After flying with P3d v3.4.22 19868 Setup for awhile, I just purchased v4 and installed it. I was advised somewhere that my PMDG 737 would only install in P3dv4 if I first removed it from V3, with the assurance that I could add it back to V3 anytime later. I did the uninstall and installed it into V4 with no issue. Now I want to have the 737 installed back into P3d V3, but the installer blocks me with this message: "An outdated version of Prepar3d v3 has been detected. Before you can install this PMDG product you will need to update Prepar3d." Well, I did a full new download of P3dv3, which is most certainly current, but PMDG still blurts out the same message.…

I've been out of P3D for a while, and am wanting to get back into it. I've always struggled with the AA/shimmering balancing act. 4x sgss performance hit etc. What I need your help with is, if I upgrade to a 1440p monitor, would I in theory need less AA to not have the shimmering issue? If so then I think I'm ready to give it another go. Currently have 1080p monitor, i5 4670k @ 4.5 ghz, gtx 1070, 16gb ram Thanks for your input!

I'm getting a CTD departing RNO heading NE over Lake Pyramid. win 10 64 p3d 4.2 ftx global Pacsim RNO was at top of scenery list. No CTD after RNO uninstalled. Anybody able to confirm this ? Cheers Greg

There's a new sound package for the NGX focusing on the cockpit sounds exclusively where all sounds have been recorded in the highest possible quality on the real aircraft. Lots of different sounds packages has been around for the NGX where mostly the verdict is the sounds that already come with the NGX is the most realistic ones but I noticed this package has got very good reviews from the customers who bought it so far and it does seem like a "serious" package. Updated to P3D v3.4, but I noticed the terrain, (not airport) had wierd blue checker-board patterns. This wasn't an issue in P3D v3.2 So whats wrong?

Hey, my scenery is not loading when flying from an airport to another which is far away. My problem is difficult to explain because I've never experienced such problem, so I have made an example. Example: I've spawned in at London Stansted in the PMDG 737NGX. I depart as usual, and after some time when the aircraft speeds up, it tends to fly faster than the scenery can load. The scenery is detailed all the way until approximately 30 nautical miles from Stansted, but after 30 nautical miles, everything is blurry and ugly. So when I am approaching my destination Salzburg the scenery is still blurry and not detailed. When I come closer to the ground, the scenery loads…

Hello guys, I have a little question, hope you can help me. So I am using P3d v4.2 with the old Ezdok version (1.18). The problem is that when I change the view from cockpit to outside the view changes to "Overhead view" but I am still in the cockpit. When I move I only see the cockpit from outside and a not really detailed wing. The question is how to configure the files that I can change to the Aircraft view because now I have to stay in the cockpit all the time. Thanks in advance Sincerely julietkilo

Hello guys, I have this problem when I load a sceneario of a mid-flight 737ngx flight. Usually when you start the sceneario, the plane "initializes" itself for about 20 seconds. When I load the mid-flight sceneario, the plane is still in the initialization phase, so the autopilot won't work. This reults in the plane flying straight down and eventually crashing. Can anyone help me with this who had a similar situation before?

Is anyone else having problems?

I seem to recall someone mentioning Orbx.. is updating the Australian region...but I can't find any direct mention of it. I've posted over at Orbx...but so far, no responses. Does anyone know or have a link talking about it?

So since upgrading from the right seat of the 747 to the left seat of the 767 I have got into the habit of listening to the Morse code identifier for whatever NAVAID is relevant on any approach, especially as it is company policy. When I tune a localizer or VOR within Prepar3D, however, though I am receiving whatever I have tuned I am not able to hear the identifier. I've seen posts about this, and my P3D crashes at 3000 MB of memory. But, I've seen posts about people who've been able to get over 3000MB. How do I do this? I need to because I love addon scenery, and the FsLabs A320. As you might know, the FSL A320 loves to eat up alot of VAS. But, I have 16 GB of RAM and when P3D crashes, I observe that only 50% of memory is used. So how can I utilize the other 50%? As said above, I've seen posts about how their P3D v3.4 gets over 3000MB. Hello all! I've noticed that on P3D i am getting random, completely black flashing. It is only when I'm on an outside view of a PMDG aircraft, but didn't want to post it in the PMDG section because i wasnt sure if that was the root cause of it. There is no flashing in the Cockpit, only outside. It's not the scenery, but the whole screen. PC Specs: i7-4770k CPU @ 3.5ghz GTX 1080 16GB RAM Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.

Hi guy's, I have something strange going on. Since this week i do a proper descent planning by settings the altitude winds in the DES page of the FMC. Every single time when i do this (the aircraft is still in the VNAV Climb on NAV) the aircraft start turning to the left 90 degrees and diverts from the track. the VNAV track is set with now disco's, still have to set the descent track though. Does anybody have had this same problem? Regards, Ben

Is there a way to add this missing airport? UPDATE: disregard, I eventually remembered that I added this and many other with a package from ORBX. Now have that package added to scenery and all is well.

Hello, Was looking for a flight planner for the CRJ 900 and came across Skyvector. Not sure if it's the right tool to use but someone recommended using Simbrief? Anyone use this and will my flight plan automatically load into the CRJ? I'm new to this and would like to know. Thanks everyone.

Does anybody know whether V3 has updated navigational aids in their .bgls? Or are the data still based on the same databases from 2006 like FSX so that we need to use AIRAC updates as provided here http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids3.html Regards, Chris

ChasePlane updated t v0.4, but it doesn't work with P3D v3.2. Your P3D version is not supported yet. ChasePlane hasen't been updated for P3D v3.2.3.16769 yet. We are working around the clock to make it compatible. Until then, Smooth Zoom and Static Cameras are disabled. Thank you for your patience. P3d v3.2 was always supported! And if i run the non-experimental, it keeps on crashing when i click "Cameras" Help!

Any thoughts about that lady ?, It looks like this bird was barely noticed by our community. I am interested about DC8, but would like to see and read more :-)

Hello, I have flown the 737 on different platforms from eham to lowi before and am just revisiting prepar3d again after x-plane mod 737 crashing all the time. I have just purchased the pmdg 737 for prepar3d and can't find the pmdg tutorial #2 scenario's to load. I'm wanting to practise the steep turn at innsbruck prior to runway 08 and am wishing to load the approach scenario that is provided in tutorial #2. Do I have to already be manually flying the eham to lowi route in order to load the scenario's or is there some trick to copying the relevant scenario files somewhere? I don't understand why the scenarios are not appearing in the list when I goto load scenarios …
