As I managed to get some money for my birthday i fell in need of a turboprop regional carrier that was operated by at least 3 european/american companies. I have a budget of 60 european pesos(aka €)but I still am in doubt. I want a detailed aircraft that has an FMS and that is fun to fly around. Was thinking about carenado's F50 but i'm not sure. Hello, I am not sure if this is just an issue with flight sims in general, but in all iterations of flight sim I've had, f9, fsx, p3d) it seems like upper level clouds are never depicted at all. I have REX Skyforce which I was hoping could change that with all the new cloud models it supposedly has but this is still an issue. Last night I was flying into KORD with the metar having the following cloud layers FEW011 SCT049 SCT110 BKN210 OVC250. The atis never even read back the BKN210 and OVC250 and the was no overcast anywhere near KORD. I am also using ASP4 and have the cloud layers set to 5. Hello, I have a strange brake issue. The brakes always look up and I smoke the tires when taxing and landing. If I just press the brakes they lock up and I see black smoke coming from the main gear. I have also noticed that when I land and use MIN Auto Brakes the airplane comes to a stop withing about 1000 feet and I smoke the tires. What I'm doing now is opting to not use auto brakes, using REV until about 80-70 knots, then applying manual brakes in small spurts as to not smoke the tires. I haven't had this issue on any other airplane. Is there anything that can be done about this? Is it something that I'm doing wrong? I'm using FSX-SE, Maddog X-32…

Would like to know if there are any plans to realease a 2d panel pack for the p3dv4 versión. I left a comment in the Facebook page some months ago but cant find it anymore. I would use the 2d panels from the fsx versión but they are not compatible gauge wise since its 64 bits. For us multimonitor users and home cockpit simmers 2d panels are the only option. Exdok is unrealistic compared to what we do.

The problem is that whenever I load a new flight, my aircraft is about 2,000ft above the parking spot! It’s just.... suspended. My sim isn’t frozen, or anything. And it’s at almost every airport. Any clue of what this could be? I’ve had some really unusually aweful luck with my sim lately so this is just another problem on a much longer list of items that make me want to throw my computer out of the window and give up.

Can someone direct me to the Taxi2Gate forum for KSEA? Can't find it on their website. I'm having an issue at KSEA there are multiple control towers, extra jet bridges where they don't belong, taxiway signs out of place - obviously, there's other scenery conflicting. Would anyone know which .bgl files to turn off to fix this? Appreciate the help. Thanks

If you follow the 'On Approach' YT channel, Edson last night referenced a clip from one of Matt Davies' streams where he mentioned he was looking at bringing the TrueSKY tech into P3D. Matt also mentioned that he had approached LM about it, to which they seemingly said, 'just wait for a bit longer until we finish something else' (something to that effect) . Anyway, there were different views on the issue. What's yours? I haven't used FSW but the sky/cloud does look pretty cool.

Is there some workaround to getting the thrust reversers programmed into p3dv4.2 without the need for FSUIPC.. If not, oh well, I was just hoping to find something. Seems in the main system there is no way to set them. If its only FSUIPC, i assume i do it as i used to with the 3.x version, turn off controllers in sim and program everything via the FSUIPC interface (and calibrate there as well.. in my case ch elite yoke + ch pedals + two throttle quadrants and xbox one controller though i rarely use it or it need for assignments). And does using FSUIPC disable things like the FSForce plugin, which i use for helos when I use the MS Sidewinder? Thanks in advance

Hi Guys, now that P3D has 64bit support, I have finally made the jump from good old FS9 to the new platform. After playing around a bit I have started to insert AI Traffic into it. Everything works well, except for some AI models behaving strange: When approaching their destination airport, the aircraft descent to about 2000-2500ft, but instead of aligning with the active runway for landing, the planes just keep their altitude and just overfly the airport. When they pass it, they just keep flying until they disappear due to exiting the AI display radius. This does not happen to all models, I have just watched this with the following models: OSP's ATRs, FSP's B78…

