Please I want to know what is affinity mask and how it works ? How can I set it for p3d ? My specs: Intel core I5-8250U Boost 3.3 Ghz. Stock lenovo ram 6 gb 2400Mhz Seagete 5400Rpm HDD AMD Radeon 530 . Boost 1.024Mhz. Windows 10 Home X64 Bit .

Got the A320X, loads perfectly and the normal stuff happens. But, after loading, the game is black for 10 seconds, then crashes. I uninstalled reinstalled and rebooted every time. I'm scrambling, i need help!

I have been out of the hobby for awhile and thought I would jump back in with P3D v4. I'm all set with scenery (ORBX Global & NA regions + Flightbeam, FSDT, and FlyTampa airports), weather (ASv4 + ASCA), and aircraft (Maddog, PMDG, and a ton of GA planes), and now I need to pick a number of products to flesh out the rest of the sim. I've got a week to weigh my options, purchase, install, and configure as that is the remaining time left to me before I go back to work after taking time off for the birth of triplets. Hi all, P3d V4 has been giving me several CTDs, most of which have involved the sim freezing for 5-10 seconds, followed by the sim "disappearing" entirely. All of a sudden, P3d completely vanishes with no error messages or warnings at all. Nothing is shown in Event Viewer. Has anyone run into this issue?

Since Pro ATC X version 1922 was released, and actually since 1920, I have had two issues with this update. It is triggered by ATC instructions either from Clearance Delivery or after TOD. The audio for the ATC instruction plays, but the text box does not start displaying at the same time. sometimes never appearing ( only the audio portion works) . When this happens, P3D becomes unresponsive either for a couple of seconds, or in the case at the TOD, for a much longer time. This unresponsiveness is clearly seen by the spinning circle and also by Task Manager, performance monitor. Hello, Spoiler a new Addon (I think the new Tokio Haneda Installer) crashed my scenery.cfg file with asian letters.I had to delete and built it new. Now I have a change in my overview camera. If I try to look from the higher atmopshere I got a blue planet without the whole countrys.

Is Traffic6 compatible with Prepar3d v4? I install the file in Scenery Library, and the check mark is in there, but when I go to ProgramData/LockheedMartin/scenery, it is not in there. C:\MyTrafficProfessionall\MyTraffic. Does it need to be installed in Program Files, not (x86)

There are still a significant number of available scenery products unable to perform correctly in P3Dv4. I have 35 sceneries of international airports installed from a variety of developers. I am therefore having to test which sceneries are performing correctly. To do this, I am flying into/out of each airport in a grand tour through The Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australasia. Hello all! I'm having a strange problem in Prepar3D v 4.1: everytime I use right mouse click to turn a knob or flick a switch, the simulator stops and freezes for a few seconds. Then the screen flickers, the switch or knob changes position and the right mouse button menu opens. It started after upgrading to 4.1. I'm using 60 Hz refresh rate, unlimited frames and vertical sync. Video card is NVidia 1070 GTX.

Hi All, Anyone else have an issue with p3d v4 shutting down in the middle of a flight. I was making a flight from KBID (Block Island) to KBHB (Bar Harbor) vfr with both ORBX airports installed for those two locations in the Carenado Phenom 100 (w. navigraph installed),all seemed well, turned on final approach and.... black screen and p3d shutting down. It's not the first time this has happened and it seems to occur with complex aircraft and scenery. It's like I had an oom error but those have supposedly gone away with 64 bit simming. Just wondering if I'm alone on this one. LouP

I have an PCIE NVME SSD 512gig drive. It is roughly 1/2 full with about 219gig free with P3D42 and a full-up suite of ORBX NA scenery. One day as experiment I turned on compression in the drive properties - it took about 20 minutes. While the free space remained at 219gig I noticed that ground handling was much smoother at my ORBX airports using CYBD and L05 as examples. I didn't connect the improved ground handling to having drive compression enabled until I turned compression off. When I turned compression back on the smoothness returned. Can anyone reason why enabling drive compression on my SSD has a beneficial effect? Regards bs

I just recently changed my motherboard to a newer model. Afterwards I configured everything to where I had it before (talking about my bios settings). But in my sim something weird keeps happening. Whenever I select my usual aircraft (carenado S550), I can move my joysticks hat around and I get smooth frames. But whenever I select cold and dark option in the aircraft, or if I manually turn off the battery, my frames still remain high but my screen stutters. This has never happened to me before. I have vsync on so my frames should not go above 60 since that is my screens refresh rate but oddly enough it’s jumping above 60fps. Whenever I turn vsync off it doesn’t make a dif…

I did some searching but wasn't able to find the exact answer to my question. One post about P3Dv4 compatibility said you need the Next Generation version of FS Global but I'm wondering if that statement mainly is about the installer or also the actual mesh data. Anyone who knows?

Hello Folks: Some help please. What is the lbs fuel capacity for the center, left, and right wing tanks? When I try to load the fuel via the load manager, I seem to be able to add as much as I want (100,000 lbs) for example and it takes it. And, what is the normal flap approach setting, 28 or 40? Hi, The following airports, for example, Venice (LIPZ), Genoa (LIMJ) and Dublin landing Runway 28 (EIDW) seem to have changed frequencies and /or amended their runway headings. Any ideas to help remedy these issues? I am running P3D V3 and virtually flying the Aerosoft Airbus 318-321. I have tried to input other sourced ILS frequencies into the radnav but without much success! Thanks for any help you can provide and apologies if I have duplicated this topic.

Hello everybody, So I recently ran into an issue while flying out of London-Heathrow and London-Gatwick. Every minute of so my sim freezes, sound continues and everything else stops. After around 30 seconds the sim then unfreezes and continues as normal. I've managed to eliminate an airplane issue as this happened in the PMDG and the FSlabs and I'm 75% sre its not a scenery issue and I've tried with Aerosoft EGLL disabled and UK2000 EGKK disabled. This is only in the London area aswell as I do flights in the US all the time and this has never happened. Any Ideas? - Lenny

I am using P3D v4.1 and X-Plane 11. I prefer P3D for all the add on's and aircraft that are available. Plus the atc in X Plane is useless, but the scenery in P3D is starting to get a bit repetitious. However, I have been making my own scenery in X-Plane using Ortho4XP. It is totally mind blowing. It's nearly like the real thing. Now, if only there was a converter to convert Ortho4XP tiles to a FSX or P3D format. The perfect flight simulator............. I have played with FS Earth Tiles but wasn't pleased with the result. I believe TileProxy has trouble with autogen. Here's wishing that down the track........ John

I have a medium range Alienware gaming computer. I'm running P3Dv4 along with multiple add-ons -Active Sky, SkyForce, UTlive, Navigraph charts, multiple airports, PMDG, Maddog X, and Aerosoft aircraft. I'm finding the computer is about maxed out, will at times run slow or crash, although not always. I am curious to know is it possible to network and second computer in order to run a few of the add-ons on that computer to take the load off the main computer?? If it is possible can you provide instructions on how to do that. Thanks in advance!
