Hi I couldn't read the text near switches on the upper deck panel it's blurry Is this normal ? because of old aircraft? it's worse at night than day time.. I am flying in P3d V4 i want to attatch a picture but there can be only sharing URL...

Hi all I am new to prepared3dv4.2 having switched from fsx,i have downloaded the global ai ships versions 1 and 2,however the readme files only explain how to install for fsx,nothing for prepred3dv4,i have tried this forum together with other forums to try and find a answer,but i cannot find a simple step by step guide for a "old guy" like myself,would really appreciate a simple "how to" to install this package Many Thanks Gulfstreamm550

Hi folks, P3dv4.2 has been working fine. Today I updated FSUIPC5 version 5.124 and then did the update for ASP4 Open Beta Update 022818* with P3D v4.2 compatibility 6633*. I don't know wether it is related to my problem, but the ATC is greyed out and cannot be accessed, I have made no other changes. In the Extreme Prototype Learjet 25, I turn on the electrics but now it makes no difference, No ATC. In the Cera Cim AS365, I hit shift-1, activate ready to fly, does not respond, so once again no ATC. Any idea on what I should do? Brian BJ from OZ

H all, need help please, have upgraded to p3d v4.2, I tried to open ATC window by pressing scroll lock, the window comes up but cant click any selection on ATC window like nearest airport, contact tower etc. appreciate if anyone can help. many thanks and regards to all

With either GPU or APU should you not see voltage and frequency on the L and R selectors of the load meter? I watched a video CBT on the MD80 on Youtube and it showed with either external or internal power you should have voltage on the left and right systems. I noticed in the X-plane version of the MD80 they model this correctly which at first I thought they modeled incorrectly.

Hi, Does anyone know if there is a setting in the P3Dv4 control assignment options or in FSUIPC5 to enable mapping of the LO (intermediate) setting on the Beechcraft Baron 58 to a panel button or the keyboard? I can toggle both pumps, or either individually, from OFF to HI - mapped to a button on a panel using FSUIPC, but I can't find any way to select LO (other than with the mouse, which I want to avoid as much as possible). There only seems to be one option in the FSUIPC list (Fuel Pump) and also only one option in the P3D controls - ON or OFF, both giving HI for ON. Or, if LO is set with the mouse then the assigned button/key will toggle between OFF and LO, but…

Hi all Is there any reason my PC would randomly restart in the middle of a flight? I am running version 4.1 on the i7 6700k @4.6 ghz (it also restarts at 4.00ghz) and a 1080ti card. I have automatic restarts switched off and I do not get a blue screen of death. It just goes black and restarts instantly. I don’t even receive an error in the event viewer. Any help would be appreciated.

Installed the updated model today and tried with RL and TG enabled. FPS 8. Both disabled FPS 60-70. I have a SLI setup. But I have an issue with my cockpit panel lights without RL. I can only switch them ON or OFF and ANY of the panel light switches will control ALL panel lights. Am I the only one?

I'm looking for free or payware Toronto city, CYYZ and CYTZ. For the airports I'm leaning towards FlyTampa's CYYZ and FSimStudios' CYTZ. Any opinions? Anything known to be indevelopment? TIA!

Hey , I have noticed today that all my sceneries have disappeared from the P3D scenery library. Also in the morning i uninstalled fsdt scenery and then all the troubles have come.

I tried to find answers to this but was not able to and hope you can help me. I have been using PFPX and sometimes simbrief to export flightplans into my PMDG planes without any problems. I am now trying to do the same thing with the FS Labs a320 and Maddog but it does not work for me. I do not see the FSL 320 as an option to export to, same with the Maddog. Do you know what I can do or if there is another program which does the export where I can find the flightplan under co rountes? Thanks so much Bernd

Hello! So I recently turned my head towards smaller jets and seems like Carenado has the biggest choice of those. There are two problems though: a) we all know how bad their Proline/G1000/Universal is b) I am totally opposed to fitting everything with GTN750. So I noticed a thing called ISG Simavionics. On paper it looks great, but it's very, very hard to access any reliable information since their site and forum seem to be offline most of the time. I would have some questions to my fellow simmers then: Does ISG1 gauge pack work in P3D v4? And my second question is - if anyone is actively using it, could they maybe point the way …

