Hello, Recently, I've begun using AI Flight Planner AIFP to create AI flight plans. I seem to have encountered some difficulties when using B767's, as these a/c seem to require large airport gates due to their size. As a result, they will not fit into a 'Gate Medium' parking gate. However, looking into many of the default airports, it seems there are quite a few airports that do not offer Large/Heavy gates. As a result, it seems many of my flightplans do not show up, as there is no appropriate gate to support the a/c. Not to mention that most of the Ramp parking I've seen is usually for GA, and nowhere near enough to support large a/c. Is this a common problem??…

I was having a lot of handling issues with the excellent Just Flight C152 mainly due to ASN winds. On a whim, I installed my Realair Scout package into V4. I did this by installing into a fake FSX folder, then copied the folders over. To my delight it showed up in V4, loaded in V4, all textures were in place as were the sounds! It started up beautifully and with a smile on the chops I headed off down the runway...and kept heading off down the runway with the stall warning blaring. NOTHING would get the little tyke off the ground. Mmm. I then went to the map and stuck 5000 to my altitude. Whaddya know, it flew! Just as I remember it. Hi Guys My first post so apologies for the basic question which has probably been asked and answered a hundred times over recent years but... Was wondering if you could recommend a good manufacturer for a Lear 45 like the one that came standard with FS9 and FSX for Prepar3d v4? Something with great graphics, good flight model and a usable GPS like the original? I love Prepar3d but I also like a bit of speed to get me quickly to the next ILS lol

Anyone gotten it to work? I just get errors. FSUIPC5 is installed.

People with the "old" RA Legacy - the turbocharged one. How are you flying it? What numbers are you using for climb/cruise/descent? Power settings etc? Since it's experimental nothing is really published. I have found a few things. Generally On climb I'll throttle back a little for 36" at 2600 rpm. And just reduce mixture once in a while to keep the EGT under 1600. For cruise I like to go to about 17,000 as that gives best speed... and maybe I'll do 33" and 2500 rpm. Gets about 280 ktas. Curious what others do?

Gentlemen, I’m planning to buy the fslab A320 for my p3d v4 but I’v heard many comments complain about its performance. Now I’m having a system can run the PMDG 777 smoothly with the FPS locked at 30. So I’m just wondering how the performance of the A320 could be with the same system? Could anyone advise??? Thanks! Hello all and sorry for that post in here...I don't know where to add this post for P3D... So i am usinf Facetracknoir and EzDock2 together my problem is when i turn my head it turns just fine but when i stop movving my head the camera start to shake and try to go to center position...how can delete that that to stop shaking? Not sure what's going on here. Some time ago I purchased an "Upgraded version" of Active Sky 2016. It has worked fine all this time. However, I had to uninstall and reinstall it. It installs fine but when I try to launch the program it errors: Anyone knows why this is happening? (Windows 10 64bit, P3D Academic 4.1.7., Intel 7700K ) " A critical error has occurred in this application. Further program operation is not possible>"

Has anyone figure out a true fix to make these two add ons compatible? There are elevation issues, blurry runways, etc. I've seen some other threads on ORBX forum and FlyTampa but those fixes don't seem to work for me. thanks!

Hi Guys Just recently in the last couple weeks P3D loads before I have a chance to load SPAD, Active Sky; so i have to close it. I don't see P3D in the START menu; so what could be causing this? Thanks for ideas?

As the title suggests. I have a hard time understading the VFR charts in Spain (I am a real World pilot in Sweden). My main problem is the ATZ airspace that surround each and every towered airport. I have started to fly in the Canary islands in P3d v4, and what a beautiful place of the world it is. I just dont understand the controlled ATZ airspace that reaches up to 3000 feet centering each airport while the CTR airspace just go up from ground to 1000 feet (1650 feet). Normally I am not used to ATZ beening controlled airspace and also not higher than the CTR altitude. Any who do you Contact when reaching the CTR during a VFR flight in the Canarias, is it Tower or Ap…

Enabling it will drop performance from 70 fps to a slideshow (15 fps) at TNCM from FlyTampa... amazing. Plus, I am not fully convinced by the effect : my default Mooney was flooding the default AI A321 (parked 100ft away) like a football stadium :-)

Hello, see my system specification in my signature. I usually get a good average fps, but there are frequent lag freezes (duration for approximately 0,5 to 1 second). It also happens at the least convenient time - at flare. Yesterday I was approaching Genova in FSLabs A320, got a freeze just before 30 feet AGL and I wasn't able to flare correctly - smashed it -850 feet/minute. Had to cancel the whole flight in ProjectFLY so it didn't ruin my stats. What could possibly be the issue of this? Any ideas? Thank you. Tomas

Hi all, anyone out there using Alan Constable's Traffic 3d Sounds? I'm using them with Ultimate Traffic 2 and some of my own custom AI. The one problem I'm haivng is that the sounds are very low. Unless I'm positioned right by one of the AI, the sounds can barely be heard. I'm running P3dV4's engine sound slider at around 75%. So i'm just wondering if anyone is using this program with acceptable sound levels. I'm running Win 7 Richard

Hi all! My P3D v4 has very weird rain textures. I think this happened since installing Envtex. I tried disabling Rain in Envtex and applying, but that didn't change anything unfortunately. While on the LOC RWY 4 approach procedure, I noticed that there is about a 5-degree discrepancy in the outbound radial to the ELDOH initial approach fix. I have ORBX Southern Alaska installed and Orbx PAHO airport. Should I contact Orbx or LM to figure out how to resolve this issue? Perhaps the issue is with Prepar3d itself? I have the latest Airrac cycle 1805, from Navigraph, installed for most of my airliners, perhaps I should update Prepar3dv4.2 itself? How can I do that? Kind regards, Shelman

Wondering if someone has P3D version 3.4 and could look at EGJJ and see if they have a grass hill about halfway down the active runway. Been troubleshooting this for a couple of days and it seems like this may be a problem with the default runway at that airport. but not sure. Thanks,

I'm currently using MyTraffic 6 in P3Dv4. I've been using MT6 for quite a while now and it pretty much does the job it's meant to do. However, I'm seeing some competitors on the market. Mainly Ultimate Traffic Live and this new Global Traffic that's due for release fairly soon. My question is this: Is MT6 old and outdated? Would I see much benefit in changing my AI software? Or is a good case of "if it ain't broke don't fix it"?