Ok, so basically I'm fed up with GSX not matching up with where the gate positions should be, Also I had the trial version of Aiviasoft EFB and I was having a similar problem with taxiways not matching up. I also want to buy the full version of EFB, but if this is going to be an on-going problem then it's really not worth it. I also have similar problems with ProATCx taxiiways not displaying correctly. Is there some sort of a one-stop ritual I can run through that will sort this out once and for all? I have just posted a video comparison of this aircraft in Prepar3D v4.1 and XP11.20r3 on YouTube. The flight was made on the same route in the afternoon. I AM NOT offering an opinion on which platform is better, and encourage those who view this post to take it the context that it is - just seeing how the Saab 340 appears visually in both. I fly both regularly, and enjoy both. The video is unedited raw, with no post processing or editing, other than a title text added, so it appears rough in some scenes, especially my landings. Hello everybody, something happened to my computer. Everything got really laggy, even browsing in Chrome, let alone P3D. I have no idea why, GPU doesn't go to performance mode, I'm installing ORBX region for 40 minutes and so on. Therefore I decided to format the drives and perform a complete reinstall of everything. I want to do it just right, so I would like you ask some questions. I want to have it as smooth and efficient as possible. 1) I have 2 drives, one SSD 256 GB and HDD 1 TB. I know that the ideal thing to do would be to get a 512 GB or 1 TB SSD, but that's not an option for me at the moment. Windows 10 will definitely go on the SSD because it's …

I have FTX Northern Ireland and have been given some photo scenery of Northern Ireland. I want to place the Northern Ireland POIs over the photo scenery rather than use ORBX's landclass textures for the region. When I copy the scenery and textures into the same photo scenery entry folder, or even a separate entry folder above FTX NI, I get the standard 3-D models, e.g. wind turbines, dock cranes, power lines, lighthouses all showing correctly. However, the POIs, such as the Samson and Goliath shipbuilding cranes, City Hall building, Stormont building, all are missing their textures and show as black. Hey guys so I have been using 30hz 4K mon i74790k 2 titans sc 6gb sli unlimited fps vsync on triple buffer on process lasso to move addons off 0,and 1 p3d v4.2 using all cores seems quite smooth thou fps drop at a few dense areas i have tried locking fps running at 60hz tried vsync off triple buffer off not as smooth why is that? and for others it works well even in dense areas any help is appreciated thanks i an looking to get a 1080ti kingpin evga will that help? mike

Has anyone tried the RealityXP's GNS 750 running on P3D V3 on a touch screen. I purchased the Flight1 version and it doesn't work, I'm looking for another option.

So, did a 4.5 hr flight from Egypt to Denmark on the MD-82, everything went fine until the last 30 mins of the flight, My Autothrottle stops responding to Speed or Mach settings, even on disconnection, it does'nt budge from it's original position when given manual Joystick inputs, and when you disconnect the A/P using the assigned button on the Joystick, neither does the flight control respond. the FMA simply indicates VNAV LVL and AT OFF, which is a bit conflicting for a beginner like me. So, is there something I am doing wrong? Anything that I missed, or is there a methodology to disconnect A/T and A/P. Thanks, Swapnil.

Is their anyway to stop it going back to normal speed every time there's turbulence? I don't really want to have to turn active sky off so hoping for other solutions!

Really hoping that one of the experts here, maybe by your own experience, will be able to help me with this one as Simmarket just keep giving me the same advice and telling me it should work when it isn't working for me so clearly I must be missing something right? After ChasePlane updated itself in experimental Beta mode, my ChasePlane's Presets went whacko. The Presets all moved approximately 2 feet to the Left of where they were originally set. I tried to reset 2 of my aircraft, but the camera just jerks from where I reset it, back to it's unfamiliar loation (2 feet left). ChasePlane is unuseable in this current state. (It reminds me of when I had EZ-Docs). I hate it. I never thought ChasePlane would break this bad. All of my Presets are ruined, unless I can go back to a previous release of ChasePlane. I DO NOT want X-Plane series sims because I would like to purchase the PMDG B777. I’ve been a member of other flight sims but I think it’s time to bring it back up. I want a good flight simulator. I have a new PC being built and shipped to me from the U.K. It should be enough to support a lot of scenery and FPS. I’d like to know you all’s opinions on which one to get. Hi, I have a question - After landing the plane, ATC will head the plane somewhere in the back of the airport, usually in the cargo area (ramp) and never at the terminal gate. It still affects when i fly with passengers airplanes (B737-B747,A318-A330,F50, S340, CRJ700-900 published by PMDG, Captain SIM, Aerosoft, BlackBox, Carenado and so on). Also I usually fly at detailed aerodromes published by ORBX, Aerosoft, DRZEWIECKI DESIGN, FlyTampa, Justsim and so on. Why? I use also MyTraffic and airline traffic density in P3D4.2 is 40%.
