Before I submit a support ticket, has anyone else been able to get the dome light to turn on with battery power only? I cannot. According to the manual, the dome light should be the only light to turn on with battery power only. Regards, Rob

Hi Guys out of sorts with flightsim for a number of years, but back again. Opinions please looking for the best UK/Europe scenery for P3D v4.2. Looks like a minefield out there. JR

Ever since I installed v4.2 I lose sounds when I move my mouse off the screen. I have several screens and this was never an issue before. On the sounds tab I have unchecked "mute on lost focus". Any ideas?

Im sure I posted this in the wrong forum, so my apologies. I purchased FlyTampa KBOS from Simmarket. Regarding the download, I am given to files one being in .exe file and one being .dat file. Do I need to install both of these, and in which order? Thank you for your advice. Robert

Hi is there some way of disabling Real Light but keeping True Glass active. Unfortunately Real light seems to kill my computer every time I turn it on. (unless I use the lowest settings which look terrible) So I would prefer to fly with Real light off and True glass on. Is this possible?

I've been very happy with my sim performance recently, especially after updating to v4.2 HOWEVER, for the 1st time in ages, I tried a night flight, and the performance drops through the floor:-( If flying the NGX or something similar, my frames can even drop into single figures, making it simply unusable. Even with dynamic lighting off! Anyone else getting this with 4.2?

I have all the Orbx NA FTX regions installed. Included in those regions if CYYC The issue with Calgary Orbx is it has the old Runway 16 instead of the new 17L and 17 R layout. So I downloaded a couple of months ago, Ray Smiths CYYC which has the update runways. Last evening I flew into CYYC, and I saw that I was back to the single runway 16. I then went into P3D scenery manager, and I saw that all the Orbx scenery regions had been moved to the top of the scenery list. My P3D add on folder which contained the updated CYYC was now down in the 30's layer. Apparently when OrBx did an update, which I ran about a week ago, it moved all their scenerys to the top of the stack, wh…

Hi! is anybody able to tell me which texture (from which product) is being used in this video at around 0.13-0.15 seconds. Their product is compatible with P3D, however it makes no mention of replacement Runway Textures.

Just to be shure. There is no Cockpt TooTips in Maddog. Would help a lot when trying to learn the cockpit. /Thomas ESNN

Hi everyone, I'm asking the following to check if there is something wrong with my sim or if what i'm seeing is normal. I'll firstly mention that i'm using ORBX Global and Open LC Europe. If i load into an airport and then change the weather within P3D to snow, I notice it re-loads the textures and they look different ( More Wintry ) I then notice that if i turn the snow off, My textures start to look a little crazy. I have some areas which look snow covered and then some textures which are green. Would this be normal? I'm assuming that once you've had snow in the sim you need to re-load something to correct the textures?

I am looking to purchase DD NYC Airports for P3Dv4. Does this app allow you to disable or not load one of the airports? I am asking because I am considering buying ImagineSim's KLGA, and I would rather use that version of KLGA. Thank you for your information. Robert

Hi everyone I was wondering if anybody has experienced a change in brightness levels after upgrading to P3d v4.2 ? It seems the clouds are highly saturated now... and are depicted in BRIGHT WHITE when flying high. I had to change my saturation levels quite a bit in PTA addon to fix it. I know all shaders structure have been modified so perhaps that's where the answer lies.... thanks! Pat

I have a small problem where I am not sure if this is normal. When I roll to the gate after landing, suddenly all the displays go off for Speed, HDG, Altitude and so on. It seems like the autopilot is rebooting. The engines are running, I have not done anything on the electric settings. After a few seconds everything is back to normal. Does anyone know that?

I cannot pull up the views panel using shift + 1. Obviously something is trapping that key combination but I sure can't find it. Is there any way to change the default shift + 1 key combination to bring up the view selector? Or can a key be assigned to toggle the yoke visibility? Found it..... Shift + 1 was not assigned to the panel view 1 event in P3D

I bought payware airport KPIE and the AutoGen NW of the airport for a few square mile is not visible. I contacted the dev, but I received no help. Is there anything I can do to bring back the missing AG? Thanks.

Hi everyone I have many Australian and USA airport sceneries installed in my new P3DV4 world and now I need a good regional aircraft. I do have the Majestic Dash 8 for my shorter hops but it wont cut it for longer cross country stuff. I have had the PMDG B737 (and B777) in the FSX world and was very happy with them but i was annoyed about the pricing policy of PMDG and me having to pay full odds for it again for P3D. I was told it was due to licencing issues but no other company in the FSX/P3D world seem have these same issues and approach it this way. They have also recently said they are going to do an updated version which no doubt will mean i have to pay full…

I have the doors open and I have tested the PA successfully but I cannot tell the cabin crew to start boarding ? It was working fine in 1.02. Have I forgotten to do something ? Anyone know how to get the sim to start boarding ?

I used to fly a different plane/airline/flight every time, but I realized that this way I don't spend enough time to learn/enjoy the particular aircraft, so I think its better to fly 4-5 legs each time before changing to another aircraft. Do you have a plan on how you fly or you find it more enjoyable to pick a random flight each time? Just curious.. :)

Hi, I install the pmdg 737 and I have some problems . When I start the flight I select cold and dark ,but when I prepare the airplane for pushback and start engines, Engine 2 Show me low oil pressure , I checked the oil quantity and it was 12 ,but engine 1's oil quantity was 15 . please Help me ? So I, like many others on this forum, am not a big fan of the sounds included in this aircraft add-on. Don't get me wrong, I love this add-on and really am shocked how much I enjoy flying this plane. I just want it to sound better. My question is about how the sounds are handled. It appears some sounds are left to the default sound engine contained in FSX/P3D, especially the engines. These are easily replaced and configured via the sound.cfg file. But it looks like many of the specialized sound effects are not and that there is no way to replace these sounds (the sounds with volume control on the setup/sounds page in the load manager as shown on page 9 of the user ma…