I finally bought Sky Force to use with Active Sky. I installed everything correctly and turned off the weather engine in Sky Force. I load AS first, load in my flight plan, and then SF. I've noticed that the weather in the few flights I did was slightly off so I was wondering if there are recommended settings that I need to make sure are on or off within either application to ensure things are running correctly. For example, flying out of IAD on Saturday called for rain, overcast skies and 3 mile visibility. I had no rain, good visibility and broken clouds. Flying into JFK a day earlier, I had gusty winds coming out of the opposite direction that the METAR was telli…

Hi all, If i select a Thrust mode i see no any kind of activation light somewhere. Also on the panel itself is no indication if push a button light. Only the EPR limit is moving. Thats all. I suspect somewhere a confirmation about the selected mode. Regards jo va Bra

Does anyone have any tips for surviving a CTD mid flight when you have add-ons tracking your flight? Not looking to avoid the CTD but looking to pick up where I left off. I am flying the DHC3 from Milviz. My addons are AirHauler2, projectfly and the GTN750. What can I do to protect myself so I can reload the flight and pick up where I left off with those 3 apps mid flight? If I do an auto save with say FSUIPC every 15 minutes can I possibly restore all those after crashing 2 hours into a 4 hour flight? What about my GTN flight plan? I key it in before each flight. Hello again, is it possible to set the speed in the FMS Legs apge for a certain waypoint? I used to do it in the PMDGs or FSLabs Airbus by typing e.g. "145/" so that I see afterwards 145/3000 instead of currently 170/3000 But this input does change the FL instead of the SPD... many thanks

I'm doing a brand new install of 4.2. I own all the FSDT scenery and GSX though haven't used many of the airports in ages. I was wondering what airports you guys thought were worth still installing? Any airports that should be installed with modifications? Any just too outdated? i hate the add on manager. Many suggestions or advice welcome Thanks, Jason

I need help with greeting rid of stutters. If anyone has some settings to share I would love to hear them. I have tried reducing settings, affinity masks, process lasso, rebuilt cfg, oc'ing to 4.5ghz, nvi settings with frame rate limiter on and off at 30fps and half refresh rate. No matter how high my frames get or how low they get sim has the annoying stutters and blurry when panning around in and out of vc. Using Windows 7 bit P3D v4.1 Chaseplane for views. Also have Gtx 1080 card. Running at 1080p.

Hi guys, I have installed pmdg B77W then installed Airac 1802 by Navigraph. I have done 2 different flight without any issue. But today i decided to fly to LTBS airport. I started preparing the aircraft. But when i select LTBS as destination fmc warned me that '' RWY 1 is not available'' so i looked at the arrival page of this airport and have seen that there is no rwys ,no stars and no app. procedures. So i checked '' Prepar3D v4\PMDG\SIDSTARS '' there is a file named as LTBS.txt and inside of it seemed good. What can i do to get approaches of this airport? Regards,

Hey Guys! I posted this as well in the VRS forums, but I’m posting here to see if anyone has ever seen anything like this. I finally got the Superbug to work right using native VR with P3D V4.2. I am now getting weird visuals when approaching and landing on the carriers. When I’m on the overhead at 800 feet, I can see the support structures of the ship, but not the deck! What the Hell is that?! The actual markings of the deck slowly appear as I’m coming over the ramp! Once I turn off to a CAT, I can see elevation issues on the deck itself. Any idea what that is and how I may be abled to fix it? Reinstalling AICarriers2 and the Nimitz did not help. Is also happening wi…

Hi everyone! I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse but... Like the title says P3d disappears after the start screen. I've tried deleting P3d and starting with a fresh copy of P3d I've downloaded all my planes back into P3d and my planes work fine until I download Navigraph 1802 rev 1 to my PMDG planes, then everything goes south in a hand basket. Before that when I installed the Navigraph update into my Carenado planes and PMDG planes I got a black screen. I've been at this all day and I'm about ready to take a #6 ball peen hammer to the whole blasted computer. I've tried deleting the Prepar3d.cfg file and the Prepar3D_Default.fxml and Prepar3D_Default.wx. Other than st…

Does anyone have a reasonably complete list of the routes that American and Delta flew the MD-80's back in the heyday? Maybe around 2000 ? I really prefer to fly real world routes (or ones that were flown in the past) and this would be a great list to get.

Hi all, I recently updated to P3d V4.2 and had some messed up looking tiles and i read here that people reinstalled orbx and it was fine. However after doing that while the night textures showing through the day and the funky squares are gone.
