Tried posting in the FSFX forum but didn't get a response. I love the contrails on MOST AI planes in Ultimate Traffic Live using FSFX's PRECIPITFX however I've noticed that some planes (A388 and B772/3) have very weak contrails. They are there but very dim. I looked at the config files for these and everything looks normal. Just to ask around here. I have this problem. 3 out of 3 CTDs while selecting the DEP/ARR page on the CDU while i am flying. On the other hand when i am preparing my flight on the ground it is working. First flight took off while i was cruising tried to setup my arrival pressed the DEP/ARR and.. CTD Second flight i have set up my arrival from the departure airport before flying. Then i wanted to try it on the air pressed the DEP/ARR and ... CTD! Third flight exactly as the first one. Hi, I am running P3D 4.2, Win 10/64 and I am unable to introduce fuel with the pedestal fuel flow lever. It won’t move. I use the Mouse and have tried to grab the lever many different ways but to no success. Every now and then they will turn on, even then, I can not later move them to-cutoff. Makes the AC unusable I’m afraid and I love this aircraft! any help appreciated. joe

I have Drzwiecki but I just don't think it's that good. Especially Manhattan. the buildings look almost cartoonish, especially at night. What's the best setup for NYC area? Individual airports, etc. thanks!

Hi Sirs, Just downloaded and installed UTlive into my P3Dv4.2 and i was wondering how do i update the liveries? I noticed also that i dont have 777-300ers and some airline liveries are out dated. Also how do i model match the liveries to vpilot? Thanks, Francis

Hello Guys, I`m having this issue where while I`m using P3D and for some reason open Mozilla Firefox to look for anything or just to navigate through the internet, it kills my FPS literally sometimes reducing them for over 10 FPS. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you so much in advance!

After installing the update to Prepar3D v4.2 (uninstalling/installing client, content and scenery modules) MyTraffic 6 seems not to be working anymore. MyTraffic was installed in a previous version using Poppet's manual method and worked fine through all versions it was installed in to, except now for P3D v4.2. I checked if all settings were still OK and in accordance with what Poppet wrote in her "manual" and they are. Anybody else ran into this problem and found a workaround for it? Thanks, Hans

Hi, Fairly annoying issue for me. I am in Central time United States. -5 Zulu. So at 8ish AM I am at 13:--Z IRL, while in the sim, if I use 8AM/System time it sets the time to 14:--Z. Kind of annoying especially to see the sun when it hasn't risen yet. Also last night the sun had already set when I loaded in the sim. Sure I could set it back an hour each time, but then the aircraft clock is 1 hour behind, and I believe Active sky doesn't like that either but I'm not sure. Anyone have any thoughts? Does London jump forward at all? This would solve my problems I believe. EDIT: looks like London jumps forward on March 25th. In Theory this should solve m…

Hi all: Can anyone please tell me how to cancel the flashing red light on the FMA when the auto throttle is taken out. I find it very annoying while flying a short final and have the light flashing constantly. The reset button on the FMA does not kill the flasher. Anyone? Thanks Rick

I HOPE I'M IN THE RIGHT FORUM TO ASK THIS QUESTION: I have the A2A 172 trainer professional loaded in my P3D V4. When I load my flight, I have the inside of the cockpit totally stretched forward. Everything inside the cockpit is tiny. How do I set the view to show the view just over the front dash? Regards JP

Hi guy's, I am flying a lot in this fantastic airplane, wich quickly became my very favorite. Despite that, i have a few things wich IMHO should be improved. First is the VNAV descent planning in the FMC. It alway's sets the TOD point too close to the arrival airport and that causes a very steep descent (today more than 5.000 ft/min) on wich i still came in to high (and to fast) for the approach. Flying online with fiends (same route, 30NM distance in between our aircraft) last friday gave this outcome: the Boeings where at the TOD 40 nm earlier then the Maddog, because of this late descent i had to drop my self down as a rocket. Could you add something in the Load Manager where I can just type in my ZFW and the Load Manager will balance and figure it all out for me?

Hi, last night I updated my client to 4.2, and now a number of my add-ons which were installed via the add-on.xml have gone missing. I think I got most of my scenery back by copying the add-on.cfg from appdata\roamimg\Lockheen Martin\P3D v4 to the one located in ProgramData, but alas my RealAir Legacy will not show up again at all. Can anybody offer any tips as to how to get it back? Thanks Jack

Hi i just installed orbx's PNW and now my Ksea airport lighting isn't fully there, there are no taxiway lights, for Rwy 16R/34L there no approach lighting, center line lighting, end of runway lighting, TDZ lighting or runway lead off lighting and I've looked at the charts and the do have all this lighting at KSEA. whats going on? I'm using P3D v4 and i have your scenery above orbx's. i also had to remove the two orbx KSEA file due to me getting double jetways. i have pics put i'm not sure how i can put them in this post.

Hello, minor issue here. Sometimes, not always, clicking on the ND to close the pop up, makes the AP to disconnect. Am I the only one? P3DV4.1 Thanks and safe flights.

Tonight I tried the TDS (737-700) IN p3d V4.2. The plane itself worked fine in the sim, but I could not get the panel to work. Does anyone know what to do so the panel works? Also I downloaded 3 paints for the plane and all the textures were in bmp format. Should I change them to dds format?

Hi there, Something i have noticed since using a fresh install of P3D 4.2.. When i'm on approach to an airport, with every flight the sim randomly freezes for 2-3 seconds. I was told that it might be FSUIPC and after checking i am on the latest release so i don't think its that. Does anyone else have this issue? For some odd reason its only on approach. I thought it might be scenery loading in but after checking it has nothing to do with this as it happens well away from the airport.

Hello. To start off, I have tried many fixes for this issue. I've tried affinity mask - this only results in the main one core being used 100%, and setting priority - does nothing. In X-Plane, I get even usage across all cores, however, in p3d, I get 10-25 fps in a pmdg747 (My friend has the same specs but a different brand of cpu, intel) and gets 40-50 fps in a 747 cockpit with flytampa boston. Now, I need to find a fix so my aircraft will balance usage across all cores. I am really confused. I have hyper threading on, and it usually uses all cores at cruise, but usually has the work put on 0,4, and 6. On the ground, core 0 is at 100% while the others are at 10-20%. CAM,…

Hello Everyone, I need some help with setting up my sound configuration. I have always flown using 2 headsets, one for me and one for my dad(Co-pilot ;)). After starting a new flight today ( LOWW-EHAM) I noticed I wasn't hearing the engines, I was able to fix that. But then I wasn't able to hear the clicking sound you would hear from the switches. So I started looking on the forums, I saw a post where people were recommending to use a speaker and a headset, speaker for p3d and headset for ATC sound. I thought that would be fun to use. So I grabbed my old speakers and plugged them in. Strangely, they did not show up. The speakers are a bit old, and bot…
