Can someone please explain to me how to install urp 1.2 beta in p3dv4 i cant get it to work everything looks the same.

I'm not getting any GPWS altitude callouts in P3D v4.2 with the default aircraft or add ons, are these available by default or do they have to be enabled somewhere or what..?? Any info is greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is a OpenLC or Vector issue with Orbx or if this was in default P3D/FSX but I get major stutters in the area around the Clacton VOR in the UK. Did a quick search but couldn't find a fix. Anyone else experience this and have a fix?

I am running P3D v4.2 with no issues other than this that started only a week ago and I can't seem to figure out what caused it. When I choose a specific aircraft through the P3D Change Vehicle menu there is only one aircraft that I have just started having this problem with - Carenado C208B Caravan - like I said earlier this never happened before. The aircraft is shown high in the view window and when you choose to fly that aircraft when the airport and aircraft loads the aircraft comes down with a loud thud Can anyone inform me as to what causes this? here is a screenshot... Hi all, I now notice when loading into a flight before the scenery appears the screen seems to be completely black for a little while. I've never had this happen before. I know there is an issue at the moment with the PMDG 747 and a black screen and CTD but this is happening to me with default aircraft.

Hi Guys ....sorry for this basic question but I am sorrily not so familiar with computer stuff due to my age. My C-Drive which is my maindrive on my PC is running out of space and I don't know what programs I could delete without disturbing any installations. I realized that my P3D Addons for my P3Dv4.2 is also located in my C-Drive. Is it possible to simply copy that Folder in my D-Drive which has Terrabytes of space left and where my P3D is also located or must these Addon-folder with all the installations remain to where it actually is? Hello, I flew into FlyTampa Boston Rebooted twice. Once in PMDG 777 from Amsterdam and once in PMDG 747 from Frankfurt. Both times, when I entered the STAR procedure, my fps dropped to around 10-12 and stayed like that till parking and shutting down the sim. Had to use autoland in order not to crash, hehe. At first, I thought that my settings are just too high, but the strange thing is - if I load a brand new scenario at KBOS, it's very smooth (30 fps). I departed from KBOS back to Europe with no problems what so ever. I expect the second departure to be the same. It doesn't happen at any other airport (to the best of my knowledge). Hi Folks, Maybe one of you can help me out. When hovering with the mouse over the Alt meter of the C-47 Beta 3.14 of Manfred Jahn, it doesn't display the mmbar or inches, the meter itself is not quite readible. I want to take this bird for an IFR flight in The Netherlands and the TA is 3000 feet, so above that it's standard QNH. Any suggestions on how to make the gauge readible?

Hello, I just had to reinstall P3D from scratch, due to some scenery loading issues, and upgraded to P3D v4.2. This is a completely clean install, except for the A2A Commanche installed. Earlier, I used to be able to get a smooth 25fps in the PMDG 737, with ORBX Global, and payware scenery. But now, after the reinstall, the frame rate wont go above 20, and is usually around 15. This is in the default Mooney, at the default P3D startup airport. I have tried editing my affinity mask, FFTF entry, turning off shadows, but it still wont go above 15-20 fps. Also, earlier, when running v4.1, the CPU use on the main core (core 2) used to above 95%, with other cores chip…

I'm about to start upgrading the Jetline system I purchased 8 years ago to be P3D compatible. I've listed the original equipment (unless stated otherwise), and the components I'm thinking of upgrading to over the course of the next 8-10 months. I'm thinking things such as the chassis, power supply, DVD should not need to be replaced, but was unsure about my current CPU cooling unit handling the upgrade. Let me know your thoughts about the upgraded components I'm thinking about getting and if you think they will give me 20-30 FPS on average(which is what I shoot for allowing for a drop when at/using more complex addons). I recently went through and did the 4.2 update by removing the client, content, scenery etc.. then installing each. Prior to doing this i had all carenado aircraft working perfectly in 4.1x.. all the craft are v4 ready etc. I know that going through and reinstalling each aircraft one by one does seem to restore things, but i'm trying to recall what folder or files may have gotten removed that i could restore to save some added effort here? I'm fearing even non carenado aircraft may have random things wrong that i may not realize as well. I have a backup of the simobjects folder before the update.. i was thinking i could just do a replace all on everythin…

For some reason, my DC-8 flashes when I pan around the VC. This happens in P3D v4 and v3. (yes it's compatible with v3) Heres a video:

I recently had a "surprise" upgrade over my old but very decent 3700k, getting a i7-8700k paired with an MSI GTX 1070. Both of them Overclocked to 5.0Ghz and 2050Mhz respectively. No issues until today. No changes to anything... GSX says that there's a SODE jetway in the parking position configurator. However, it throws an error stating that "no jetway can operate in this position" when you try to operate the jetway through the GSX menu. However, you can without any problems operate the gate via the SODE menu. What gives? Anyone experience something similar? Happens at every airport with SODE jetways.

Hello, here is the scenario: I fly at a specified time (not system time), for example when I'm replicating a real world flight. I get a CTD for whatever reason and luckily I have FSUIPC automatically creating saves. However, when I load such a flight, it automatically loads at system time. Which is kind of a bummer because I have to change the time and load the whole thing again. Is it possible to load it at the correct time? Thanks, Tomas

Sorry for this ultra basic question. Trying to get SODE to work with my P3D4. The installation goes pretty well up to a point where the Platform Manager is running, then locks up, declaring that SimConnect is not installed, and suggests that I install what looks like an earlier FSX version of SimConnect. Is this right ..... I thought P3D4 came with SimConnect, and that everything would fall into place. Any help appreciated ..... have I somehow got a 32 bit version ???? Cheers.

Since the beginning of p3dv4 I used LFPG as my main hub. But when I installed ORBX i got some weird issues like this: and also this: Do you guys have this issue? Feels really dissapointing, as it's one of my favourite airports and it's very detailed. Tried AEC fix, and even re-installed the airport. If you got to fix it, how did you do? Best regards, Charly

hi I only get this error message when using a2a Comanche which I installed using the a2a installer a search brought up this question but no definitive answer if this causes any problem or how to get rid of this message. jim

Hi, I am using P3D v.3 and ImagineSim's scenery for WSSS. I have the update from FSX to P3D, but I think there is something missing in the AFCAD. The taxiways and runways are like rolling on dirt. The plane bounces a lot. Is there an AFCAD that I could download to fix this issue? Many thanks 🙂

This scenery has been working well but suddenly and for some unknown reason some of the terminal buildings are missing. I've removed it and reinstalled it and used the xml method and also tried by adding the scenery to the scenery.cfg, in either case buildings, etc missing. The executables are LatinVFR_KMIA_P3Dv4_4.1.exe and LatinVFR_KMIA_P3Dv4_4.1patch.exe, installation with or without the patch still give same results. Have tried to post on their forum after login but apparently I'm not allowed to post. A bit weird. Would welcome some feedback from anyone who has experienced this issue and has managed to fix it. thanks

Hello, is there a chance to increase the taxispeed? I downloaed a ai_player.dll file which is vor P3D v4.1 but it does not work with 4.2 and UTL

I've bought these add-ons and not it seems they're not working. Both are installed and I've also downloaded latest FSUIPC version. Details in P3D are set to the highest. How come I'm not able to see the graphic improvements?
