Any chance this can be implemented in the future? It’s a great feature when I get caught up doing stuff around the house and come back to P3D, it’s nice to be at or near TOD with the sim paused ready to finish the flight.

Is it possible to keep the Pilots Edge open on the desktop while using P3D? Every time I want to talk to ATC I have to go down to the task bar, click on it to open Pilots Edge before I can transmit, which causes a delay.

Hi here, As the promotion for the Maddog finishes tommorrow, I hesitate to Buy it. I 've already the MD Rotate on xplane. Do you know if there is a big difference in term of systems simulation? I know the Maddog has indivual FMC but it's not a big deal for me. Thanks. Regards,

Done a few tutorials but on the COMMS the Takeoff and Landing is always grayed out. What am I missing?

Hi guys, my FTX installer will not get past looking for files to update. It just sits there at 78750/78789 and causes serious slow downs on my computer with 100% CPU usage in the task manager. I've left it in this state for over 2 hours before, and it still never downloads. I have downloaded and attempted to install the manual zip file. It looks like it installs (yellow bar goes all the way), but then the installer tries to download vector again, and the whole process of hung "looking for files" and high CPU usage happens. I was able to install NA LC and FTX Global; Vector is the only one giving me grief. Anyone else have a clue as to what's up?

I've noticed that my textures don't look good. Look at the screenshot. There are black areas, which are changing it's state cyclically during the flight. Look at these black squares - it looks horrible :( In that view I have almost 60 FPS. What is causing this? Is this related with shaders or scenery? I have ASP4+ASCA, ENVTEX & ENVSHADE and some scenery addons.

Hi, I've installed the Maddog X in both P3D V3 and V4 but the load manager makes reference only to P3D V4. Is it possible to have both installations and both load managers? Thanks, Frank

Hey all, I downloaded the ZIP file from simMarket, installed the software from the installer, but now I can't see the aircraft in FSX. Where am I supposed to install the aircraft to? I've downloaded it to 3 different places. The Load Manager works, but can't access the aircraft in FSX. Cheers! Ben H.

I have struggling with 2 problem for a while now and can't find any solution to why it happens and how to fix it. My ATC communication works fine for IFR clearance, taxiing and take off. Once airborne it stops working after a while and the only thing I see in the ATC window is: No message to transmit to anyone. Nearest airport list. It looks like the ATC has lost me somehow. Sometimes I can get a new IFR clearance and if I am close to my destination ATC will follow me until touchdown. The second issue I have now is the AI traffic is disappearing. At the airport they are all showing up, both airlines and GA. When I am flying I can see them until the Airlines…

Hello, I have had not too much flights till now, but we have also very cold weather in germany currently. But on the flights I made, I never got fogged or frozen windows till now (with Anti Ice off of course) Can some users tell me what the conditions have to be or which weather settings I could make to get fogged/frozen windows. I have prepar3d V4.2, running windows 10 64Bit. I'm running the installer as admin. I appears just after I hit the next button. What can I do?

Do you need to uninstall the current version of FSUIPC (5.121b) on your system before you install 5.124? This is in regards to updating P3D from v4.1 to v4.2. Thanks.

Hi, I've noticed that the strobe lights only flash when the nosewheel is off the ground. Is this a MD design feature? I was under the impression that strobes were mandatory when you entered a runway. Cheers!

The new update for the CRJ is out. Requires P3Dv4.2 in order to update. Aerosoft CRJ 1.0.5.0 Before I even think about updating my smooth running P3Dv4.1 I'm going to wait to hear some reports. I've been disappointed with all the previous updates and the LNav issues.

Hi all: Let me begin by thanking the Leonardo team for their response on the brake issue. The latest version fixed the problem in my FSX. Works fine now. On another subject, I am seeing some difficulty with the aircraft capturing the localizer and tracking when on AP. It seems that she starts the turn but blows right through the capture heading, then she loses her way and heads off into nowhereland. So I kick off the AP and hand fly the approach. I have been using no more than a 30 degree angle on the intercept heading. I notice the yoke is thrashing back and forth without a lot of response from the aircraft. Hi, In the (superb) MD80 i experienced some things i want to bring up here. I have read the manuals and worked my way up the aircraft. While flying online at IVAO i had to switch over to Romania Control, wich was using a frequency that was also enabling the LROP (Bucharest) ATIS in the simulator (P3Dv4.0). This ATIS was turning me "craizy" with its ongoing and continious messages while the IVAO controller was also speaking to me. I tried to turn down the volume on the radio control panel of the MD80 but was not able to turn it down or off. Neither on the CPT or the FO side. Hello, How many computers can you install this airplane on when purchased? I would like to install it on both my desktop and laptop and I want to know if I must buy it twice. Thanks.

P3DV4.2 - just recently when I start cold and dark, both of the FMA's do not "Light" and are totally dark. If I load ready to start they are fine. Am I missing a light switch to light them up or is this a bug? I am using real light and glass at 4096. The only thing that I have changed is adding FS2Crew
