Hi I have just bought Maddog X P3d4 64bit. When I start the installation, it automatically goes to drive C. My P3d4.2 is on drive F. I can not get it to drive F. I have some files from my old P3D on drive C that I can not remove. How do I get started installation program on the F?

Good morning, I dont know if I missed a step here, but I am getting a constant PERV VNAV Unavailable message on my MCDU. It appears to be flying correctly and i tore through the manuals while enroute to see what was what and I was unable to see what I missed. Based on this message, is there an obvious step I missed? Thank you. **Side note if there is a RTFM comment out there, could you at least be so kind to tell me which PDF file to look at? Thank you**

Hi! I finally solved the issue of FMS. However, there is another issue. When I line up the rwy ready for take off, the windshield became so bright or blooming~ (can barely open my eyes~ haha) What is the issue or have I done something wrong?

Just starting today, I’ve been having a problem with P3D 4.2. Basically what happens is I’m flying in the PMDG 777 and all of a sudden, it freezes except it doesn’t freeze. I can still interact with the plane, like switch views, push buttons, etc but the plane is unresponsive to flight controls, even though the animations for the flight controls still work and display. The addon menu is also unclickable, they all show up in the list but when I click on them they do nothing. Any ideas?

Anyone tried it yet? I just checked PCAviator and it looks like it's now available for p3d v4. Unfortunately, it's not available to download from my original order. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hope that I get a response from pcaviator usa ASAP. I like this addon so much that if i don't hear from them today, I might buy it again. Also noticed that one of m favorite airports LHS - BUDAPEST was also updated to v4. That one was available in my simmarket account.

I saw a post in here that gave the steps on getting those two working together. I am thinking of buying SkyForce and use active sky so I was wondering how easy that would be to get working together in terms of install and setup along with PTA. Also, my plan is to get 4.2 once FSL releases it so would it be better do wait to get SkyForce once I install 4.2 or should it not matter? When I went from 4.0 to 4.1 I don't believe I had to do any reinstalling of Active Sky so I wanted to see what people have seen so far.

I would be grateful for any help / suggestions. I updated 4.1 to 4.2 by removing client, content and scenery then re-installed in that order and validated. I updated ASN, Envdir and Orbx to V.2 versions deleting and rebuilding shaders but I am left with see-through terrain. My scenery library is fine. https://imgur.com/hxFwzB4 Any ideas? Thanks Stewart

Hi guys, I have been out of the hardware game for a while because I have had an Ailenware Aurora for about 8 years. It finally gave out today. Just for space reasons, I was looking into gaming laptops. I was wondering if anyone has had any good reviews on these. I have been looking into Origin Laptops, I want something high end that can run P3d V4, high end add ons, Orbx, etc. Suggestions?

hello, I have the X56 pro flight stick, the stick is with lots of buttons that can be set in the simulator. The problem is that when I try to set certain things in the settings of the simulator for the PMDG or the FSLABS A320 such as F / D, Cockpit light, altimeter,It does not work. Most of the options I mentioned do not exist in the simulator settings. Does anyone know how to set the buttons effectively? I have a lot of buttons on the Stick and I use a very small part of them. thank you.

Did anyone notice a flicker of the overhead texture when ever the apu or gpu busses go online? Not a big issue but happens every time.

Hi all, just purchased the Maddog X P3dv3 32bit today. I read in the doc's that at teh end of the installation proces i will be asked fot the path to P3d. But this screen does not appear? I am sure I am doing something wrong here. I read that it should be instllalled in the C:\user\myname\MyDocuments\Prepar3D v3 add-ons folder. Is it necessary to create a Maddog folder within the ...\Prepar3D v3 add-ons folder before installation? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Norbert

With the release of Pacsim's KRNO, it brought my attention back to their VFR Appalachia product. It would be great to populate this part of the world with some airports, however I can't seem to find much info about how compatible it is with Orbx OpenLC. Also how does the port over to P3d V4 stack up for the price (not expecting Flytampa, just value / visuals wise)? Thanks in advance for your thoughts and comments.

First of all thank you for this nice plane. I realized some little issues. First: If I put in the arrival (STAR and RW) during flight the NAV will lost. I've to DIR TO to next waypoint. (Tested 2 times) Second: Some times during flight AP and AT are disconnected without any actions from my side. third: Capture LOC and GS (ILS approche) are very tricky. Some times the plane captured both on the third try to land. No bis things I guess but a little bit annoying. Best regards Frank

Hello people! I set "HiFi ActiveSky" on the load manager and want to request ACARS weather info via FMC. But that not work for me. I get no weather info. I'm using ActiveSky on a second computer. Could it be the problem? With FSL A320 and PMDG it's working fine. I'm using the lates Version of MaddogX (1.0.3)

Hi! I am using P3D v4.2. This issue has bothered me for a while after updating to v4.2, and it has never happened before. After I start P3D, I always encounter an issue and it only happens in the first flight and first move. That is, if I push the throttle or touch any "axis" on that hardware( ThrustMaster TWCS), the fuel flow (lever) will be cut down to zero so the engine was out. It happens to default plane and other add-on planes, too. However, if I start it again or start another flight, this would not happen again. It only happens at the first flight everytime I start P3D. Today, I was on climbout of PHX on the IZZZO6 Departure just passing USEYE intersection, when all of a sudden I experienced a CTD. The faulting module was maddog.dll. I was in a VNAV CLB when it happened. I didn't touch any buttons or anything immediately before it happened. Support ticket has been filed. I have a question that may be very elementary but it has me confused. When I rename a scenery bgl file to "off" and then delete the "off" so as to reactivate the bgl file the visual icon of the bgl stays white or blank and does not reactivate. Is that normal? If so, is there a way to get that bgl file back? Do you have to reinstall the whole scenery to get it back? I thought that you could turn the scenery off and on by renaming it but it never works for me. Am I missing a step in the process somewhere. Thanks

I am thinking of buying this airport as for me it links CYYZ-Midway- KMSP I see it's got a patch for v4, I don't expect it to be as amazing as there new work, but what's it like? Looks and FPS wise?

How to proper use the Air foil anti icing system ? I turned on Air foil anti icing during flight, only to get both "AIRFL ICE Press ABNLM", "L ICE PROT TEMP LOW" and "R ICE PROT TEMP LOW". I tried to both open and close the PNEU-X Valves, but still got the warnings. Finn Jacobsen
