" monitor but I have a spare monitor in the closet that I would like to utilize. Is there an article that I can go to find out how to hook it up. I'm not very computer literate so hopefully the instructions would be fairly simple. I would like to use the extra monitor for my LittleNavMap.
