Please the airport terminals not shown in p3d. I reset taxi layers and works( the taxi ways were not shown before I reset them). Can someone tell me how to reset building layers ? I use ADE and freeware airport.

I need your advice I am unable to use FTX Central to download and install Netherlands TrueEarth because there is simply not enough room on my C Drive for a temporary download or to install on my dedicated P3D (H) Drive. SO Therefore this afternoon I purchased 2 new SSDs and am having a technician install them tomorrow morning as follows: C Drive is going to be cloned from the existing 240GB SSD to a new Samsung 860 EVO 500GN SSD. For the life of me I can't remove Drzewiecki Design Seattle X Demo from my scenery.cfg or scenery library in P3Dv4.2. I have followed the ridiculous instructions of removing it that says to run the installer and just uncheck the boxes and then delete the Seattle X Demo folder from the Addon Scenery. First of all, its absurd not to have an uninstaller but that's another topic. It just won't go away and the scenery demo is still installed. I've deleted the Seattle X Demo entry from the scenery.cfg file but every time I load the sim, I get an error saying the Seattle X Demo area can't be found and asks if I want to unload the area. Hi, since update 1.0.3 and of course with 1.0.4 I can not hear the boarding music. In version 1.0.2 it was working very well. I tried different .wav files. Can anybody confirm this issue or is there a failure on my side?

I am on P3D v4.2 and I use ASCA full dynamic, as well as Active Sky 16, i have tried every fix i can fine but nothing has worked i would very much like some help as i dont know what to do right now, it feels like something in my simulator is missing without cloud shadows, thank you.

I have edited and edited this KMSP AFCAD with ADE and had pretty good results. But no matter how hard I try it seems like the AFCAD file is more of a suggestion of where to park and AI will ultimately park where they want. The biggest (only) reason for this is that a lot of times smaller aircraft will park at a heavy gate which of course limits the parking options for heavy aircraft. There will be dozens of small gates open but an RJ will decide to park at a heavy gate. At an airport like KMSP with it's limited numbers of heavy gates, this logic can really mess things up and defeat the purpose of an AFCAD. Of course the logic a least works properly in rever…

I am reinstalling P3Dv4.2 and have encountered a very frustrating problem. Wondering if anyone has encountered similar problems. When unzipping the file or upon installation, winzip reports checksum and or/hash total errors and aborts the unzip or install process. I have tried downloading the files individually, I have used different pc's for the download, I have used different browsers for connecting to the P3D download site and initiating the download eliminating every combination of variables I can think of. I've really had it with P3D's slew mode nonsense. Same hardware as a multi-year FSX install, all settings and control assignments have been checked, re-checked, re-checked, and checked again. EVERY time the Y key is pressed the aircraft goes wildly out of control at high mach numbers no matter how quickly the pause and freeze movement key is pressed. Really LM, how is it possible that this was introduced? Aircraft are minutely controllable yet slew mode is convinced of full control inputs. Is the uiautomation bug still an issue in P3Dv4? I am asking because I seem to fairly reliably get a strange problem when I have been doing a lot of fiddling with the menus. I have not investigated this methodically but I thought I would ask first. When this happens P3D stays running but the reliable symptom is that Windows no longer responds to mouse clicks. The mouse pointer is visible but clicks are ineffective in any application. The mouse pointer soon also slows down to a crawl. The situation appears unrecoverable and if I try to shut down Windows it hangs at the 'shutting down' screen and I have to do a hard reboot. BTW I also notice that my LINDA events stop w…

So I have a 512gb M.2 SSD on my Windows 10 pc with P3Dv4.2 installed, it works great and I like it a lot but it's becoming too small for my needs. To that end I've purchased a 1 TB M.2 SSD and my question is this.... The current SSD is setup as drive D and has just one folder on it that contains P3Dv4, can I simply move this folder to a temporary location on my C:\ drive, install the new SSD and set it up as D drive in disk manager, then move the folder from the temporary location on C:\ back on to the new SSD D drive...?? Any info appreciated.

Caution, Always print out your invoice and license information. I have tried to retrieve my license data for P3d v4 but because this data is associated with my original email address, Lockheed cannot confirm my license data or its contents, so I cannot use P3D v4 which I paid for. I did print out the invoice and license data for V3 and that works, so forewarned is forearmed or four legged or whatever. Ron

I've been playing P3D, and sometimes, GSX has no sound. The inly sound I can hear is the "beep" sound and the pushback officer speaking to me. But, sounds like boarding/deboarding I don't hear. Sounds with the GSX ground vehicle engine sound I do not hear. And, I've checked in the GSX settings and the sounds are fully on! What's going on?

Is anyone using the special REX textures for PTA. I'm confused. There is an install button yet it says not to install it, that PTA will do it? Not being sure which to do, I hit the install button (seemed logical), went to PTA and selected the preset. Looks like all went well, but, I noticed that the "installed" REX textures had not changed from what I had before. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I am more than a little miffed as to why A N Other cannot get P3D because they are not in training or a member of a club. I find this attitude rather discriminating against other non members, who as serious simmers would benefit and enjoy the P3D platform. Chandyrauf

Visually, it looks great but sadly being 32 bit FSX sp2 is now showing its age and im sick of the constant OOMs when i fly over London or approach Heathrow.
